Rumor: Another Two Characters For Mortal Kombat X?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of March 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
From recent interviews and screenshots it looks like Mortal Kombat X may include playable Johnny Cage and Blind Kenshi Others are stating that it has been confirmed that Johnny Cage will be coming back for Mortal Kombat X. Others as in other outlets who are basing this all off of a recent interview, that has been pulled offline by Warner Bros., where one of the senior producers on Mortal Kombat X stated directly that Johnny would be playable in the full version of the game. This interview comes from Game Crate and has been spread all over by now but it looks like the PR cleanup crew has been doing their job to keep character announcements on their terms and not a slip up by some of the people working on the game. This all comes from the most recent Kombat Kast from NetherRealm where the team showed off a bit more of Cassie Cage's variations and then finished with her performing a Brutality to end the match. Of course this was also followed up with a montage of a bunch of other Brutalities to help add up to the more than 100 different Brutality finishers. The Assignment DLC for The Evil Within has been given a new trailer and an official release date for all of us wanting more horror in our lives We were teased last week with the release month for The Evil Within's first DLC pack from Tango Gameworks and Bethesda. Why we had a tease just over a week before the official announcement date and full trailer is beyond me. None the less it looks like that DLC for The Evil Within, titled The Assignment, is coming to the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Steam on March 10th. Not much of a shocker there but that is the official date for all of those Season Pass owners or pick and choose DLC downloaders. Read More...

Spawn May Be Coming To Mortal Kombat X If NetherRealm Wants
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of February 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
According to a recent interview with Todd McFarlane Spawn could be included in Mortal Kombat X if NetherRealm wants to us the character Hopefully you read the title correctly so we won't have to look at this as Mortal Kombat X rumor, conjecture, hopes, or any other bullshit that usually goes rampant when a little nugget like this hits the web. What is going on is that during a recent interview with GamerFitNation, Todd McFarlane (the daddy of the Spawn franchise) made claim that NetherRealm could bring Spawn into the Mortal Kombat X franchise. Not only that but it is really up to the studio and publisher if they want to as there has already been a short deal struck between the two. Read More...

DmC: Definitive Edition Shows How Turbo Mode Isn't Cheating
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of February 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
We have a new comparison video for DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition's turbo mode which speeds up the whole game by 20% for those who want that option DmC: Definitive Edition has a turbo mode which is one of the updates for the edition and it is a gameplay modifier that can be turned on if one so chooses. Back in my day, that makes me sound old, turbo mode meant that the controller had an option to turn on so one could just hold down a button and the controller would rapid fire off the command to the system. For DmC: Definitive Edition it ramps up the overall speed of the game by 20% because this is something that apparently was missing in the original version of the game. Read More...

Let's Meet The Order 1886's Cast & Crew For The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of February 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
We have another behind the scenes look at The Order 1886 and this time Ready At Dawn highlights the individual characters that we are going to experience in the game Even with the rumors that The Order 1886 is only five hours long that is not going to stop Read At Dawn from showing us all how much the game is going to offer us in the ways of entertainment. That is really what we should be focused on as even if you can beat The Order 1886 in about five hours if you want to play the game twelve times then you can rack up all of that time and get your enjoyment time. That should be the better focus here as the PS4 release for The Order 1886 looms so close with the 20th only a few days away now. Read More...
