by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of July 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is now over and we can kick back and finally appreciate all of those video games we have out there new and old. Most of what we had this week skewed to the new side, thankfully, and many of which we do not have long to wait to get to experience. Sure, Sifu and Gollum might be hitting us in 2022 now, but we still have Dying Light 2 and Call Of Duty to keep things going. Among many other video games that will also be dropping soon and not in the coming year or years. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of July 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go and finish out his week with a few of those stragglers that we out there from the previous big weeks for all of these video games. Not to say that we did not have some good ones here, but after loads were blown during E3, it usually dries up and we have to go about picking up the rest of the pieces out there. Like for Pathfinder, Chernobylite and Doom Eternal. They did have some great showings during the event but these following weeks will always be a bit slower for the big news in video games. Kingdom Of The Dead Will Take Us Back Into A Different Era Of FPS
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of July 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Kingdom Of The Dead A new retro FPS, Kingdom Of The Dead, is coming and it looks like Kingdom Of The Dead will play with some lights to give us some old fun There is certainly a run on "retro" style video games as of late as we add another to the list with Kingdom Of The Dead. Retro in the way that the teams are opting to go with the lower-end visuals and styles to bring us a new game and then hopefully focus on the gameplay mechanics a bit more. That is the hope once again with this new title as we have from Dirigo Games that looks the part. From the gameplay here for Kingdom Of The Dead, it also looks like it could walk the walk when it does launch on the PC in 2022. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of July 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Dreamscaper The release date has shifted for Dreamscaper to offer us all a way to get in on Dreamscaper just a bit sooner It is always a weird thing to see but it is good news when a game's release date is shifted and bringing it to us sooner, which is the case for Dreamscaper that we have here. Originally, it was looking like Afterburner Studios was ready to drop it on the PC and Switch on August 12th, but now we are going to be seeing it on August 5th now. It Will Sone Be Time To Be Brave And Escape From The Tartarus Key
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of June 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Tartarus A new horror title, The Tartarus Key, is announced with us needing to escape the various locations in The Tartarus Key Some of out there are looking for the next best visuals when it comes to our horror games, and then there are some that pine for the good old days that The Tartarus Key will be aiming to take us back to. That would be the latest title announced from Vertical Reach recently that will be hitting the PC next year but still give us that feeling of going back to some of the retro style of things some grew up with. My guess is that along with Armor Games Studios, that will be the goal they have and seem to be doing a fairly decent job with based on what little we now have for The Tartarus Key. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That wraps up more of the news and updates for this week and all of the other video games we had out of this year's E3. Life Is Strange A new breakdown of Life Is Strange: True Colors is here to give us a better understanding of the new powers coming to this Life Is Strange story One of the other titles out there that felt like it was getting some solid presence during the digital E3 this year had to be Life Is Strange: True Colors. This Week In Video Games 6/14/21 — 6/18/21
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of June 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That was one whirlwind of a week there and we barely made it through a small slice of those video games that were announced, updated, or just plain shown off here during this year's virtual E3. While it was a bit easier to cover in this manner, it did feel like there are still so many other games to talk about. I am just glad we were able to get to Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy, The Outer Worlds 2, and Redfall here. Read More...

Chase More Ghosts This July With The Release Of Chernobylite
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of June 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Chernobylite New gameplay for Chernobylite is here to tease us as we get a solid release date set down for Chernobylite as well Last we heard from Chernobylite was that the game was going to be hitting us all this July at some point. We speculated that this would most likely be near the end of the month given how loose The Farm 51 was with the release window. Now, hot out of E3 this year, we have that final date to look forward to for those looking to play Chernobylite on the PC from whichever vendor they are looking to go with. The PS4 and Xbox One players will have to wait a bit longer. Read More...
