by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of October 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Gameplay footage of an early build of Dragon Age: Inquisition has been released showing the visuals of max setting on PC There has been little concern up until now that Dragon Age: Inquisition was going to look amazing as well as play amazing. If you had concerns after watching any of the past gameplay videos then maybe the following one will put your concerns to rest as it looks like BioWare and EA have taken great care to make sure we have the best game coming to us. At least it is an assurance for those fans of Dragon Age as a franchise and are looking forward to Dragon Age: Inquisition in the coming month. If all is to be believed here, the creator of this video was invited to EA to play and early/alpha build of Dragon Age: Inquisition. Read More...

Looks Like Microsoft My Be Bringing Your RoomAlive
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of October 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
There is a new tech demo that shows off an augmented reality system in the works call RoomAlive from Microsoft I remember not that long ago that Microsoft was using the Kinect to create a form of Augmented Reality in our living rooms. The project was called IllumiRoom for those who don't remember or have a strong Google-Fu. The idea behind it would be that by using the Kinect and a video projector you could expand out the screen of your game to add an extra level of immersion. The Kinect would 'scan' the area to get a digital mapping of your play space so that the projector could properly display no matter the contours or set up of anyone's living room or gaming space. A new video for The Evil Within has been released showing off the haunted and other enemies of the game and the best way to handle them We've seen how we need to make every last bullet count in The Evil Within so now it is time for us to see why that will be the case. That is we get a good look at the Haunted and the Keeper that will be plaguing us as we try to unravel the mysteries of what is going on in Sebastian's world here… Or head… Or whatever is going on in The Evil Within. I'm still not clear as to what Shinji Mikami has in store for all of us with the game but I know I can't wait to dig into The Evil Within here on October 14th. For all of you out there who want a little more substance to the gameplay of The Evil Within do know that there is a bit in there for you as well. Read More...

Time To Buy A Murder Instrument For Far Cry 4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of October 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A new gameplay video for Far Cry 4 has been released from Ubisoft and Red Storm Entertainment to show off all the fun weapons in the game Now that we've seen who we'll be facing off against in Far Cry 4 I guess we should have a look at what and how we are going to defeat Pagan Min. Outside of just forcing our way in and hoping to win a slapping contest we are going to need some serious hardware. Nothing says "I Win" like using a flamethrower to slap someone in the face instead of your limp wrist-ed human hand. Am I right? Read More...

We Now Get To Be The Zombie In Dying Light
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of October 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
It's just been announced that we are no longer limited to playing a survivor in Dying Light but we can be the zombie in the game This may be shocking news to most but not to me as now we can play as the zombie in Dying Light. It's not too shocking to me as this seems the way that most games that have a forced multiplayer aspect have been going as of late; especially when it comes to games that have a monster type hunting. None the less, Techland and Warner Bros. have made the announcement official and we will be able to play as one of the infected during Dying Light. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of October 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
The next character revealed for Mortal Kombat X is Quan Chi and we have a nice look at all the variations he will bring to the game It's been about two months since we had a full character announcement for Mortal Kombat X so it is about time to see a new character. Yea, we did kind of get Goro announced but that doesn't fully count as NetherRealm and Warner Bros. didn't give us any information on the character outside of being pre-order DLC. We need a full character announcement with variations and Kombat video to go with it. Read More...

Discover The Inspirations Behind All Things The Evil Within
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of October 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Three new developer diaries for The Evil Within have gone live from Bethesda and Tango Gameworks and this time they discuss their inspirations for the game, sound, and visuals Last week we had a good long view inside the minds behind The Evil Within. At least that was in the terms of the game's director and creator. There are a whole lot of other aspects and designers involved in making The Evil Within so it looks like now we get to dig into the grey matter of all those other people on the team over at Tango Gameworks. This time it is in the general inspirations from Shinji Mikami and all of the aspects of visual and audio design that is sure to scare our panties off when we dig into the game and not the team's brain. Light Up And Get Stomped Out In Alien Isolation
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of October 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
The How Will You Survive Video Series Continues For Alien Isolation Showing Off Why Lighting Up Will Only Lead To You Getting Stomped Out Well it looks like things have just gone from bad to worse in the Alien Isolation "how not to play the game series" as now we are seeing blatant things most of gamers would never do in a game. At least if you watch the latest two videos from Creative Assembly and Sega just on that. We have one where Amanda chooses to use a flare to distract the Alien but then stupidly runs over an active android for a tag-teamed death. Read More...

All The Epic Beards Of Dragon Age: Inquisition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of September 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A new video from BioWare and EA show off all the customization options we will get in Dragon Age: Inquisition including epic beards I guess customization in our games is something we really want in games and the latest Dragon Age: Inquisition video shows that off to a great extent. This of course is title that should have a crazy customization tool as BioWare and EA know we all want to be our own little snowflake even if no one may ever sees it. Not to mention that Dragon Age is an RPG franchise so it makes sense that we are going to be able to make our character look how we want to feel while playing Dragon Age: Inquisition. That is our prerogative isn't it? Read More...
