Didn't make it to San Diego Comic Con or the South Park: The Stick Of Truth panel? Well we got you covered. Or at least an amazing individual on the internet has you covered in the video aspect and I have you covered in the details as I was there taking notes for you. It should be no surprise that there isn't much in the way of new information since E3, but a few choice questions from fans and during the panel revealed a few tidbits. One of the best things I have heard in a while has to be that there are no plans to force DLC down our throats even though there were some major cuts from the 850+ page script of the game. With the fall of the mighty THQ and the purchasing of South Park: The Stick Of Truth by Ubisoft, all of us have been questioning what may or may not change in the final product. Especially since Ubisoft has it's hearts with the French and the Canadians and the minds behind South Park love to tear them apart. With questions like that and a huge interest in the game, I took a seat and watched what Obsidian had to show us at E3 after the great publisher swap. I am so glad to see that South Park: The Stick Of Truth is still moving forward and striving given the loss of the original publisher and completely missing the launch date. While Ubisoft did purchase the game during the great THQ fire sale, I was a bit worried that this was going to fall into development Tartarus or be so altered it wouldn't be what we were led to expect. Admit it, the more you see on Remember Me, the more links that can be made to the title mentioned films. That is at least after checking out the new 'Memory Trailer' that hit the web recently. It touches upon pretty much one of the core aspects of the game, story and game play-wise. Memory if you somehow forgot about it by now. I do mean basic from the below trailer for the game. Pretty much you take control of Nilin a memory hunter in Neo-Paris. The year is 2084 and it would seem that memory manipulation is the new rage in keeping humans down and in their place. Nilin finds out that she has been wiped of memories and wants to get them back. It's been a bit of time since Sony held its huge press conference where the PS4 was officially announced. They let loose the proposed specs for the new machine as well as a quick look at the Dual Shock 4, new services, and a few games that will be coming this holiday season. With the announcements comes a bit of wonder and excitement, as I am sure Sony wants, but should we blindly follow along and get ready to drop upwards of $600 this November? Rebellion Developments just gave us a "reboot" or "remake" of the 2005 shooter of the same name, Sniper Elite: V2 which takes place in the same time frame. This time rather than infiltrating the Nazi Army in disguise, you are a lone sniper against both the German and Russian WW2 militaries. Referencing the real life "Operation Paper," you must sneak behind lines and kill, or rescue, German scientists from creating and launching deadly V2 rockets. The game plays very smoothly; only on few occasions, and probably at my provoking the system, did I experience any spots of being stuck or absurd clipping. How many reasons do you need to pick up Prototype 2? For me it was the sheer fact that there is a sequel to the game coming out that sold it for me. Then again I am a huge fan of the first and have seen nothing but good things for PT2. So correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Sony already had a title that was pretty much LittleBigPlanet Karting. Or at least what one can assume that LBPK will be all about. Those assumptions obviously would be right and by looking below you can see a few new shots of the RPG title in the works at Obsidian Entertainment and THQ.
