Shadow Of War It's time to hear who will be joining you on Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War's quest, aurally, & then maybe meet the Shadow Of War VO cast at SDCC We can mark this under the "Not A Huge Surprise" list, but Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War will be at SDCC this year and in tow will also be the voice cast for the game that has recently been announced. Of course some of the people from Monolith Productions will also be there to talk about the game, but given the way SDCC is, it will be more about the big names linked to the game and seeing them. Injustice 2 Gameplay for Injustice 2's Sub Zero has been revealed and now we can see what he will be bringing to Injustice 2 this week New DLC for Injustice 2 drops this week as we get to add Sub Zero into the fighting mix of this DC hero and villain fighting game. Of course, this is not a huge surprise as NetherRealm Studios has already announced him and we all figured it was coming given Scorpion and the first Injustice title. That and we had a small tease for the character last week as we had our first look at him in Injustice 2, but now we have a whole lot of gameplay to look at and figure him out. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That ends another week in video games out here and even with the slowdown due to the American holiday, it was still a pretty decent one out there. Not overflowing with news and updates, but still just enough out there to keep things flowing. I mean it was more about the updates for Horizon Zero Dawn and Shadow Of Mordor, but other video games like Assassin’s Creed Origins had quite a bit of highlight and we learned about the physical version of LawBreakers that hopefully you picked up on the PC or are waiting for the PS4 version to open up. Shadow Of War A new update for Shadow Of Mordor has released that will carry over Nemesis & Followers to Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War If you had planned on getting to start completely new for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War, then you were right to think that as before now it didn't seem like there was going to be much of a bridge besides story for this title and Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor. For most gamers this is still an option, but for those who had some great nemesis and followers from the first game it looks like Monolith Productions is going to give us the option to carry over the best of each when we spin up the new game on October 10th. Yea, you will be able to start Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War off with your best follower from before at your side fighting the good fight, while needing to be on the lookout for your greatest nemesis whom may be trying to end out their story arc. Call Of Duty The third DLC pack for Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be hitting the PS4 next week with all the usual Call Of Duty goodies mixed right in Not get all of the Call Of Duty titles all mixed up here, but the third major DLC for Infinite Warfare is about to drop on the PS4 so it is time to take note and not confuse this with any future DLC. None of that makes sense to me either. The takeaway here is that the most recent Call Of Duty title that Infinity Ward made for us last year will be getting its third major DLC drop as part of the Season Pass so get ready to dive into that and forget about the WWII one that Activision is also pushing at the same time. God Of War New screenshots for God Of War are out there as well as a fun look at how the new looks for God Of War came about from the previous titles With only two trailers for God Of War being out there currently, the game has already looked to take an interesting turn for the franchise and the character involved. Given the drastic nature of the shift, and the way all those internet fans are, it is no surprise that Santa Monica Studio has been harped on for having a different type of Kratos in the game. Injustice 2 There is now a release date for Injustice 2's Sub Zero DLC and we have a small look at him in action for Injustice 2 in case you were wondering It looks like the DLC fighters for Injustice 2 are going to be rolling out here in a pretty quick order as we just had Red Hood release about a month after the initial release of the game and now we have word on when the next fighter will be joining in. This isn't a completely new fighter mind you but another from the NetherRealm Studios vault brought to us just for this game. God Of War Another gameplay trailer for God Of War has been released and it also tells us God Of War will officially release in 2018 It's been almost a year since last we had anything solid to go on for God Of War as the last official showing was during the media briefing and E3 of 2016. I know there was a lot of hope that Santa Monica Studio would have had the game hitting the PS4 this year, but now it is confirmed that 2018 will be the year that Kratos is back and slaying all of the mythological beasts of Norse mythology. It is a wait, but given that this is the reboot that God Of War should be getting here, I'll wait the time to make sure we get another great experience out of it all. Injustice 2 Red Hood has been slated to come to Injustice 2 in June and now we not only know when he'll join Injustice 2 but we can see more of his action If you've been keeping up with Injustice 2 since launch then it is no surprise to you that Red Hood is one of the DLC characters that will be coming to the game. Hells, if you've updated the game on the PS4 or Xbox One to the latest build that NetherRealm Studios has put out there then you definitely know as he and silhouettes of the other fighters can also be seen in the game. Shadow Of War A new story trailer for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has released and shows just what the new ring in Shadow Of War can and will do For a game that needed to be delayed until October 10th, there sure is a lot of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War to go around here and I have a feeling there will be a lot more given its presence at E3 this year.
