Saturnalia
The release date for Saturnalia is now set down along with all of the other platforms that will get to experience this version of Saturnalia
Well, this feels like it came out of nowhere in the best of ways with the release date and updated platform list for Saturnalia dropping on us with some great news. The first being that we will not have to wait too much longer to see what Santa Ragione has been up to when developing the game since it will launch fully on October 27th now. So, just over a month from now. In addition to that, though, it looks as if it will be going further than just a PC launch with Saturnalia heading to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch on the same day too. Some truly massive news for those looking forward to this interesting psychedelic survival horror title.
As the following video alludes to, this is the best little bit some of us could hope for when it came to the Halloween season and getting to experience Saturnalia. It is about the right time to get it all, so that was a solid timeline to go with here. The more interesting part is the long list of platforms that Saturnalia will be hitting as well, since it was assumed to be a PC game with maybe the next-gen systems getting a version down the line. That is where it looks like we drank the wrong Kool-Aid and it will be interesting to see how it fairs on each one out there. Given the style of art and gameplay, it does look like it will function the same no matter the platform, so it will be a title that is also a choose whichever fits better for you instead of trying to see which will have a better frame rate to get to your eyes with.
Saturnalia — Consoles & Launch Date Announcement
Psychedelic Survival Horror Saturnalia is a Halloween Fever Dream, available October 27th on the Epic Games Store for PC and on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch consoles.
Is this a bit of a surprise for you to see that Saturnalia will be hitting all of these platforms or was it about expected at this point? Will there be any crossover between any of these or will they be their own isolated titles where we experience the different characters solo the entire life of the game? Would it have done better dropping earlier in the month or will this be the blast for the holiday weekend that we could have hoped for? Sound off in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all if you so wish to do so. When we have anything more to share for Saturnalia, know it will be on the site for you. Please keep checking back in for all of that and everything else that we can share along the way.
