We will be taking on a mutant cub in the recently announced title of The Cub If you have ever wondered how things would have ended in The Jungle Book if there would have also been an apocalypse too, let me introduce you to The Cub. This is the next title in the line of games from Demagog Studio and Untold Tales that is going to be giving us something along those lines. No, we are not going to see all of those classic characters in a Mad Max setting, even if that would be cool, but The Cub will tell us all a story that follows those lines but the boy we are guiding is a mutant left behind on a rotting planet. Now the ultrarich that abandoned the planet are back to find out how they can use this youngling to their advantage and find out how he has become immune to the perils of the world out there. A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Here we go with a wrap of one more week with so many more video games showing up and getting some form of update out there. Sadly, some of them have led to a few more delays out there. The reveal for Deliver Us Mars is here with Deliver Us Mars taking us from the Moon to the Red Planet The space adventure continues with the reveal for Deliver Us Mars. This would be the sequel to the previous title that KeokeN Interactive gave us with Deliver Us The Moon. A solid puzzle-adventure game on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Now we are getting to continue that saga forward a bit with Deliver Us Mars as we go from, well, the Moon to Mars. The titles rather spoiled that little bit of a surprise, but it is what it is. More of the Star Wars saga is being fleshed out there with the dark side in the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Some could say that the Dark Side users in the Star Wars IP has been at the forefront of the entire saga so far. Some could while others will lean into the Light side a bit more and give us all a bit of hope. With TT Games and what we will be seeing on April 5th here, it looks like they are adding some lightness into their Dark Side when it comes to LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. It does retell the full run of the core films with the LEGO humor, and now we have a bit of a showing of how that will bleed into the more villainous of characters out in this universe. Read More...

The RPG elements of Vampire: The Masquerade will be very present in the new title Vampire: The Masquerade — Swansong I hope by now that you know that Vampire: The Masquerade — Swansong is based on a tabletop and Live Action RPG system out there. It has been around for decades now and Big Bad Wolf is definitely trying to introduce more gamers to the IP on May 19th when the game hits the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. New and old fans of Vampire: The Masquerade will be glad to see that we are getting more of the RPG elements mixed in even if some of them will be harder to mix into the video game space. Thankfully, with the latest that we have, it looks like they are diving deeper in and linking in the various systems to give us multiple ways to bring the story to its end. Read More...

The Ascent is launching on the PlayStation systems now and you can have one last look at The Ascent here The player base for The Ascent just got a little larger, as the game has now joined the ranks of the PS4 and PS5 libraries out there. Well, as long as you buy the game and install it over there. Neon Giant does need to make back some of the money they used to develop and bring the game over there. Nonetheless, it is time for more gamers to join The Ascent and delve into the cyberpunk setting of the game and add more explosions to their lives. Read More...

A new devblog for Scathe is out there to give us all a better understanding on the bullet hell Scathe will be The bullet hell title of Scathe is still going along strong here and now we have a new developer blog to help us all understand the style of game we are getting. Not that Kwalee and Damage State have not done a great job since they first announced the game, but now we get to dive in a bit deeper. Something that will be needed a bit, as Scathe is not the traditional title in the genre since it is going into the 3D space of it all. It is nothing new, but it is rare to see when it comes to it all. Read More...

The Suicide Squad is going to have to be put on ice as Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has been delayed Well, it looks like that whole call of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League being the next great thing of 2022 is not going to hold up. Yes, that means that we are seeing a delay out here for the game now. A delay that will be pushing the title out to Spring of 2023 now instead of sometime in 2022. This could be why the teams have never put down the solid release date for when the Suicide Squad would be heading out to take on the massive task, but thankfully, it is still coming to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. We are heading back into twin-stick paradise with the latest announcement for Slaycation Paradise We are heading back into a new kind of paradise this year with the announcement of the next twin-stick and tower-defense title that Merge Games is getting behind. A new title that will be hitting the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC at some point during 2022. A new title that also happens to be called Slaycation Paradise and the title slightly gives away what the game will be about. That is, at least, if you are able to guess that it will be about an inter-dimensional murderfest that our game characters will be paying to take part in. Read More...

The release date for Starship Troopers: Terran Command is now a few more months out for fans wanting more Starship Troopers in life The wait is going to continue for everyone looking forward to Starship Troopers: Terran Command to hit the PC. Originally, the game was slated to hit us all on March 31st, but it looks as if The Artistocrats and Slitherine will need a bit more time to make sure the game is ready for us. Thankfully, as dictated by the teams, this will also be the final date for Starship Troopers: Terran Command so we should not expect any more delays for it. That date is now set down as June 16th for us all now, so we just need to wait a few more months for it all. Read More...
