Friday The 13th The virtual cabin is coming back to Friday The 13th: The Game for all to enjoy and learn even more about the Friday The 13th franchise If you have been following along with Friday The 13th: The Game since back during its Kickstarter days, then you may remember the Virtual Cabin DLC that they had for backers when they were still looking for funding. It was a nice way to stay up to date on some of what IllFonic was working on as it housed looks at all of the Jason variations we would later get to play and was also supposed to be a hub for us to see and hear anything we collected during matches. Friday The 13th It looks like Friday The 13th: The Game will be getting another new Jason skin, Weather Effects, and another location from Friday The 13th's universe There looks to be yet another version of Jason coming to Friday The 13th: The Game as the team over at IllFonic has now shown a small glimpse of the version from the fourth film that is out there. It looks like Gun Media and IllFonic are going to be hooking up those fans who held out, somehow, on not getting it digitally back in May and still want to have the gaming experience. Friday The 13th: The Game It looks like Friday The 13th: The Game is getting some new updates here with new clothes and a retro skin from the Friday The 13th game from the '80s If you jumped in on the Friday The 13th: The Game bandwagon from the start, you may be one of those out there who were being plagued too much by server issues and glitches in the game to find the enjoyment. You may also have been one of those gamers out there who happened to understand the growing pains that Illfonic and Gun Media were going through and gave them some leeway with it all and just enjoyed what you had so far. Friday The 13th In Friday The 13th: The Game we will get an expanded story for the franchise & we get to see all of Friday The 13th's Jasons we will slay with If you've been following along with Friday The 13th: The Game fairly closely then it should come as no surprise that Illfonic has placed into the maps a few hidden little secrets to be found or dug up. Sure this could go towards all of the items and parts of the map that players could use to survive or kill each other in the maps, but what we are talking about are the hidden little gems that actually expand on the overall story of the franchise. Friday The 13th: The Game has finally been given a final release date for us all when it will not only hit the PC, but also the Xbox One and PS4. Friday The 13th We have another huge information dump for Friday The 13th: The Game that shows off the final versions of the counselors in Friday The 13th & other updates There is still no solid release date for Friday The 13th: The Game but that doesn't mean that the updates are going to stop rolling in at all. Friday The 13th It has just been announced that Friday The 13th: The Game will allow Jason the ability to use traps to further the horror of Friday The 13th matches We are supposed to be getting into the final stretch of Friday The 13th: The Game based on the update from last week, or at least that was the assumption based on Gun Media's thoughts of Early 2017, but that has not seemed to stop the updates and changes coming to the game. Last week we saw the new ability for Jason that Illfonic has put together for us, and now we get to see another addition to Jason to make him even deadlier. Friday The 13th During PAX East it was teased that Friday The 13th: The Game was changing up Jason's fourth ability to fit in line with Friday The 13th lore, and here it is One of the things a lot of people noticed during the Friday The 13th: The Game panel during PAX was that there was a new ability for Jason that had yet to be shown off and was different than what was in the beta test. People pointed it out and as is normal, Gun Media and Illfonic made note of it but then gave no new information of hints to it all. Friday The 13th New shot of Friday The 13th's counselors has been placed out there to give us a feel for who we will play in Friday The 13th that's not Jason It's been a wait but here we go with Friday The 13th: The Game getting some more time in the sun. No, we don't have a release date for everyone out there as it is still set for Early 2017, but what we do have is a look at all of the counselors in the game that Illfonic and Gun Media have crafted side-by-side. All ten of our victims counselors are no present for Friday The 13th and all filling their specific roles that have been placed out there for them. Friday The 13th During the PAX South panel Friday The 13th: The Game had some new changes shown off as well as a new Jason coming to Friday The 13th and other customization Just before PAX South we had a nice new trailer for Friday The 13th: The Game pop up and it showed off some new music and a new Jason mixed into the game now in terms of the Misfits and the Part 6 version of the character respectively. Of course if this was all that Gun Media had for us it would have been a bit pointless for them to have a solid panel down at the convention over the last weekend.
