Meet The Demons Of DOOM's Hell That Are Ready To Slay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 24th of March 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
DOOM On the heels of DOOM's multiplayer modes announcement we now have a look at the playable demons coming to DOOM in said multiplayer Here we go with yet another look at DOOM and its upcoming multiplayer. This time we have a good look at the demons that id Software have crafted for us to ruthlessly slaughter each other with in the game. Also some of those cool power ups and weapons that the non-demons in the game would be using to stay alive. If there wasn't some kind of balance to DOOM and its demons there would be no point to not play a demon after all. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of March 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Minecraft The release date for Minecraft: Story Mode's fifth episode has been revealed as well as where we can see this Minecraft franchise go in the near future After the events of Minecraft: Story Mode's last episode it was easy to think that there wasn't much else to do or go to in the story here. Telltale Games did kind of wrap up the really big issue and conflict in episode four but they also did promise that they were going to bring us a fifth episode for the story based around Mojang's IP. They are a company of their word and now we have the fifth episode of Minecraft: Story Mode's first season coming at us on March 29th now for all of the game's platforms. Read More...

The Walking Dead Season 3 Slated To Premiere Later This Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of March 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead In a recent interview it was revealed that The Walking Dead from Telltale will be getting a third season and build off where The Walking Dead left us all Hopefully you haven't given up on Clementine from The Walking Dead just yet as it turns out that we are getting a third season for the game and getting it before the end of the year. At least that is what has been stated in a recent interview with the CEO of Telltale Games. Hopefully you remember all of your previous choices and the story of The Walking Dead so far as it looks like the different endings we had to choose from will not be the true end of it all. DOOM Is Getting Some Classic & New Multiplayer Modes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of March 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
DOOM The six multiplayer modes for DOOM have been revealed and it includes two classic modes that DOOM fans will remember and four others to flesh it out We just had a good look at the multiplayer maps that were coming to DOOM and now it looks like we have a look at the modes of gameplay we will have when entering into said maps. That didn't take too long but it is not surprising given that the beta goes live here in about a week and Bethesda needs to get us all more jazzed. As if what id Software has put together already for DOOM hasn't been enough it looks like we have at least four more multiplayer modes that deviates from the basics we would have all expected. This Week In Video Games 3/14/16 — 3/18/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of March 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This has been one crazy week for video games hasn't it? We had a whole load of new rumors fly out there and some huge announcements. Could we be getting Red Dead Redemption 2 and a BioShock Collection or is that just wishful thinking? How about the price announcement for the PlayStation VR that came out and then was followed up by a bundle that still greatly undercuts the competition in terms of price. Hells, we also had a nice review for the first episode of Hitman land out there for you. Read More...

Get A Look At DOOM's Nine Unique Multiplayer Maps
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of March 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
DOOM A new video for DOOM has been released and this one shows off nine of the maps that will be included in DOOM's multiplayer during the beta & at launch The multiplayer beta for DOOM is only a few weeks out now and we haven't yet been able to see the maps that we will be killing each other on. This could be a good ploy by Bethesda to keep us all on our toes or it could be that id Software is still wrapping up a build just for the beta and they aren't done yet. Looks like whatever the case was before it is no longer the case as now we have a nice quick look at the nine maps coming to DOOM and that will be available to play when the beta goes live on March 31st for everyone lucky enough to be in on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Walking Dead: Michonne Will Be Giving No Shelter By End Of March
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of March 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead A release date for The Walking Dead: Michonne's second episode has been set and we get a nice look at all the choices made in The Walking Dead: Michonne so far & how they played out Last we saw as The Walking Dead: Michonne's first episode was released after a lot of anticipation. For the most part my gripes about it were on the nitpick side of things and the big issue I had was that I had to wait to play episode two. Thankfully it looks like Telltale Games is keeping to their loose release schedule and we are now going to see the continued adventures of The Walking Dead here by the end of the month. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 3/7/16 — 3/11/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 12th of March 2016 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There we go with another week of video games in the bag. It was a bit more on the slow side given the proximity to GDC but that doesn't mean there wasn't much to see and experience in gaming. We had more to look at for Vampyr and we have more to look forward to for Portal. We are all prepped for DOOM's beta that is upcoming and it looks like Overwatch will be entering an early access as well. Like I said, all kind of news and updates on this slow week for video games. Thief Movie Is One The Horizon As The Rights Are Claimed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of March 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Thief The rights to do a Thief movie have been claimed and it looks like we are on the path to actually see Thief on the silver screen Rumors and murmured words have been flying around lately that we are going to be getting a Thief movie. That would be a film based on the video game franchise that Eidos-Montréal has crafted and not another movie about random people stealing things for fun. Well I guess a Thief movie would fall into that vein of thinking but that isn't the goal here. It is all about bringing the moderately received reboot to the franchise to the silver screen and now we have confirmation from Square Enix that someone wants to do it. Read More...

DOOM's Multiplayer Closed Beta Is Taking Us To Hell & Back
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of March 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
DOOM The dates for DOOM's multiplayer closed beta have been confirmed and it looks like fans of DOOM will be slaying each other in Hell very soon Looks like we all will be entering the brutal world of DOOM here soon as the multiplayer beta is only a few weeks out now. We are talking like a few weeks as it is currently slated to run from March 31st to April 3rd. At least if you picked up id Software's earlier title Wolfenstein: The New Order as it looks like Bethesda isn't fully ready to open the floodgates for DOOM's multiplayer to the world just yet. At least they are trying to work out some of the bugs earlier on than the week before unlike some other recent titles… As with all of these kinds of things this isn't going to be the full multiplayer mode coming to DOOM when it launches on May 13th. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of March 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Everything A new title, Everything, has been announced with the key feature of allowing players to play as everything in the game to let us have a better view from other perspectives Just when you thought that having multiple characters in a video game was getting out of hand we get introduced to Everything. That would be the game title of the next title that David OReilly and team are working on. As the name implies, and as I have alluded to, you will be able to take control of pretty much anything you can see and play as it in the game world. Read More...

Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There goes another fun week in video games in the bag now. Again it had its high and its lows but we made it through. Of course that did mean that we had to watch as Uncharted 4 got hit with yet another delay and only a few sparse details for Vampyr. It did also mean that we got to see more cool kills for Friday The 13th: The Game and a huge collector's edition for Homefront: the Revolution get announced. Like I said, it had its highs and it had its lows. Read More...
