A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we all go, with one more week in the books and so many more video games and non-video game things to cover out there. It was definitely pop culture-related and had some interactive media to it, so Universal Fan Fest Nights will also have a place here, just like Horror Nights. That aside, it was great to see more for the Resident Evil movie come up, then all leads into titles that are launching or launched this week. Video games like 007 First Light and the latest version of the Darksiders Warmastered Edition certainly topped that bill. Read More...

Learn a bit more about the upcoming Resident Evil movie, and see just how it will be heading back to the Resident Evil roots We have had a solid teaser for the upcoming Resident Evil movie, and now it looks as if we get to go behind the scenes a bit more with the film as it is still getting itself settled. The film is still slated to hit theaters on September 18th, so there is still a bit of time for things to change. Although there does seem to be one element that we should not expect to change for this Resident Evil film, and that is the fact that we are getting more of the survival horror side of things than the action we have had in the past. Another limited event for The Outlast Trials is out there, with us learning a little more about the world of Outlast It is time to tune that dial to a new place, with the next big event kicking off for The Outlast Trials with Prime Time. One that sounds and looks a lot like the TV theme it is taking inspiration from, but in a way that Red Barrels is going to be feeding us more of the horror. All while feeding our Reagents new propaganda and pain in the world of Outlast. You know, the way that always seems to be even though we are fighting for it not to be the case in the fictional world. We were brought out to Universal Fan Fest Nights 2026. Here is our experience of everything Fan Fest Nights offered up It looks like it is going to truly be an annual thing, with Universal Fan Fest Nights coming and going for 2026. This would be the latest limited-time event that Universal Studios has been putting on that falls in line with its Horror Night in style, but brings us more of the family or general fun for those who do not like to get scared. IPs like Scooby Doo, Dungeons & Dragons, and One Piece, among the many that were out there this year. We had a chance to head out to experience it once again, and here is our review and thoughts on how Universal Fan Fest Nights is holding up. Read More...

The open playtest for Dreadmoor is finally here, and we only have a short window to play the latest version of Dreadmoor After sitting and waiting as long as we have, we can all give Dreadmoor a bit of a play out there on the PC starting today. Not that the game has fully launched out there, it seems that Dream Dock still has more to do for this game, but the open playtest has begun, so we can have a sample of what the game will hold. As if we need more than a dark fishing adventure with all manner of Lovecraftian monsters trying to end our lives to give us a reason to drop anchor on this one. Or is it pull up the anchor? The Early Access for Better Than Dead is finally here, and we can get a solid feel for what Better Than Dead will be bringing us all It is time to take aim and head into the world of bodycam video games, with Better Than Dead having its Early Access kicking off on the PC. It is understandable if you have been lost in which one this is, but we will remind you that it is from Monte Gallo and MicroProse that we have seen in the past. Yes, a solo developer on this one, and it is looking to give us all the most realistic camera angle we can expect. As long as Better Than Dead pans out the way that we are all hoping that it will. The first look at the gameplay for The Sinking City 2 is here, and it looks to advance all we knew from The Sinking City After what felt like so much silence for The Sinking City 2, we are finally here to see some of the true gameplay we can expect in the game. Not that Frogwares has been completely silent about it all, but there has yet to be anything more than the pre-rendered cinematic to let us know that this sequel is in the works. Not even a little bit on how, or if, they were going to change much from the formula that seemed to work in The Sinking City the first time around. Now, it looks like those Elder Gods are blessing us all with a look that shows how it has evolved and what we are going to be seeing on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this coming Summer. A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The time has passed right along, and we are at the end of yet another week with so many video games dropping and getting updates. We even had a few hit us up out of nowhere to get us all further excited for Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish and now Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Rageborn. Not video games I was expecting this week when it started with Control Resonant. Again, not a bad thing, but we did not plan for so much fun and also getting our Mouse: P. Read More...
