Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is not fully over for most of the community out there, but we have to call it a short week here. It was a slow week, for the most part, and we had a few video games get the highlight but it did feel like slim pickings up until today with the Resident Evil showcase here. There was a bit more for Final Fantasy VII Remake and Returnal, but there have been more rumors and speculations out there more than anything. Hood The fourth character for Hood: Outlaws & Legends is out there with the Mystic bringing some of the religion into Hood in general Things are getting a little more magical in Hood: Outlaws & Legends with the showing of the final character class we will have to play in the game. Well, magical is a bit of a misnomer as it does look like Sumo Newcastle is still trying to keep things a bit more grounded and the Mystic is using more of the natural things to explain some of the magic out there. All of which by inhaling incense or tossing out an inhaled poison to mess with all of the minds out there in the matches. Hood The next character for Hood: Outlaws & Legends is here with the Brawler and another classic from the Robin Hood mythology It was easy to assume that this was going to be Lil' John here for Hood: Outlaws & Legends as the Brawler class and now we have a solid showing that is going to be the case. That is all based on the latest character showcase that we have here from Sumo Newcastle to give us the third class of fighters. One, that as the name implies, is all about brute force and melee combat in Hood while everyone else is out there doing the more subtle aspects of the matches. Read More...

Hood The next class for Hood: Outlaws & Legends is the hunter and this is the one that seems to have Hood crossover into other games we have loved The Hunter is out there now for Hood: Outlaws & Legends as the second class in the game is given the breakdown and gameplay to offer up. Last week we had the Ranger that was lined to Robin and now it looks like Sumo Newcastle is linking the Hunter to Marianne. That and a class that feels like it is bringing an assassin style class into Hood. Given that this is going to be a multiplayer heist game, it makes sense from the start, but also when you look at the various character classes Sumo Newcastle is offering up there will be some expectation. Hood The release date for Hood: Outlaws & Legends is now set down with pre-order allowing early access to Hood a few days early There is now a date set for when we can expect to head into the world of Hood: Outlaws & Legends to try to be the best thief team as possible. That date set down as May 10th for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC from Sumo Newcastle. A little bit of a wait for us to go through, sure, but it is something to look forward to if you have been pining for a game in this vein. Assassin's Creed A new comparison video for Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection has popped up to show us just how much better the past Assassin's Creed titles will look now Next week we will see the Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection finally hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Outside of words and a small announcement for the bundle though Ubisoft has yet to really show us the work that has gone into the games that will be coming in the bundle. Sure, Assassin's Creed 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations looked great for their time and we would expect by November 15th that there would be vast improvements to the games; we have just yet to see them. Assassin's Creed It looks like there will be some Assassin's Creed this year as Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection has been officially announced for November Not too long ago we caught wind that Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection was in the works and most likely coming out this year for the PS4 and Xbox One. This would keep Ubisoft in line to have a release for the franchise every year even if it wasn't a whole new entry. Woolfe: The Redhood Diaries to be at Gamescom and playable in the consumer area for the first time to the public If Woolfe: The Redhood Diaries sounds familiar but you can't place your finger on it, it was showcased during the ID@Xbox montage during the Microsoft press conference on June 9th. Some of you may have heard about the game before that, have a free cookie, but to the public at large that was one of the largest showcasing of the game to date. It was announced a little under a year ago so it is pretty cool for the developers to get the showing at E3 and now Woolfe is getting a nice playable version at Gamescom. That might not be all that cool for a lot of us who will not be able to make the adventure to Gamescom, assuming most of my readers are in the North American region of course, but that does mean that we will be seeing more video from Woolfe: The Redhood Diaries soon.
