Take No Prisoners As Alcatraz Opens In Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of April 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty The next Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout map is here with Alcatraz forcing more close-quarters combat in this Call Of Duty title It is time to recreate The Rock in Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 as the next map coming to the Blackout mode is here with Alcatraz. At least try to do it while fighting off all of the other issues going on with the Battle Royale gameplay that will be going on in the map. I am sure that Treyarch has you covered in a way to be able to do it if you can get all of the other players in on it all. Maybe not. Read More...

Head Down To Your Watery Grave This Summer With Man Of Medan
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of March 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Man Of Medan The release window for Man Of Medan is set down for this Summer and we have a new look at the dangerous waters of Man Of Medan It looks like more horror is on its way this Summer as it looks like Man Of Medan has been given that new window for release. That could mean so much as it is a fairly open window, but it is what Supermassive Games has placed down there now. All of which comes from the latest developer diary for Man Of Medan where they also go into the waters and boats used in the game and how they captured it all. Spoiler alert, they used real boats and water wake to do it all then stripped it apart to mix in properly. Read More...

Borderlands 3 Is Officially A Thing With This Announcement
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of March 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Borderlands There were many Borderlands announcements out at PAX East with Borderlands 3 getting the official announcement treatment The rumors have been swirling for Borderlands 3 for a while now and out of PAX East this year, we have confirmation that it is indeed a game that is coming. It is not as if Gearbox would toy with everyone over this, get their hopes up, and then have them be crushed later on. It is not their way and even with the technical issues and teasing during the event, we finally have a solid look at Borderlands 3 with gameplay and the usual stuff that gets mixed into these games. That and the two villains that we will be facing off with as two villains seems to be the video game standard now. Read More...

Moons Of Madness Is Announced & Taking Our Fears Further Into Space
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 26th of March 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Moons Of Madness A new cosmic horror title, Moons Of Madness, is announced with Moons Of Madness diving into the horrors of sanity in the vast void of space The cosmic horror trend continues as we have another title in the vein of it all announced with Moons Of Madness. This is not to say it is a bad thing, but it does look like the shift for the year is going strong with Rock Pocket Games digging into it as well for this Halloween. I will always take a good horror game for that time of year. Also, given the fact that Moons Of Madness looks to be taking on some of the better aspects of some of my other favorite space-themed horror games, I will take it all again. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of March 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is over and it is time to take a deserved break with more video games. This time in the way of actually getting to play them and not just write about them. Not that we did not like the fact that Ashes Of Oahu now has a set timeline to release or that The Division 2 had so many updates before we can play it now. I would rather just be playing that hearing all of the teases out there. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of March 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Ashes Of Oahu Ashes Of Oahu is the new name and game that built on Nightmarchers and we will get to see Ashes Of Oahu sometime this Spring About this time last year, we caught wind that a title called Nightmarchers failed to get funded through FIG but the team was going to keep working on it to bring it to market. That team being Wyrmbyte and that promise coming to light as we have the announcement of Ashes Of Oahu on its way this Spring. This would be the same game with some changes to fit with what they were aiming for as well as to make sure cultures were respected. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of March 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Sekiro The latest trailer for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is here and with it comes some new bosses and enemies we can expect to fight in Sekiro There is just over a week left to wait for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and now is the time that it looks like FromSoftware will be diving deeper into all of those bosses and enemies we have been waiting for. At least if the official launch trailer for the game that just dropped is any indication from it all as we get to see all kinds of new beasts and monsters mixed in with a load of story bits going around it all. Sure, it does not do much in the way of keeping players surprised in many instances of Sekiro, but it does great for marketing. Read More...
