Review: Game Of Thrones — Iron From Ice
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of December 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Game Of Thrones — Iron From Ice. This is the first episode of Telltale's take on HBO's famed TV franchise. Here's our review on how they've done so far The wait for the next Game Of Thrones season to start on HBO has been a long and grueling wait. Lucky for us Telltale has found a way to try and keep us involved in the franchise without having to read the books and spoil what we have yet to see make the adaptation. We finally have the first episode of Game Of Thrones out on our PS3s, PS4s, Xbox 360s, Xbox Ones, PCs; you see where this is all going. It's out on as many consoles as those who died in the first few minutes of the first episode of the TV show. Read More...

See Why The Planet In Evolve Had To Be Evacuated
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of December 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Turtle Rock and 2K have released a new story trailer for Evolve and it shows exactly what the hunters are fighting for in the game It looks like there is more to Evolve than just running around killing "innocent" monsters and wildlife. I'm just as shocked as you as up until now the story has been pretty much just that. Now it looks like there is a new story or at least just a new mode for Evolve that details a bit more into why the 12 best hunters have been gathered to go after the massive monsters that seem to have shown up to destroy the planet. Well, at least make the planet a bit more inhabitable for them instead of the humans and robots that have dominated the land for gods know how long. Read More...

More Batman: Arkham Knight Gameplay Footage To Blow Your Eyes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 1st of December 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Part two of the Batman: Arkham Knight Ace Chemicals gameplay has been released and it shows off how hardcore the Batmobile is truly going to be We have the second part of the latest Batman: Arkham Knight gameplay now. I am still not sure why Warner Bros. or Rocksteady thought they had to split the gameplay footage into two parts but none the less they did. Just like before it may be new to some of you in the aspect of having something to ingest with your eyes but you should have had a word picture painted for you with words by now; if you've been reading anything worth a damn online about Batman: Arkham Knight from the recent cons and game shows. I've tried at least. Read More...

Here Is The Iron From Ice We Want For Game Of Thrones' First Episode
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 1st of December 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Telltale Games has released the full trailer for Game Of Thrones — Iron From Ice to get us all ready for the episode's launch tomorrow The wait is now over and we have the first full length trailer for Game Of Thrones — Iron From Ice. This would be the first of six episodes for Telltale's episodic game adaption for the insanely popular TV show/Book series. Although the game is stated to follow the show more than anything and this of course covers the characters and the actor portrayals on the show. I mean, they have one of my favorite little people carried over in voice and likeness for Game Of Thrones officially now and he is supposedly one of the characters that made a huge change from page to screen. This Week In Video Games 11/24/14 — 11/28/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 29th of November 2014 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games The biggest take away for this week in video games would have to be Evolve, Reviews, and Telltale. When you look at the list of what we were able to cover this week in video games then it should be easy for you to see just about that. There were a few deviations from that list of items there but with American Thanksgiving and Black Friday causing so many hiccups in the news streams not many other developers and publishers had much in the way of news and updates for their titles. I am sure that will not be the case for the next few weeks given what is coming up in the world of video games. Read More...

Looks Like We Have The Evil Within — The Movie
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
A YouTuber has taken the time and care to pull all of the cut scenes and gameplay from The Evil Within to edit out a nice feature length horror film for us all The Evil Within was slated to bring us the most terrifying experience in video games to date. Some would claim that Bethesda and Tango Gameworks fell a bit short on that promise. For every one of those naysayers out there though there is at least one other gamer who has yet to try and make it through the whole game out of fear. I know at least three personal. Read More...

Looks Like The Monster In Evolve Is Starting To Nest
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
A new gameplay mode for Evolve has been announced called Nest. This is where the hunters need to hunt down the baby monsters while Mama protects them Until now we've seen the one game mode for Evolve called Hunt. To be honest I thought that this was going to be the only mode with just the maps, characters, and tactics changing to keep things feeling fresh. It looks like now we have a nice look at the latest mode announced for Evolve titled Nest. This is a mode where things get straight flipped up-side-down for all involved as the task is to save or destroy half a dozen little monster eggs scattered around the game's map. Read More...

