San Diego Comic-Con 2022 — It’s A Hell Of A Thing
by Raymond Bruels [ Wednesday, 17th of August 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
SDCC This Is A Survivor’s Tale To My San Diego Comic-Con 2022 Experience & Just How SDCC Went Down For Me After five days and over forty miles of walking, I really needed to rest and reflect on my San Diego Comic-Con excursion. As mentioned in my introduction to SDCC 2022 article, this is my first year attending. Despite the countless hours reading posts on Facebook, skimming hundreds of images from past conventions, and grilling my Chief Editor on how various elements worked I can safely say it was not enough preparation. Honestly, I think that is part of the awe and grandeur of SDCC, not knowing just what you are really walking into. Read More...

Drinks We Had To Celebrate Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of August 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Dungeons & Dragons The Dungeons & Dragons tavern was in full form at SDCC to help celebrate Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves We brought it up just before SDCC that there was going to be a full tavern built to help promote the upcoming Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves film. All of that but also to give us all a bit of a taste of how the game is brought to life instead of just the theater of the mind that we have been going with for decades now. If you have played Dungeons & Dragons at all, I am sure you have had moments where you have been in some form of tavern or inn to help plan and recruit your party. There is a reason it is a trope for the game and we had a chance to walk around and enjoy some of the drinks out there at SDCC. Read More...

Get Ready For A Fight At SDCC With Street Fighter 6
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of July 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
Street Fighter Street Fighter 6 will be on display at SDCC this year along with various other titles from Capcom to enjoy It would not be an SDCC if Capcom was not out there and showing off all of their various wares or hyping up the next big Street Fighter title out there. Sometimes this is hyping up one that is already out there, but in the case of this year, we will be seeing a version of the upcoming title in the mix. Not only seeing it in the form of a developer's panel, but Street Fighter 6 will be playable on the show floor for those lucky enough to be able to attend SDCC next week. It will not be the full title, but a solid demo that will let us all play around with Luke, Jaime, Ryu, and Chun-Li in a fun little environment. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of July 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
Nintendo Nintendo fans will have more to play out at SDCC with the Nintendo Road Trip making a stop at this year’s con One of the staples that we have had at SDCC over the years has been Nintendo showing up with all forms of games and giving the con-goers a nice little lounge to take a load off and enjoy some games. This staple is now making its way back by making a stop in San Diego during the current Road Trip event that is about to kick off at the end of the week. That is good news for those that cannot make it to SDCC this year so they can take part in the Nintendo Switch Road Trip too. Read More...

Warner Bros Get ready to dive into more Warner Bros. Games with two of their bigger titles getting a showcase during Warner Bros’ SDCC 2022 run We are finally in the full ramp-up to SDCC 2022 and so many are able to actually show up to in-person conventions again and it looks like Warner Bros. Games is going to take full advantage of this with the lack of in-person gaming conventions so far this year. San Diego Comic-Con Countdown — One Month Out
by Raymond Bruels [ Tuesday, 28th of June 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Comic-Con This is a preamble to my San Diego Comic-Con 2022 coverage 2022 marks my first time attending the historic San Diego Comic-Con and I am beyond excited. Being a lifelong fan of comic books, pop culture, and gaming, I have dreamed of attending SDCC for years. Luckily, our Chief Editor is a veteran and has been an invaluable guide through the process. Dreaming of attending and then actually looking at going is vastly different and there are several things to consider should this be your first-year trek. One of the first considerations for SDCC, outside of your ticket, is housing and parking. Read More...

E3 2022 Is Aiming To Go To An Online-Only Again This Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of January 2022 - 06:00 PM ]
E3 E3 is not going to be in-person this year and this could lead to a possible end to E3 in general Those looking forward to see E3 in person this year are going to start getting sad now. Just as the headline states, this year we will not be seeing the event in person once again and thus leading to the third year the massive gaming event will no longer let us go hands-on with the titles. Some will say it is a good thing and others, like us, will say this is a bad thing. Not only because we were looking forward to E3 2022 but because we do not always get the same access to devs and publishers as the larger gaming sites. Read More...
