Stroll Around The Scraplands Of Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden

Mutant Year Zero

A new gameplay walkthrough of Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden is here to show off a new location and give heads up that Mutant Year Zero is hitting Game Pass

If you were looking for more locations we will be exploring in Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden then you have stumbled into the right place as we have scrounged up yet another one we will be exploring on December 4th. Well, maybe not scrounged but were given from The Bearded Ladies and Funcom to show to you as it goes into an area called the Scraplands and houses more gameplay for the game. It is more for Mutant Year Zero so we cannot be too upset about that. Just sit back and take it all in as we have to wait a little bit longer for it to hit the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

More or less, it is a lot of the same motions we have seen in Mutant Year Zero to date, but it is a new location and a side map we will have in the game. I am guessing that means it will not be required for us to make it through the base story of the game. It also looks like it will be an area where we will find more enemies and items in the world to most likely grind up to a higher level. Unless I am misunderstanding what we have here to see for Mutant Year Zero. I do not believe so, but you can look and see if I am off base here.

Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden — Scraplands

In this video, Producer Mark Parker takes you through the Scraplands area of the game.

Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden is a tactical adventure game combining the turn-based combat of XCOM with story, exploration, stealth, and strategy. Take control of a team of Mutants navigating a post-human Earth. Created by a team including former Hitman leads and the designer of Payday.

In addition to all of this new footage here, it looks like Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden will also be hitting up the Xbox Game Pass on December 4th for those who are interested in the game but are hesitant to drop the cash up front. Not a bad deal for those out there who are able to take advantage of that. It looks like the only gamers that will have to go in blind will be those PS4 gamers as there is also a demo out there for Mutant Year Zero right now for the PC. From what I have seen though I do not have many doubts that this will be a solid game and these are just little nice things that Funcom is offering up for those too nervous.

What do you think about the Scraplands here for Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden? Do you think it will be part of the core story or does it sound like a bunch of side missions we will be able to take on and grind out some new gear and levels? Does its inclusion to the Game Pass make it more likely for you to give a try or have you already thrown down your cash for the game? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. For more on Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden, be sure to keep checking in here. We will keep all of the updates coming at you as best that we can.
