Can You Feel The Fear?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of May 2009 - 12:17 AM ]
Feel Game Trailer A while back there was some buzz about a game based on the horror film The Grudge. It was quite a while back, and it was mainly the people that brought the film to you were working on a game, but the internet buzz twisted it one way and went with it. As the mass majority of internet users are want to do. What else would we expect from the crazy people on the internet and their pornography clouded minds? Well for once, at least from looking at this video for a game called Feel, they were more on par with what was going on than normally given credit to those crack pots. Read More...

Another Evil Blast From The Past
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of May 2009 - 05:39 AM ]
Resident Evil: Archives I said it a long while back that this year was going to be the year of Resident Evil. Not that it would dominate the market and be game of the year. But that there was going to be a cornucopia of Resident Evil titles out for consoles this year. Although it would seem that more of them will be on the Wii over the other consoles out there. Count is 1 to 1 to 2 now. XBox, PlayStation and Wii respectfully. Read More...

Almost Died From Memory
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of April 2009 - 05:21 PM ]
More Dead Space Extraction Screens Just when the buzz started to die down about this Wii Rail Shooter, Dead Space: Extraction, EA throws a few more screen shots out at us. Not the best way to generate that buzz back up about the game, but it is a good way to keep the slight vibrations of it going just a little bit longer until the big pay off. I know where all of your minds just went with that last sentence there. Don't deny. Read More...

Alright, Enough Already
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of April 2009 - 04:29 PM ]
More Wii Accessories Well it looks like the Wii is now creating it's very own fitness facilities right in your home. I understand the popularity of the Wii Fit, I mean its innovative, it's new, it's healthy, but really these items will be put in a closet or stashed somewhere after a few months of boredom if more games cannot be used with them. First up is the WiiDum, 1.7lb weights that cradles the controller ever so softly. Read More...

WARNER BROS. INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT, TT GAMES, THE LEGO GROUP, HARMONIX AND MTV GAMES ANNOUNCE LEGO® ROCK BAND® Almost a month ago, it was let slip at GDC that Lego Rock Band was in the works. As well as a few other titles that were most likely going to be glanced over in a keynote speech, but that is a different topic. Wii and DSi DLC for the Week of 4/13
by Brian Bentley [ Wednesday, 15th of April 2009 - 12:09 PM ]
Sorry it’s been a couple of weeks, folks, but once again, I’m bringing Nintendo’s weekly DLC into the spotlight.  This week, the big N drops two titles into the DSi Shop, one into Wii Ware and one into the Virtual Console.  Everyone has good weeks and bad weeks and Nintendo is different with this week’s lineup. The “Telephone” clone is impressive in that the title can support up to 21 people online, but 500 points seems a bit pricey for a slightly improved version of Picto-chat.  The Master of Illusion Express: Shuffle Games title is a great idea, for a demo. Add An Extra Inch To Your Wii
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of April 2009 - 05:15 PM ]
NINTENDO TO SET SUMMER '09 ABLAZE WITH WII MOTIONPLUS AND WII SPORTS RESORT Announced almost a year ago and suppose to have been out by the end of last year, Nintendo has finally set the date for when the world will be able to add an extra inch to their WiiMote. That is the attachment of the WiiMotion Plus device that is suppose to give better tracking of 3D space to your Wii games. As long as developers have placed in the code for such things. But in any instance, us in the USofA can look forward to picking up the little thing on June 8th for the low cost of $19. Read More...

Silent Hill Is Creeping It's Way to Nintendo Wii
by Sam [ Thursday, 2nd of April 2009 - 04:44 PM ]
Anyone who enjoys a good horror game should be familiar with Silent Hill. Silent Hill was first a hit for the original Playstation, then recently making it debut on the Xbox 360 with Silent Hill 5. In the latest issue of Nintendo Power, they confirm that Silent Hill is now coming to the Wii.The game is titled Silent Hill: Shattered Dreams. Konami states that this isn't a remake or a port of the first one, but a "reimagining" of the game. No release date has been announced, but hopefully it will be out later this year around Fall or Winter. Read More...

Wii DLC for the Week of 3/16
by Brian Bentley [ Tuesday, 17th of March 2009 - 01:01 AM ]
Taking the path down to Retro-land has many twists and turns...some more expensive than others.  Another Commodore 64 game was released this week on the Virtual Console and it is a good one: Summer Games II.  I very fondly remember going over to my friend Jason's house and booting up the C-64.  Not as fun to me as Winter Games, Summer Games II gave you the thrill of sport on an international level we had hardly seen before.  I have some great nostalgia for this game, but I'm not paying 500 Wii Points for it. Talk About Being Effed Out
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of March 2009 - 10:46 PM ]
HOUSE OF THE DEAD: OVERKILL BREAKS [AN EFFIN'] RECORD FOR THE GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS GAMER'S EDITION Now this is a feat if I say so myself. Not the getting into the Guinness World Records book, especially since there is the Gamer's Edition. That would make it kind of moot to say that a game made it in. But in this instance, it isn't just making it in, it is the reason behind getting listed in the book. It is an effing awesome reason too. Read More...

The Chronicle Continues
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of March 2009 - 04:04 PM ]
Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles Announced With the 5th installment of the franchise mere hours away from the mass populace, it should really be no shock that Capcom is going to try and keep the Resident Evil steam roller going by announcing not one, not two, but three new games they plan to bring out to market before the end of the year. Looks like they want to make 2009 year of Umbrella. If only all three were actually original games. Read More...

Wii DLC for the Week of 3/9
by Brian Bentley [ Wednesday, 11th of March 2009 - 04:17 AM ]
Hey there kids, it's time for your weekly Wii wrap up.  Even though we're only being graced with one WiiWare and one Virtual Console release this week, your selection improves to help you erase the taste of Family&Friends Party Time Game Thing from last week.  As the one'n'one combination sadly becomes the standard for the Monday DLC drop, I find it interesting that even in this week's press release is referenced your growing library of games in your "refridgerator" when we have yet to receive any new information on a storage solution for the little white box. This week you get two old school games: one retro platformer from a retired mascot and one retro-styled side-scrolling shooter.  Whether it's nostalgia for the Master System or the arcades, you might have a reason to hit up the Wii Shop Channel this week. The Organizers Target Us With More Shots
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of March 2009 - 05:55 PM ]
More To View On Platinum Games' Mad World With the launch of this game just around the corner, as in a few days (March 10th), the people over at Sega and Platinum Games have decided to tantalize all of us who are waiting for this game with some more in game shots. Which is odd because you would think there would be another launch video to get everyone pumped about this Wii Hack 'n Slash full of blood and gore. But beggars can't be choosers I guess. Even though it is all in Black, White, and Red they still make this game to look like yet another hidden classic on the Wii. Read More...

Wii DLC for the Week of 3/2
by Brian Bentley [ Wednesday, 4th of March 2009 - 03:58 AM ]
After a big week last week releasing four games, Nintendo gears back down to its normal conservative self.  This week in Wii DLC we have a game for everyone and a game for one.  For everyone in your household we have Gammick Entertainment's Family&Friends Party.  After searching their site extensively and finding no trace of the game, I had to rely on on Nintendo's exciting trailer.  You may not have family or friends to play with when they find out you spent 1,000 Wii Points on this game.On the flip side of the coin, on Virtual Console, is another Square Enix RPG from the Super NES days: Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen.
