Horizon Zero Dawn It has been announced that Horizon Zero Dawn has officially gone gold and it looks like the first Horizon Zero Dawn collector's edition has been unboxed There is no backing out now as Horizon Zero Dawn has been hit with the wonderful Gold Status that we love to hear about for our video games. All of which generally happens about a month out from launch and such is the case here as Guerrilla Games has given us all the thumbs up that the game is gold and getting printed to disks as you read this. Friday The 13th During the PAX South panel Friday The 13th: The Game had some new changes shown off as well as a new Jason coming to Friday The 13th and other customization Just before PAX South we had a nice new trailer for Friday The 13th: The Game pop up and it showed off some new music and a new Jason mixed into the game now in terms of the Misfits and the Part 6 version of the character respectively. Horizon Zero Dawn Some new gameplay for Horizon Zero Dawn has been placed out there that takes us through one of Horizon Zero Dawn's main quests while showing off other new features Today is the day that we start to get inundated with all kinds of Horizon Zero Dawn impressions and first looks. That is because the embargo has lifted for all of those other major outlets out there that had a chance to join Guerrilla Games as they showed off the latest build of the game on the PS4 just to get everyone even more hyped up for February 28th here. Of course that means that some will just be words and others just b-roll footage of Horizon Zero Dawn, but thankfully it looks like we have a new look at a main quest in the game right from the developers and it not only shows off how nice the game looks but also a few new features that have only been glossed over in the past so far. Horizon Zero Dawn A new cinematic trailer for Horizon Zero Dawn has been released to show off more story for Horizon Zero Dawn as well as enemies and allies Up until now we've pretty much seen the same bit of Horizon Zero Dawn over and over. We get Aloy running around and hunting in the same general section of the world that Guerrilla Games has put together for us and her to explore. I know I was personally getting a little tired of it and concerned for Horizon Zero Dawn as it looks like this was more or less the bread and butter of the game. Especially when we see that February 28th is quickly approaching and so little had been shown off for the game so far in terms of story, other parts of the world, and if there would be any other enemies and major NPCs for Aloy to interact with instead of the few that we've had since E3 of 2016. Horizon Zero Dawn A new batch of Horizon Zero Dawn screenshots have dropped as a nice gift before Horizon Zero Dawn and for the new year In just about two months now we will be getting to load up Horizon Zero Dawn on our PS4s and a lot of us couldn't be more excited. Not only does the game look great but it is a new IP from Guerrilla Games and we all know we need more of those as rehashing the same old will keep the industry truly stagnant. Killer Instinct A new look at how Killer Instinct's Thunder was redesigned from the ground up to give Killer Instinct a more traditional New Perce look and feel In a time when cultural insensitivity is at a high it is nice to see, even though unexpected, to see that Killer Instinct is trying to keep things traditional for fans of the game. Not in terms of gameplay and mechanics here as that is something that Iron Galaxy Studios is always working and tweaking for us but in the way that they have taken the Nez Perce character of Thunder and made him fit more with the traditions instead of what is thought to be traditions. Not only will it give us all a taste of what a closer to final version of the game will play like, even though we will be facing off against Illfonic who know all the little tricks in the game already, but we will finally be getting some solid explanations on how some of the gameplay mechanics work in the game. It's a classic story of world ends, girls grows up in it, and there are huge mechanical animals and dinosaurs roaming the planet that we have to deal with.
