In Corollary To Real Warfare

A few things have happened in the world over the last week or two. Outside of "famous" people loosing their mortal coil. We've celebrated our freedom, US at least. We've lost some more people who give us our freedoms. We've gained a game that lets a simulate what people have gone through to give us these freedoms. That game being Battlefield 1943. Well at least console gamers have gained the game.

At to commemorate this game, EA and Dice have a new trailer to get the word out about this game. As well as an ad for you to follow their twitter account at the end. Just a little more to wet your whistle before you shell out the $15 for this game. Video is below.

Before I let you move on with this, I'd like to bring back something that I mention above.

Many other sites, that will remain nameless here, have been using the "celebrity" deaths to sling shot readership. Common practice in the media, but they have all glanced over real news to do this lately. News that is kind of connected to their right to post all their gossip and such. News of people that get swept under the rug because some singer offs himself with pain killers and sleep aids.

I can feel myself getting preachy, so I'll stop here and just leave with this little bit. When playing you war games and military simulations, remember those that the games are based on. Don't let perspective get lost. Read the below article if you want to know more on what I'm talking about.
