A new bit of gameplay for Stupid Never Dies is out there to show off some of the new styles coming in Stupid Never Dies It is time to see more of what Stupid Never Dies is going to have to offer up beyond the weird zombie love story that sold it in the first place. Okay, maybe that was not what sold it, and it might have been more that GPTRACK50 was leaning into the weird anime over-the-top aspect of things when it came to the world and gameplay. I am not currently here to debate all of that, as we now have a nice little gameplay showcase that offers up a little more of a look at the story Stupid Never Dies is going to bring, along with the actual gameplay cycle we are going to go through. Not just a button-masher and overly exaggerated moves. Read More...

It is an early Spring for Kena, as the release date for Kena: Bridge Of Spirits on the Switch 2 is very close It looks like Ember Lab was not kidding around when they said that Kena: Bridge Of Spirits was going to be hitting the Switch 2 in Spring. It is one of the worst times of year, in general, but there was an effort to make sure that the game landed in that three-month block, and they nailed it. Almost to the point that there should not have been a reason to be so vague in the first case. That is to say, Kena: Bridge Of Spirits will be releasing on the Switch 2 on March 26th. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We made it through another week of reality, and now we can kick back with some of the fun video games we have seen out there. Even if some of what we saw this week is still in the works. Titles like The Occultist and Directive 8020 are still in the works, but should be in our hands soon. There is the next big event for The Outlast Trials we need to prepare for, and some extra musical fun for There Are No Ghosts At The Grand to entertain. Read More...

We sit down and review Styx: Blades Of Greed. The third title in the Styx stealth game IP. Here is our review of the game. Our little goblin friend is back and up to all of the deeds we know him for, as Styx: Blades Of Greed has landed on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This is the third big outing for our gruff little guy, as Cyanide Studios keeps the story going and all of us in the shadows doing what we were made to do. Well, more of what Styx was made to do is more than anything, as this is a stealth action game set in a fantasy world. Not much of that to experience in the real one beyond the video game versions out there. Read More...

Watch the final developer diary for The Occultist, and see just how open-ended the story might end up being in The Occultist We have had our fun looking at The Occultist up to now with the many behind-the-scenes looks at the game, but all things need to come to an end. So, here we go with the final video that DALOAR has to share before the game launches on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this coming April 8th. All to give us a deeper insight into the game, along with a good reason that things are going to be left up to us to figure out in The Occultist. Not just in puzzles and exploration in the game, but also along the lines of certain things being left vague for us. Read More...

New gameplay for Project Songbird is out there to get us all ready for the full release of Project Songbird soon It is time to get ready to see what Project Songbird will have to offer us all on March 26th when the game lands on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Not that we have not had little looks here and there, but FYRE Games has gone out of its way to make sure we have a bit more to the story, along with a look at the gameplay we are going to be handling. Something that I am sure many might have thought was just going to be a bit of a walking sim, but it looks as if Project Songbird has a bit more under the hood for us to enjoy. Something that will make writing that massive new album in the world just a bit harder. Read More...

The next project is on the way to The Outlast Trials, and it looks like there might be a Judas in the mix of things in Outlast There is more coming over the airwaves when it comes to The Outlast Trials, as we have the next project getting teased to us all. Not just teased, but it looks as if Red Barrels might be shifting things around more when it comes to the story of it all. Almost as if there might be a traitor inside the organization that Murkoff has here. Partially, this all comes from the name of the project, Judas, but also it is coming from the cinematic look we have at what is coming to The Outlast Trials on March 24th. Read More...

A new music video for There Are No Ghosts At The Grand is here to give us a taste of the music coming to There Are No Ghosts At The Grand Get those toes tapping a bit more, as we have some new music to listen to for There Are No Ghosts At The Grand. New music that aims to give us all a taste of the humor and Lovecraftian story that Friday Sundae are aiming to give us all when it comes later in the year. A fun new musical number that also has a bit of hotel renovation gameplay in the mix of things. An interesting take, even back when There Are No Ghosts At The Grand was first announced, and now we get to see how all of that is going to blend a bit more. Read More...

New details for Directive 8020’s multiplayer are here, and we are seeing what aspects Directive 8020 will be pulling from It looks like all that we were speculating and hoping for in Directive 8020 is coming to light when it comes to the multiplayer for the game. Many new updates for Mars Attracts have been released out there in the Early Access, and we have a look at what is to come in Mars Attracts It has been a bit of time since the Early Access for Mars Attracts opened up, and the game has seen so many fun little updates. Those who have been playing along with Outlier in it all would have seen them all flow out on the PC over the past six months. Things like new enclosures, maps, and other elements to add into your park to keep all of the Martians happy, and all of the humans locked up. Along with all of that, Mars Attracts has also been given a few pits of fun when it comes to the overall gameplay loop and the visuals for the game. Read More...

Go behind the scenes again in The Occultist, as we get to hear how the terror of the world of The Occultist is coming to life It is time to go behind the scenes yet again with The Occultist, as we get more of the audio to listen to when it comes to the game. Audio that is more of the score and ambient music we are going to have from DALOAR when the game does finally land out there on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. All of that is still slated for April 8th, if you had any worries that the game might have been delayed after the last update we had on the site. Thankfully, The Occultist is still on track, and we get to hear some of those tracks now. Read More...

New gameplay for Life Is Strange: Reunion is out there, as we watch our Life Is Strange protagonists sneak about the world It looks as if it is time to crash a party as we wait for Life Is Strange: Reunion to fully launch out there on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Well, more that Max and Chloe are going to be crashing a party for some reason in the game, and Deck Nine Games has given us a look at it all with some new gameplay to enjoy. It is something that will keep the game fresh in our minds until March 26th, that is for sure. Especially since this new look at Life Is Strange: Reunion shows off how dark some of the content matter might get in the mix, as this is not going to be just any party we are sneaking into. Those on the PC with Directive 8020 will have some better sights, as Directive 8020 is launching with all the Nvidia perks There was some big news out of GDC this year and it is all about some of the new path tracing tech that PC gamers will be able to see, with Directive 8020 adding to the list of titles out there. This is not overly surprising given how Supermassive Games has always been trying to push forward and evolve their methods. At least, that is how I have always seen it from their titles. Read More...
