Horizon Zero Dawn
We have a new look at another robot coming to Horizon Zero Dawn from the upcoming DLC and it will add some heat to Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds
Next week, November 7th will mark the day that the Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds expansion will be hitting the PS4 and we have had a lot of promises as to what will be coming to the game with this expansion. A lot of promises and very little in way of true details from Guerrilla Games on it. There will be new areas of the world to explore, new weapons, new story, and new enemies. All the things we love about Horizon Zero Dawn just set in a cooler climate and setting. The wait may be continuing until we can get our hands on the new expansion, but here we go with one of the new robots coming to the game in the way of The Scorcher.
It is not the cleverest of names, I will admit, but it is bringing us yet another fire-type to Horizon Zero Dawn that is based around quite a few predatory animals in the real world. Animals that are known to be able to not only strike fast, but keep the fast strikes coming to force us all to have to constantly be moving and striking back. At least that is how it all looks in the following trailer for this enemy. It does have the ability to rocket boost at Aloy here as well as a nice area of effect fire damage. All with, what looks like, small locations on its back that can actually stun the damned thing. This could be another formidable enemy here now that we look deeper at it.
Have a look for yourself here and see how the team advises to actually take it down. Then get ready to wait a few more days until Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds finally launches and we can see how much of a beast this thing is. It looks like the "attack it from range" option is going to be our friend here. AT least when we can…
Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds — Meet The Scorcher
Beyond the northern mountains, the borderlands of the Banuk tribe challenge all who dare enter to survive the extremes. But now this frozen wilderness harbors a new threat, including the new machine the Scorcher, a fast and tenacious machine with a damage output close to that of the Thunderjaw.
What are your thoughts on The Scorcher coming to us in Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds? Does it look like it will be a giant pain or just another creature in the background that we will need to just avoid? What else do you think will be coming at us in the new DLC here or is this the only large robot we will be facing off with? Let us have all of those fun thoughts down in the comments and then discuss. For more on Horizon Zero Dawn and any future DLC, be sure to stick around here. We will keep all of those updates coming right at you.