Be Thankful Now, We Have A Game Of Thrones Release Date
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Just as it was assumed, we have a release date for Game Of Thrones episode one straight from Telltale Crack open the wine and get ready for the first episode of Telltale's Game Of Thrones title to be released. Some of us have yet to even start munching on American Thanksgiving meals yet and we already have plenty to be thankful for now. Just as I assumed last week we are seeing Iron From Ice for Game Of Thrones during the first week of December. Unlike Tales From The Borderlands it looks like a global release will not be broken up more than we have seen in the past titles and episodes that Telltale puts out for their games. Read More...

Time To Assault Your Eyes In Evolve With Parnell
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
IGN Has Shown Off The New Assault For Evolve Named Parnell And He Brings The Super Soldier Like No One Else Can We have our third Assault for Evolve now named Parnell. I believe that is all of the launching hunters that we will be getting in Evolve this coming February although I am sure that we will get hammered with DLC to keep the game ever evolving. You would be lying to yourself if you didn't think that was going to be the end goal for Evolve. At least the game is fun and the new hunters look like they are going to add well into the mix so maybe that will be forgivable as we get hammered more on the PS4, XB1, and PC for game superiority. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Turtle Rock Studios and 2K Games want you to help Name That Monster for Evolve's next big hulking mass of death and destruction We are getting some updates for Evolve pretty steadily here as of late. We still have no clue or word on what the third monster we are going to be getting when Evolve launches in February for the PS4, XB1, and PC. We do on the other hand have a clue as to what we are going to be getting for the fourth monster. You know, the monster you will be getting as DLC if you pre-order Evolve well in advance. New Batman: Arkham Knight Gameplay For The Watching
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
A truncated version of the E3 Batman: Arkham Knight demo has been released to show the world how bad-ass Batman is going to be You've been waiting for some new Batman: Arkham Knight footage and it looks like Rocksteady and Warner Bros. are ready to oblige you with that want. We have some "new" gameplay for Batman: Arkham Knight just a bit below and it is… nothing all too new except for those who have yet to make it to a trade show or major convention. While the footage is quite cool and shows off Arkham Knight rather well, don't read into all the hype that everyone else is placing on it as it isn't anything too new for most. Then again, I am looking at this as someone who has been neck deep in all of the gameplay and news that has come out for Batman: Arkham Knight since we first received the announcement. Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Games, games, and more games has been the huge theme for the last few weeks. Not just in news but in video game releases. Hells, this week we had yet another two reviews (Adventure Time: The Secret Of The Nameless Kingdom and Escape Dead Island) and we have more to come. And Our Game Awards Nominees Are…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
The nominees for The Game Awards have been announced and some are still open for YOU to vote on Love the idea or hate it but The Game Awards are coming here in a few weeks and the nominees and categories have been announced. Some of these were done yesterday via Geoff Keighley and the organization's official Twitch account. The bulk of them were released directly on The Game Awards website. A site that kind of makes things a bit difficult to get all the information you want in one quick and easy way so I've taken it upon myself to give the quick and easy way to look at all the games, developers, and performers that will be up to win whatever prize or trophy The Game Awards is offering up. Have A Nice Tease For The Game Of Thrones Video Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
The first teaser trailer for Game Of Thrones from Telltale has been released and confirms a few things that have been in question to date We now have an official teaser trailer for Game Of Thrones' first episode, Iron From Ice, and it pretty much confirms all of those 'leaked' screenshots from earlier were for the episode and the game from Telltale. Now we just have to wait patiently for the official release announcement so we can boot up Game Of Thrones on our PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and/or PC. It should still be sometime next month if Telltale is to keep their word on the first episode releasing before the end of this year. Read More...
