Bring On The Stranger's Wrath To Oddworld

Just about six years in the waiting, PlayStation owners will finally get their chance to play Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath. Not only play it, but play it the way we are told it should have been played all along: with 720p graphics and PlayStation Move support. Just the way I expected to play the game back in 2005 when Oddworld Inhabitants brought it to market on the XBox. I loved Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee. I would probably love a collector's edition like the God of War Collection of all of the Oddworld Inhabitants titles, but that is a dream I would assume is way off in the future. Read More...

Let's Look At Jigsaw's Drawing Board

Where does he get all those wonderful toys? Oh wait wrong franchise for that quote. But it still kind of fits for Jigsaw in the Saw film and video game franchises. Doesn't it? For those of you that don't know where he gets them let me spoil it for you. He makes them himself, unlike Batman. Just like any good builder, be it creative death traps or video game level design, it all has to start somewhere. That somewhere usually blueprints or conceptual art for the ultimate thing to slay audiences minds. I Can't Live Because Of You NCSoft

Craig Smallwood from Hawaii will soon be a name that will be in gaming news for a while. Why? Wired.com has reported that Craig has filed a lawsuit against NCSoft. What for you may ask? Craig claims that NCSoft “acted negligently in failing to warn or instruct or adequately warn or instruct plaintiff and other players of Lineage II of its dangerous and defective characteristics, and of the safe and proper method of using the game.” Wahhhhh? Craig claimed NCSoft should pay unspecified monetary damages because of how addicting the game is. Read More...

Enslaved Went West To Gamescom And Showed The Goods

Up until now, I have been only mildly interested in Enslaved: Odyssey To The West. It has an okay concept, but the screens, clips and hands-on I have seen or had up until now have done nothing to overly impress me. Please notice how I said "up until now." If you look back, you'll see it in the sentence prior. We were given a really great look at where the game has progressed to so far and it feels and looks like a whole new game to me. Since then I have been pouring over the many pictures I snapped - from the Activision Party to the Nintendo and Sony presser to everything else in between. I also managed to film some of the Method Man and Redman concert at the Konami booth. You may think it is all fun and games when you are at E3, and at times can be, but it is also a lot of hard work. Yager Productions and 2K games is no exceptions where they showcase Spec Ops: The Line for the first time. Since it was announced through a need to Platinum God Of War III, God of War: Ghost of Sparta has been a title on my radar with a HUGE blip. It is God of War game, after all, but it is also a God of War on the PSP again. Not that the first wasn't great, but will a PSP follow up to the superstar God of War III be as good?
