There will be some out there tomorrow, May 7th, that will be able to join in the fun of Hood: Outlaws & Legends just a bit earlier than the rest of the community out there. That would be the group of gamers that opted to pre-order the game from Sumo Digital and wanted a few days of a head start out there. The rest of us will need to wait a few more days to get all the way in. All of this point to the fact that we now have one more push to get more gamers' interest in Hood and then joining in the early play of it all. All in an extremely nice showing of how epic some of the matches could play out when both teams are ready to go all-in on the score and kill everyone else that is in the way.
That all said, do take what you are about to see with a bit of salt as this is a lot of sizzle to help sell Hood a bit more, and I am not talking with the wonderful transitions and everything mixed in. It looks like there is a lot of order to the chaos of the match and we all know that will not be the case when things go live for us all. Sure, there might be some coordination but this is not going to be close to how any of the plays out as I can see it. It is interesting to note that this does look like it was recorded in-engine for Hood, though. I mention that since it does look like you can see the clipping happen when ammo is reloaded and a few other spots where a full cinematic would have taken the time to render it all out. I might be wrong, but this could be a bit closer than expected if we are able to get a perfect hunting group together for a game.
Hood: Outlaws & Legends — We Are Legends
Hood: Outlaws & Legends, the multiplayer PvPvE heist game from Sumo Digital and Focus Home Interactive is playable in a few hours on May 7th for all pre-order players, in anticipation of its official release on May 10th! Matchmaking in opposing teams of four, choose your character based on your preferred playstyle, or what best fits your team’s strategy - cooperation is key for victory in Hood’s nail-biting heists. Watch today’s “We Are Legends” trailer and join the action with your gang of outlaws!
Will you be joining in on the heists as of tomorrow or will you be holding off on Hood for a short while? How buggy do you think the launch will be, given that it is an online multiplayer, or do you think they will have more of the kinks ironed out by now? Do you think it is a bit far-fetched to expect the matches to play out this way or could this all be from a match that had some wonderful transitions mixed right in? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all if you so wish to do so. When there is more to share for Hood: Outlaws & Legends, know it will all be here for you. All you need to do is keep checking back in for all of that and everything else along the way.
