The next part of the Man Of Medan developer diaries is here to better explain more of the multiplayer mode coming to this game and the rest of The Dark Pictures. Last time we saw how Supermassive Games was giving us a co-op form of gameplay and now we are back to see how the Movie Mode will play out. This would be the mode where you can have up to five players playing Man Of Medan in a fun mode that was actually crafted by players of their other games. For those who are out of that loop, it comes down to how groups were streaming Until Dawn and trying to make sure the whole group was as involved as the characters in the game.
What is interesting to see here for Man Of Medan, is that each player will need to "sign up" for their character at the start of the story. As it progresses along, there will be stops and breaks to make sure there is time to pass the controller. That is something that was not overly easy in the previous title mentioned. Not only that, but it was left up to the players to "score" each other and it looks like Man Of Medan will give a breakdown of things between chapters or main story portions. That is how it sounds based on the following video we have for it all. Have a look and see just what we are talking about here.
The Dark Pictures: Man Of Medan — Don’t Play Alone (Part 2)
Delve deeper into the multiplayer narrative adventure of Man Of Medan. Who are you going to play with?
Is this about how you expected things to work for this mode in Man Of Medan or did you think it was going to be something more involved? Will this make it easier for friends to be able to play this horror story or will it cause a lot of issues in the long run of it all? Do you also find it weird that they chose to break this off into a much smaller video instead of just giving us a full diary last week? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. When there is more to share for Man Of Medan, we will be sure to share it all here. Just keep coming back with all of your friends to see it all moving forward.
