Do we really need another collector's edition from another high end game? In this case, yes we do. Assassin Creed II is joining Batman and Modern Warfare2 for the collectors edition party. It was announced Monday (August 3rd, 2009) on the Assassin Creed twitter that the second installment of the game will have a Limited Edition Gamestop Exclusive of Assassin Creed II. Which will only be available for the US and Canada on the PS3 and the Xbox 360. But the fun does not stop there folks, as when you pre-order the collector's edition from Gamestop you will also receive not one, but two exclusive maps for the game. Read More...

Brütal Legend Take Two As you may have known if you follow Corey or myself on Twitter at all, you would have seen how mush the PR train was rolling at Comic Con this year. It was Huge! But it wasn't just about the free stuff they were giving out or events they were putting on. They also had an updated version of the demo for this game. Comic Con '09 Hands-On Impressions of Dante's Inferno

Dante's Inferno So at E3 this year, we were all given some great teases as to what to expect for Dante's Inferno from EA. All in the form of an extended trailer and a little bit of watching the designers play through a level showing off their game. No solid hands on experience, but it was still a great sight to see. Pro gamers' league signs big deal with Electronic Arts Another blow to your mom's nagging about how video games will never get you any where just flew onto the scene. EA and Major League Gaming have just penned and signed a new deal hooking up EA as a major sponsor for their gaming tournaments. Something that will totally draw more than their average 600,000 people they get now and 5000 to 7000 that show to the live events. Not to mention to bring some big pull with EA Sports and other franchises under their belt now being added to the list of titles to be played for cash and prizes. God of War III Art With talks of a movie script being finalized and a novelization of the first game in the works and slated for the same time God of War III launches, it is no surprise that Sony would be a little more loose with actual game content for this power house. I mean, most of the current press has been revolving around the first game that came out ever so long ago. To help battle this, on the official God of War III website, Sony has just released a new fan kit for people to use and post all over their fan pages to show how big of fan boys/girls they are. The Debut Trailer For ModNation Racers Since E3, there hasn't been much talked about this new IP from United Front Games. It was a sneak hit during the Sony E3 Briefing and shown a little bit, in trailer form, around their booth. After that, it has fallen off the radar from all gaming sites, even here at Aggrogamer. But that is not to say that it has completely been scrapped and forgotten. Looks Like They Were Called

Ghostbusters LPB Costumes Last week one of the fun little things announced for LittleBigPlanet was the addition of a cool little Ghostbusters costume for the game. Well a few of them, but we only got a glimpse of one. You know, the ghost logo guy. look it up on your own time if you don't remember. Well this morning, from the official PlayStation blog, a screen of all four of the costumes you will be able to get this Thursday was just placed for our viewing pleasure. That and a few user created tributes to the film using existing stickers and creation tool stuff and the music video for Ghostbusters. A nice little fun tribute from them for the film too. Japan Gets All The Good Fantasies

Final Fantasy II Released on the Japanese PSN So, two weeks ago the original Final Fantasy was released on the Japanese PSN. Japanese fan boys and fan boys with a Japanese PSN account were rejoiced. But us non-JPSN having fan boys are still left out waiting for it to release in our region. Hint Square-Enix Now it looks like we have even more to be waiting for or considering skirting the system with GTranslate open next to us. Even options for you XBox and PC users that kind of got the shaft the first time around with the release. Even though the more economic version of it all is still on the PS3. Mainly because it is all bundled in for the cost of the BluRay plus a little more.
