ScreamRide Is Coming & We'll Be Able To Scare Riders Sooner
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of February 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
ScreamRide has a new launcher trailer and a bit of information on the Demo that is available today for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 ScreamRide had to be one of the more bizarre titles I saw at E3 during the Microsoft Conference. This would be the title from Frontier Developments where we will get to make some insane roller coaster or amusement rides all in the vein of generating screams. More or less a torture simulator when you split hairs only that the NPCs involved in the game don't seem to get injured and love being placed in life-threatening situations. Most people wouldn't find ScreamRide fun, I would think, if there were truly being injured. Read More...

New Rise Of The Tomb Raider Screenshots Have Risen From The Snow
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of February 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
A fresh batch of screenshots for Rise Of The Tomb Raider have been released and ready to be ripped apart by all of us waiting for the next title in the franchise Last week we had a nice look at the new environment design for Rise Of The Tomb Raider. Crystal Dynamics will be taking us on a lovely romp through Russia in the next game so we know it is going to be filled with all kinds of snow and dangerous locations for Lara to get into trouble. Sadly then that was really all we had to go with outside of a few little clips from videos past. That is no more as now we have some fresh Rise Of The Tomb Raider screenshots to look at that includes all of those harsh, cold environments as well as what looks like a nice warm desert scene. Darksiders 2 & Other Nordic Games Titles May Be Going Next Gen
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of February 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
New listings on Amazon show a Darksiders 2 Definitive edition as well as a few other Nordic Games titles coming to the PS4 and Xbox One I'd start by saying that the Darksiders 2: Definitive Edition for the PS4 and Xbox One was a rumor except that as of this time Amazon Still has the page live for pre-order from Nordic Games. So pretty much we can expect to see Death gracing our next gen systems sometime this year after being remastered by Nordic Games. Some may scoff at the idea of another "remaster" title coming out instead of a brand new IP but Darksiders 2 was a title that I personally think everyone should play and very few did so on the PS3 and Xbox 360 so here is a chance to remedy that gamers. There is a new look at Rise Of The Tomb Raider and the new environments and effects that we will get to experience on the Xbox One Here we go with a few more updates for Rise Of The Tomb Raider coming from Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix for the Xbox One and Xbox 360. It still pains me that I can't list any other platforms at this time but what are we going to do right? Well we'll just keep on keeping on and have a look at what is new in the way of environments and the world for Rise Of The Tomb Raider. That is totally what we are going to do. Read More...

Have A Good Look At Bloodborne's Gorgeous, Gothic Environments
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of February 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
A new look at Bloodborne's environments has been showcased and it really highlights the creepy, gothic setting Bloodborne will have If there has been one thing that has impressed me for Bloodborne it has to be the setting and environment for the game. I am a sucker for creepy, Gothic settings and there is no doubt that From Software is bringing the 'A' game for Bloodborne in that aspect. Even when I have had shoddy hands-on experiences with the game this has been one thing that has kept me wandering around and searching every nook and cranny of the levels so I can get the full appreciation for Bloodborne. If you have yet to experience anything for Bloodborne outside of the previous trailers and gameplay videos then rest assured that just below we have a nice showcasing for all of the environments and world I've been gabbing on about. Rumor Mill: Legend Of Zelda May Be Getting A Live Action Show
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of February 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
New rumors out there is a Legend Of Zelda live action show is being developed by Netflix from the Wall Street Journal It's only been seven years since we had that IGN April Fool's joke about there being a live action Legend Of Zelda film in the works so it is about time we get that all spinning up again right? Of course it is. Only this time it isn't April Fool's Day and this doesn't look like some elaborate hoax to generate web traffic to the IGN website. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 7th of February 2015 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Well that was a fun and stressful week for video games and for us. It may look like we favored the same small group of games all week but in all honesty Mortal Kombat X, Game Of Thrones, and Dying Light just had so much to cover. Hells we even had three reviews this week and two of them were in that short list you just read. Nothing like being able to keep us all up to date on titles that are currently out there hoping to win over the collective and ever black hearts of us gamers huh? Read More...

Review: Game Of Thrones — The Lost Lords
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of February 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Game Of Thrones — The Lost Lords. This is the second episode of Telltale's take on HBO's famed TV franchise. Here's our review on how they've done so far The release of Game Of Thrones — The Lost Lords has come and now we have Telltale's second episode for the six part story that links into the TV Show from HBO. The first episode was a bit on the slow side and stayed safe with all of the standards that have been set up via Telltale's normal storytelling structure but did this episode follow suit? Or did The Lost Lords break free of the iron bonds and give us something really new to experience with Game Of Thrones? Read More...

We have a new look at all of the options we are going to have when it comes to our characters in Bloodborne…and a bunch of new gameplay If you are looking to have your own special snowflake when it comes to Bloodborne it looks like you are going to be in luck. From Software has added in a whole mess of options into the game to customize your character however you want and they were so nice to give an exclusive look of all of that. At least an exclusive look for all of that to IGN so they could take us all through a quick minute version of all of the option Bloodborne will have to make you all nice and special. Hopefully so you don't look like any other character when you finally log in with you PS4 and play the game. Read More...

Game Of Thrones Episode Two Has Its Launch Trailer Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of February 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Game Of Thrones — Episode Two: The Lost Lords has its launch trailer released now just in time for the episode to hit our systems It feels like Telltale is a little off the ball when it has come to the next episode for Game Of Thrones. At least when you compare it to all of the other titles that they have released usually we have this kind of trailer the Thursday before a huge launch. Maybe they didn't want it to get lost in the myriad of Super Bowl ads over the weekend or maybe I am just skewed in my memory. It just seems odd for them to have their launch trailer hitting just like every other developer's launch trailers do. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 1/19/15 — 1/23/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 24th of January 2015 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games The weekend is finally here and for those not at PAX South it is time to hunker down and play those sweet video games that we've been talking about all week. Or at least dig into those backlogs. I know I still have a huge backlog but Gat Out Of Hell and Saints Row IV are taking up a good chunk of that time. I need to get those whittled down so I can at least only have them in the background while I get ready to focus on titles like Dying Light and Life Is Strange. Hells, even Evolve though that is still a few more weeks away. Read More...

Game Of Thrones — The Lost Lords Has A Trailer & Release Date Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of January 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Telltale has released a new trailer for Game Of Thrones Episode 2 — The Lost Lords and with it comes the release dates So the whole theory that the Game Of Thrones video game from Telltale was going to sync up with the premier of the next season of the Game Of Thrones TV show is going to be thrown out the window. That is unless we get hit with a few episodes back to back real quick as the next episode, The Lost Lords, for the video game is slated to hit on February 3rd now. That's right, no Game Of Thrones episode for January at all as we now have to finish out the two month wait for this new episode. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of January 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare's Havoc DLC focuses on the Exo Zombies gameplay and story line We are down to literally a week before we will all be playing with Exo Zombies with the Havoc DLC for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. At least those who have the game for Xbox One or Xbox 360 as the rest need to wait. Yea, we all hate timed exclusives now that we have to wait to play Exo Zombies. Let's all riot until the DLC comes to the PS3, PS4, and PC too. Read More...

Review — Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of January 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell. Is this the Saints Row expansion we want to Sloth around and play or Wrath out on? Here's Our Review Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell was teased and then fully announced back in August during PAX Prime weekend. Many thought that this was going to be the next full Saints Row title to get added to the mix but later we found out that it was a standalone title that was to follow Saints Row IV. This kind of things has worked for other titles (inFAMOUS: First Light) but does it do the franchise justice? Do we want a Saints Row title in hell? Read More...
