Dark Souls 3
Two new collector's editions for Dark Souls 3 have shown up online today and some of the ads point to a solid date that Dark Souls 3 could release
You have to love the internet sometimes as it does its damnedest to uncover things like we have here for Dark Souls 3 today. I am sure that FromSoftware and/or Namco are not too happy about it but it looks like someone has spotted two of the special editions of Dark Souls 3 out there in cyberspace and spilled the beans for you all. Granted as the retailer showing off both of these Dark Souls 3 bundles has still yet to take them down I have a feeling that what you are about to see will be a region specific thing unless enough of you make noise to get these absurdly expensive bundles brought anywhere else.
To clear things up a bit here, a NeoGAF User spotted and brought to light two bundles for Dark Souls 3 being listed by United Arab Emirates retailer Geekay Games. Each edition of the game looks to be pretty standard in terms of what is offered; only in Dark Souls 3's case each offers up a statue just with varying sizes to help dictate why one is more than the other. If you use standard conversion rates and ignore all of the other stuff that goes into pricing though, the Prestige Edition of Dark Souls 3 comes to about $490 USD. If these come to the NA region I am going to guess it will be considerable lower though.
Here is what is currently being listed in each edition of Dark Souls 3 as I type. Also if you look at the ads for each it does state that Dark Souls 3 could be hitting us all on April 12th of 2016 but as FromSoftware and Namco have yet to dictate that out for us all this could most likely not be the correct date. Although it being a Tuesday does add a bit of weight to it all.

Does a statue that is slightly taller help dictate such a drastic increase in price for Dark Souls 3 here? Do you think that this is the official release date for the game or something just slapped on as we wait to hear the official word? If you were to pre-order one which would it be? Do you even care about Dark Souls 3? Let us know and discuss away in the comments until everything gets sorted out here. If we get an official word from Namco, or any other real update for Dark Souls 3, we will be sure to have it all right here for you so be on the lookout and keep checking in.
