Dying Light Dev Tools Are Getting Deathmatch & Co-Op Modes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of January 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Dying Light A new update to the Dying Light developer tools will allow fans to build their own custom Dying Light experiences in the realm of Co-Op and Multiplayer modes Another free update for Dying Light's developer tools has been released and it looks like it adds quite a bit in the world of Co-Op and PvP for the game. Quite a bit in terms of it is giving you all the tools to build cooperation-based scenarios and Deathmatch maps now in Dying Light just like Techland would if they weren't so busy getting the next major DLC out to us. Of course this is all for the PC version of Dying Light but if we dig a bit deeper into a few things I think we may see something for the PS4 and Xbox One. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of January 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Homefront A new gameplay trailer for Homefront: The Revolution has been released to show off the world of Homefront more as well as confirms the release date that was rumored before It looks like the Homefront: The Revolution release date that was "leaked" last week has now been confirmed with the latest trailer for the game from Dambuster Studios. I had a feeling that Deep Silver would get in front of this release date issue and let us all know and now we can confirm that Homefront: The Revolution will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 17th 2016 here in the NA region. May 20th for those in the EU region. Read More...

Look At The New Mortal Kombat X Characters In Action For KP2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of January 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat X A new gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat X's Kombat Pack 2 has been released to show off a bit on all of the new Mortal Kombat X characters coming in this upcoming DLC The tease and reveal for Mortal Kombat X's Kombat Pack 2 characters has come and gone a while ago. Thankfully the time gap hasn't been too great before NetherRealm Studios gave a nice look at each of the new Mortal Kombat X characters in action. Granted it isn't anything like we have seen in previous Kombat Kasts from the past but it is a nice showing of what we can expect in Mortal Kombat X from Alien, Leatherface, Triborg, and Bo’ Rai Cho when the DLC lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime this year. Not to keep you any longer from the footage for Mortal Kombat X's new characters though. Read More...

Paragon Changes More To Help Out Even Novice Players
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of January 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Paragon A new list of changes for Paragon has come out in terms of the updated Alpha Test and it looks like Paragon aims to help even novice players of MOBAs too If you are currently taking part in the Paragon Online Test that Epic Games has been hosting then you may already know that there are a few changes coming to the game as well as a few little extras asked for by the community. If you are not, and haven't been following Paragon, then you most likely don't know what is in the pipeline for the PS4 and PC MOBA title slated for later this year. This is one of the great benefits we all have in game design in this modern age as fans can help shape a game and it is going over well here for Paragon as well. Read More...

DOOM Has Some Menacing New Screenshots & Details To Digest
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of January 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
DOOM A fresh batch of screenshots for DOOM have been released as well as a few highlights from the upcoming coverage of DOOM in Game Informer for us to take in Most of everything is stated in the above as we have some new screenshots for DOOM out there and ready for us all to pick apart and enjoy as id Software continues their work toward bringing us this franchise again. It does look like they are nailing DOOM to the best of their abilities from just the visuals we are getting here but there is still so much more until we can add this game to the great wall of Bethesda when DOOM launches sometime this spring. At least that is still the tentative time for DOOM to come to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

CES 2016 Hands On — Oculus Rift & Oculus Touch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of January 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Oculus While at CES 2016 I was able to play with the Oculus Rift & Oculus Touch in a more intimate setting than just a video. Here's my take on the Oculus Rift & Oculus Touch Obviously one of the big items around CES 2016 was the Oculus Rift; especially since it went up for pre-order and all of the new details cropped up just at the beginning of the show. That of course led to a whole lot of debate on if the Oculus Rift was going to be worth the $600 price tag out the door or if it was going to be another overpriced gizmo with a lot of buyer's remorse. This led me to take over the job of checking out the hardware of the Oculus Rift and Oculus Touch controllers to see if the price point made sense for where the system is now or if, like I said, it was something that could be left behind. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of January 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Hellblade It has been confirmed that Hellblade will be releasing during this year and that Hellblade will be hitting the two announced platforms at the same time Due to all of the weird speculation and rumors that the internet has loved for Hellblade there was some concern that the game was going to be delayed until 2017 as Ninja Theory stated that they had to scrap a few things in the recent months. They have come out and explained that and again are out to give us all an update on Hellblade and when it will be released for the PS4 and PC. You know because many gamers out there are hell-bent on stating false things based on an obscure or un-understood quote. Read More...

