A little over a year ago, Midway and Epic Games released the highly anticipated Unreal Tournament III. The game, which was awesome to begin with, was made even better by the release of a free map pack. Microsoft recently announced that Xbox Live will be free of charge on February 17 to February 22nd. Now you may all think has Microsoft gone crazy, Xbox live free? No they have only given us this reward to celebrate the launch of Grand Theft Auto 4 Lost and Damned. For 5 days you will be able to play the multiplayer mode on GTAIV for free. Most licensed games that stem from movies have a history of well, being garbage, or at the very least having very few redeeming qualities. A lot of people attribute this to rushed development cycles to tie in with the film's release. There are high hopes for this though considering Raven Software, the team behind Marvel: Ultimate Alliance is at the helm, along with Amaze Entertainment, who have some debatable successes. In 2007, ThatGameCompany released their first game for the PS3. The game entitled Flow, was a vastly enhanced remake of the original award-winning flash game that had been released for Windows and Mac. Now they’re set for their second PS3 release with Flower, a game that is a successor of sorts to Flow. Officially set for release on February 12th on the PlayStation Store, Flower has players control flower petals as they float in the wind through a variety of environments.
