The description for Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack on the Xbox Live Marketplace has revealed that Predator is the other Mortal Kombat X Guest DLC Hot off the presses of the last Mortal Kombat X news from yesterday we have yet another character announcement of sorts. This one comes from the description of the Kombat Pack DLC for the game when it launches on April 14th. This would be one of the other guest stars for the game and not another core one. During the latest Kombat Kast for Mortal Kombat X the variations for Mileena & Takeda were shown off as well as how the Kombat Kollective added to the game We may have seen and heard of a lot of characters over the last few weeks for Mortal Kombat X but most have not had all of their variations. Luckily that is what the Kombat Kast is for before we get to the full release on April 14th. In this most recent one we had a nice long look at Mileena, Takeda, and Kung Jin in Mortal Kombat X. One is an alum and the others are new for the game. Read More...

Some of those images of course show off some new characters in action even though they have yet to be announced or revealed. Mortal Kombat X's Story Will Play A Bit Different
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of March 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
During the latest Kombat Kast for Mortal Kombat X it was shown how the game's story will play as well as Johnny Cage's moves As if we didn't have enough Mortal Kombat X news and updates last week, it looks like this week is starting off with a bang. Well technically as some of the story mode and Johnny Cage's moves were shown during the Kombat Kast last Friday but we were only able now to get the clips that most may be interested in from the hour long show. I'm not stating that the Mortal Kombat X Kombat Kast isn't worth the watch in general, the NetherRealm guys are great with it, but when it comes to the gameplay of Mortal Kombat X here is what we have to offer. First it looks like the story mode for Mortal Kombat X is using a lot of the same structure that started in MK9 and carried over to Injustice. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of March 2015 - 11:04 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This week in video game news can totally be summed up with delays and Mortal Kombat X. Hells, even Mortal Kombat X had a delay announcement for the last gen systems. Nothing like what happened to Uncharted 4 and Homefront being delayed until 2016 but at least nothing was cancelled. This of course is all to go along with the showing off of two titles coming out here soon; Battlefield Hardline and Bloodborne. Like we had any worry on those video games being delayed though… As per the usual structure here, we have a nice little list showing off all of the video game news, information, and updates that we were lucky enough to cover during the week. Warner Bros. and NetherRealm have released some new info on the Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack & the first guest character fitting for Friday The 13th So here we go with even more Mortal Kombat X character reveals, updates, and information. I love that NetherRealm is giving us a flood of new stuff but I wish that it was all at one time. This one though makes sense given the Friday The 13th date and the announcement. If you couldn't tell by now we are getting Jason Voorhees, of Friday The 13th fame, as our first guest character and he will be included along with three other characters in the Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack. See How Mortal Kombat X's Mobile Game Is Going To Handle
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of March 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
New footage for the Mortal Kombat X mobile app has been released and shows off how the game will be played It seems to be Mortal Kombat X week over here as we had the character announcements earlier and now we have a nice taste of the mobile game's gameplay. Just below you can see how Mortal Kombat X is going to handle on the Android version of the app but it should be safe to assume that it will run about the same on the iOS version as there doesn't look to be anything platform specific here at all. I'm not an iOS guy so correct me if I am wrong in that statement but if there isn't tapping and swiping allowed there then I am glad to keep with my Android products; with more Mortal Kombat X now. Here is what we can see for Mortal Kombat X running on an Android. Read More...

More Characters Confirmed, Rumored, & Seen For Mortal Kombat X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of March 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
In the wake of GDC and a new trailer for Mortal Kombat X we have more confirmed fighters and more to speculate on if they are more than set pieces I guess it's time to state that Johnny Cage is now completely confirmed for Mortal Kombat X. We have some new gameplay footage for the game and now we have a good look at the character. Also though we have some new speculation that proves that my mistrust in having screens and renders for character in Mortal Kombat X are actually founded a bit. Oh, and Sonya Blade is a 100% confirmed fighter for Mortal Kombat X. Read More...

Johnny Cage Is Pretty Much Confirmed For Mortal Kombat X Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of March 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A recent update to the Mortal Kombat X product page on Amazon has revealed Johnny Cage plays a huge role in the game outside of fathering a new fighter At the end of last week Johnny Cage was only rumored to be in Mortal Kombat X. Now, thanks to an update on Amazon for the product page, we have a character render and character description for Mr. Cage. Granted this doesn't completely confirm that Johnny Cage will be playable in Mortal Kombat X but it does kind of point more in the direction of that being the case. Read More...

Atlas Is Getting Mugged In Episode 2 Of Tales From The Borderlands
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of March 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The second episode for Tales From The Borderlands has a release date and a new trailer showing off some of the action we can all look forward to It's been some time since we had the last episode of Tales From The Borderlands hit our gaming machines. I guess it would be the first episode and there has been almost a 5 month gap in between which sadly looks like it is placing Tales From The Borderlands on the same level as releases for The Wolf Among Us. Maybe I am being a bit harsh here but this is one of my favorite titles from Telltale as of late and didn't want to have to wait until March 17th for the second episode. Yes, that is the date that we will be getting the second episode for the game. Read More...

New Gameplay For The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Straight Out Of PAX East
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of March 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
CD Projekt Red has released some new gameplay footage for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that was shown to fans during PAX East over the weekend Another year and another PAX East in the bag that was filled with all kinds of new videos like the following one for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The people over at CD Projekt Red sure do love to show off all they have for this game so far and they have treated us all to another seven or so minutes of gameplay for the game. Just the kind of thing we've all been waiting for as we have to wait so much longer to actually start to dig into the 100+ hours of gameplay that The Witcher 3 is being claimed to have. Unlike other titles out there, even though we've had hours of gameplay shown over the last years of time this doesn't feel like we have seen all of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt before the launch.