Story Time — Dying Light: The Following
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of January 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Dying Light: The Following A new story trailer for Dying Light: The Following has been released to give us a feel for the tone that Dying Light: The Following will take us through in the new expansion Looks like it is time to have a look at the story coming at us for Dying Light: The Following. At least to have a look at it in a different way as this is the second story-like trailer for this expansion that Techland has pumped out for Dying Light: The Following in my count. Only this time it looks like we are going to have to deal with more of a cult-ish style of mentality in the world of Dying Light over the survivalist mentality that plagued many of us more than the zombies. We'll all know for sure on February 9th when Dying Light: The Following lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC though. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of January 2016 - 08:00 PM ]

Zombies Garden Warfare 2 kicks off next week for the console players and it will give us all a nice look at Garden Warfare 2's new Heroes and much more If February 23rd is too far off for you to play Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 then you can try to get in on the ground floor of the game as PopCap Games is bringing us all a multiplayer beta next week. In fact it will be running from the 14th to the 18th of next week as long as you are looking to play Garden Warfare 2 on your PS4 and/or Xbox One. All of you PC players will have to wait it out longer but at least you won't have to experience all of the bugs that may still be in Garden Warfare 2 on the software side or the server side. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of January 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Outlast 2 The first screenshot for Outlast 2 has been released to show how evolved the gameplay will be in Outlast 2 over its predecessor It has been a few months since we had a nice teaser for Outlast 2 and some form of update on the game progress in development from Red Barrels. As we roll into 2016 we are most likely going to get a whole lot more on this amazing horror game that is still slated for a Halloween release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For now though it looks like we are going to have to deal with just a nice little screenshot from the game to keep our blood boiling and ready for Outlast 2 in some form. Or you know; you can just go play Outlast again and get a good fright. Read More...

Homefront: The Revolution's Release Date Might Have Been Leaked
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of January 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Homefront: The Revolution A new pre-order card for Homefront: The Revolution found in Target might have just given us a look at when Homefront: The Revolution may be releasing this year It has yet to be completely confirmed but we may have a release date for Homefront: The Revolution. At least if the pre-order card for the game at Target is correct and Dambuster Studios is about to wrap up their development cycle on the game. As it looks the release date for Homefront: The Revolution could be May 17th of this year for the at least the Xbox One but if true I think it would be safe to assume that it would be the same for the PS4 and PC versions of Homefront: The Revolution. It would make sense. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of January 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Dying Light A new custom-made zombie thrill ride for Dying Light has been made available for all to experience in the PC version of Dying Light Looks like the Dying Light train is still rolling and rolling strong. Especially when it comes to the "modding" community that are using those developer tools that Techland has given all of the PC Dying Light players out there. It has gone so far as to allow for some great new custom maps and experiences to be crafted in Dying Light. Now we have one that has impressed not only the community but also the developers that it is now free and available for all. Read More...

Pre-orders are now live over on their site and we now have a price and an expected release window for this year. That would be sometime around the end of March or early April depending on who you hear from. As of this writing mine is stating that it will ship in April of 2016 but I have seen others claim sometime in March. Read More...

More Leaks For TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan Still No Announcement
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of January 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Mutants In Manhattan More information leaked for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan in the way of Xbox One Achievements but still no official word on Mutants In Manhattan even being in development This seems like it is going to be a running joke for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan as we have yet another "leak" of information but no acknowledgement from any of the parties claimed to be involved on if it really is a game. It's been a few months since rumor started up that Platinum Games and Activision were working on Mutants In Manhattan but even now that we have a list of Achievements for the Xbox One version of the game we still have no one jumping out into the open and declaring TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan to be more than just a fan pipedream. Yes, you read that. Read More...
