Hands-On — Sol Raiders
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of February 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Sol Raiders During a recent event, I was able to take on Sol Raiders in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Sol Raiders. When one thinks of eSports you generally navigate to the thought of a bunch of people sitting around gaming systems and using their skills with a mouse and keyboard to win the day. This could all be changing as we insert Sol Raiders via Zero Latency VR to the mix. This would be a new experience for the locations around the world that not only let gamers have fun in a warehouse-scale VR environment but also allows teams to go head to head as we would expect in a sports arena. Run & Hide As We Have Gameplay For Intruders: Hide And Seek
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of February 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
Intruders New gameplay for Intruders: Hide And Seek is here to show off how the game is going to look as you hide from the Intruders in VR We have not had much in the way of gameplay for Intruders: Hide And Seek before now. Something that feels a bit off as we are on the cusp of release for the game. It is still hitting the PS4 and PC on February 13th and there is still a lot shrouded from Tessera Studios on the game. This could be a good thing to leave some of the surprises out there for Intruders: Hide And Seek, but it does not do much in terms of getting more people interested in this VR title. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Darksiders Warmastered Edition Is Looking To Switch Things Up
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 31st of January 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Darksiders The Darksiders Warmastered Edition is poised to head to the Switch now bringing the Darksiders fun to even more of the world it has destroyed There were sightings of this yesterday but now it is official that the Darksiders Warmastered Edition is now heading to the Nintendo Switch. Now that system will be able to enjoy an amazing franchise's start instead of watching the rest of the gaming world out there move past its third title. Not that this is a bad move on the part of THQ Nordic in the least bit, it just feels like it is a bit removed from the releases on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC by so much. This could be me though. Spider-Man Is Donning Even More Suits In The World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 29th of January 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
Spider-Man Two more suits for Spider-Man have been added and it is to celebrate the times Spider-Man has worked with the Fantastic Four In the mix of all of the new and anticipated titles coming out it can be easy to forget things for Spider-Man on the PS4. That game has had an amazing run so far and, as it turns out, Insomniac Games is not done with it just yet. No, we are not getting any new DLC for story or missions as of now. We are still getting more suits for Spider-Man to wear in the game for when we have the chance to dive back in and give that New Game+ a go or try to finalize all of the collectibles and side missions in the game. The Resident Evil 2 Remake Throwing In Some Ghost Survivors Post-Launch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of January 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Resident Evil During a launch event for the Resident Evil 2 Remake it was announced that we would be seeing a new mode mixed in as well as some classic Resident Evil 2 costumes With just a few days out from launching here in the NA region, we have a new update coming to the Resident Evil 2 Remake to bring us even more replay factor for the game. Given time zones and other factors, the game is out in Japan and Capcom held a nice long live event to show off the game and bring us these announcements. Of course, this could all just be for the Japanese market but I am sure that we will see this new Ghost Survivors mode for the other version of Resident Evil 2 out there. Read More...

The Next DLC For Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Looks Nightmarish
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of January 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider Shadow Of The Tomb Raider's next DLC has been dated and it looks like this Tomb Raider addition will go a bit darker than expected The fourth DLC for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider has been announced and dated here and it is called The Nightmare. A very ominous sounding bit of DLC for Eidos-Montréal to pump out there, but still very fitting with the franchise. At least as I see it. It could be a lot different when we actually get to play it next week on January 22nd, but for now, we will go with what we know. Read More...

Intruders: Hide And Seek Finds A New Home On PSVR Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of January 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Intruders The release date for Intruders: Hide And Seek has been set for the PSVR side of things with word that Intruders will also hit the PC realm in the future There seems to be a whole lot of horror coming to VR here now and Intruders: Hide And Seek is the next up to bat for the PSVR. At least as of February 13th as that is when Daedalic is bringing Tessera Studios' title to the platform. Well ahead of the PC version of it all coming in 2020. For now we will just focus on what Intruders: Hide And Seek is and what to expect here in a few weeks than to speculate on when it will be out for more of the masses. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 1/7/19 — 1/11/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 12th of January 2019 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with another week of video games in the bag. There was sure a whole hells of a lot for Metro Exodus this week huh? Not to be outshined by Resident Evil 2 or Anthem but it sure took the highlight quite often. All during CES week at that something that should have had more for us and our video games, but seemed to be a bit on the lighter side for those not looking for a new screen or expensive PC parts. That is at least my hot and fast takeaway on that. Read More...

The Demo Trailer For The Resident Evil 2 Remake Is Out There
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of January 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Resident Evil The trailer teased to be at the end of the Resident Evil 2 Remake demo is here and it shows more characters coming to this version of Resident Evil 2 That did not take long as the 1-shot demo for the Resident Evil 2 Remake has not even fully dropped yet and the trailer for those who beat it is already out on the net. I have a feeling Capcom saw this coming, but it does kind of defeat the need for some out there to actually play the little demo in a true way. Now they can watch this trailer and not worry if they are able to beat it in under thirty minutes to see it. Read More...
