Tremor Now Makes The Ground Shake In Mortal Kombat X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
The final character for the Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack has been released as Tremor is now playable in Mortal Kombat X as of today Today is the day as all of those who purchased the Kombat Pack for Mortal Kombat X will now get their final character and DLC for the game in the way of Tremor. NetherRealm showed Tremor off at EVO over the weekend and we had a nice gameplay trailer for the character but there wasn't a good breakdown of the variations to the character just yet. That is of course until the most recent Kombat Kast where the team showed Tremor in use for Mortal Kombat X and all of his variations. One of which is something completely new to the game and it adds a great variant to the core gameplay of Mortal Kombat X. Read More...

Review — Tales From The Borderlands: Catch A Ride
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Tales From The Borderlands — Catch A Ride. This is the third episode of Telltale's take on Gearbox's famed franchise. Here's our review on how they did It is a long cycle for new episodes of Tales From The Borderlands to be released but we've had the third episode of the series released and I've finally had the time to sit down and give the extra story bit a play through. I mean the second episode of Tales From The Borderlands landed in March and this one landed near the end of June. At least there wasn't a delay between all of the platforms here and everyone who has a PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, or Gaming PC were able to play through the next bit. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new listing shows that Mad Max is getting a Post-Apocalypse Edition that includes Fury Road and Mad Max license plates Those hoping for a great Mad Max collector's edition or premium edition can now look forward to the Post-Apocalypse Edition…at least if you live in Australia for now. Yes, this is a new addition for Avalanche Studios Mad Max and this edition comes packaged with the hit Mad Max: Fury Road as well as a few other goodies. All of which can be seen on the Australian EB Games pre-order page for Mad Max. This is why I state only in Australia for now as it has yet to show up in any other region yet but it would make sense that Warner Bros. Read More...

It could the first time or it could be the 30th time but none the less God Of War III is now on the PS4 and remastered to 1080p and 60fps by Wholesale Algorithms for Sony Santa Monica. It has all the bells and whistles we remember from the first version just made all pretty for the next gen system as we all wait for God Of War IV or some other iteration to be created as teased by Cory Barlog at the PSX event last year. I guess it will be HD remasters until then. Read More...

Let's Compare More God Of War III Remastered To The Original
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of July 2015 - 06:59 PM ]
If you needed more reasons to give God Of War III Remastered a go then we have it being compared side by side with God Of War III God Of War III Remastered is on the verge of launching on the PS4 to capture the hearts of all those new gamers who have not been able to play the game yet. I'm talking July 14th for those that haven't been keeping up with the times. Sony Santa Monica has taken great care to make sure we can have this PS3 title on the PS4 so we should all be getting excited. It is only the ending of sorts to the franchise's story (so far) and we need to make sure that everyone gets to play that on the PS4 even if they have yet to play the first God Of War titles not native to the PS4 just yet. by Julia Schoebel [ Thursday, 9th of July 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
The first official trailer showing Doctor Who in LEGO Dimensions has been shown to the world at SDCC 2015 and it is a great fit for LEGO Dimensions We all knew that Doctor Who was coming for LEGO Dimensions and it was a safe assumption that he was going to be bringing all of the quirkiness and monstrosities that come with the Doctor. Now we get to see them in action for the first time as TT Games has released the first official look and trailer at the character(s) in LEGO Dimensions and it is just about what you would think it would be. For now this is the closest that most are going to get to having a Doctor Who game on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, or Wii U. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Those who missed out on Gauntlet when it relaunched on PC will now get to play it on the PS4 with the Gauntlet: Slayer Edition I knew it was only a matter of time for the latest Gauntlet title to make it over to the consoles from PC and it looks like the first leap is with Gauntlet: Slayer Edition coming to the PS4. It only took about a year but Arrowhead Game Studio and Warner Bros. has been able to bring the dungeon brawler to a larger audience on August 11th. Read More...

The official description for Batman: Arkham Knight story DLC featuring Batgirl now has a date and premises to see how she will help fight the Arkham Knight We all knew that we were getting a bit of story DLC featuring Batgirl in Batman: Arkham Knight. We just never knew when or in what capacity we would be getting her added to the mix. A Not So Full Review — Batman: Arkham Knight [PC]
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 29th of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
We Tried To Sit Down And Review Batman: Arkham Knight but sadly the PC version has made that impossibility. Here's what I have to say on the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight I received my copy of Batman: Arkham Knight when I bought my new GTX 960 SCC 4GB edition. I had never played the previous three Arkham games or any spin-offs and was quite looking forward to diving in to such a praised franchise from Rocksteady Games to review it without having the others to compare it to. Though after spending a day downloading the game… it crashed on startup. I'm not the only one who has been burned by the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. Read More...

E3 2015 Hands On — Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Two years ago we had a huge splash with the Plants Vs. Zombies franchise during EA's big E3 showcasing and again they have blown it out of the potted plant again with Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2. Not only has Pop Cap been working on all their other IPs and keeping the original up and running but now we are getting a sequel to the amazing arena shooter that a lot of people may have never knew they wanted. E3 2015 Impressions — LEGO Dimensions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See LEGO Dimensions In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It The other toy-to-life games had their huge showings at E3 and now it is time for LEGO Dimensions, the latest one, to try and make its mark on the world. TT Games has a lot to live up to as not only do they have all of their other winning LEGO titles out there to compete with but also all of the other toy-to-life games that have had years of practice before LEGO Dimensions releases on September 27th for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, and PC. There are only so many games and toys we will all buy so there has to be something that will spark us to choose LEGO Dimensions over the others and thankfully out of E3 and what was shown I think Warner Bros. may have just that answer. E3 2015 Hands On — Mad Max
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See Mad Max In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It One of the games that helped start E3 off with a bang, at least for me, was Mad Max from Avalanche Studios. It was revealed back in 2013 before the new film was even a sparkle in our eyes by Avalanche Studios and it captured my attentions back then so I was overly excited to get to see how Mad Max has progressed over the years of development. It launches on September 1st for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC so hopefully it has made it to a state where we can remove the idea it is a Mad Max film tie-in title. Luckily I was able to lay hands on Mad Max at E3 so I can report back how it has progressed and if it will be worth our time in a few months here. Read More...

Watch PlayStation's 2015 E3 Press Conference Right Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of June 2015 - 01:13 AM ]
Can't Be At E3 2015 Or The PlayStation Press Conference? We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Below He we go for the wrap of the day's press events at E3 with PlayStation's big showcasing. Always going last in the list of things and trying to save the best for last to take on the rivals and have something to show that hasn't been shown at any of the other events thus far. Maybe we will hear that PlayStation 4 will be fully backwards compatible just as the Xbox One was announced. That would be a huge kicker outside of seeing Uncharted 4 in action as well as most likely seeing something for Final Fantasy XV and/or Kingdom Hearts 3. Read More...
