Shadow Of War
A new tribe of Orcs for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is here and they aim to bring all kinds of horrible stuff to Shadow Of War from the Orc side
Here we go with the latest tribe to join the ranks of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War and this one looks to be all about what the game is aiming for; War. That is at least the easy takeaway for this tribe as Monolith Productions has named them as the Warmonger Tribe and they do just as the name suggests. They hunt out and revel in all things war in Shadow Of War all to better respect the big man Sauron for reasons. Those reasons most likely just to kill off all of those who do not choose to follow his lead, but we will know for sure on October 10th when we get the game on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Unless these tribe things are just throwaway concepts to just add a little flavor into the world being built for us.
Nonetheless, we can now see a little of this new tribe in action for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War and see what they may or may not be bringing to the game. They certainly do look like they enjoy the whole war thing, but nothing more than we have seen from any of the other tribes we have seen so far. Maybe they will have better tactics and use of the battlefield in Shadow Of War over the other tribes. That would at least make them feel different from just the generic ones we have seen in the first game and from the rest of the Orcs so far. This one does seem to be the most generic of them all so we can only hope. That would also make the rest of the tribes even creepier and crazier if this is the case.
Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War — Warmonger Tribe
The Warmonger tribe, a faction of Orcs who take reverence for warfare to new levels. For a Warmonger Orc, every moment not spent in battle is a moment wasted as their greatest Warchiefs are those who have carved a bloody swath across Mordor, slaying everything in their path. In Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War, Orcs now belong to tribes, which extend their influence stemming from the Overlords ruling the mighty fortresses throughout the open world, providing a rich ecosystem of missions, exploration and a dynamic Orc society with diverse Orc cultures, all brought to life through the expanded Nemesis System. The Warmonger Orcs are masters of war and combat, they seek it out and relish it, honoring Sauron's name with every riven shield and battle won.
Do you think that this tribe looks to be the more generic of them all in Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War or did I miss something here? Do you think the tribes will have different tactics and very specific things based on their names, in terms of gameplay mechanics, or will it all be fluff while running around the world? What do you think the next tribe will rally behind or is this the last one that we will be getting before launch? Let us all know down in the comments and then discuss as you will. For more on Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War in any of its forms, make sure to keep checking in here. We will keep bringing it all to you and you will not want to miss out on a single bit before launch.
