In Gears of War 2 news, the people of Epic seem to really understand their audience. Epic loves us for exactly what we are, a bunch of achievement whores. Now while some people may be above spending time going through games solely to raise their gamer score, most of us are not. Epic has created a whole new type of achievement system, called "linked" achievements. Linked Achievements occur when someone obtains an achievement in the first game(Gears of War), this then unlocks new content in the second game(Gears of War 2). Sony Combines Zombies And... Google Earth So here's a fun sounding idea. You take zombies and cities. You plot them out on a map. Then you use Google Earth to save all the people who were not ready for Z-Day. Brilliance! And it is call The Last Guy. Sounds a bit like playing Infected only using the top down map view, but still, it is a great idea. Could really help you finalize your zombie plan in your own town. This past Thursday saw the release of a brand new costume pack for Hot Shots Golf 5 (Minna No Golf 5 in Japan).  For 600 Yen (approx. $6 U.S.), you can have 5 new sets for your existing characters. They include a ninja costume that resembles Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden and DOA fame, two Street Fighter knockoffs resembling Chun Li & Ryu, and finally a Sailor Boy and Baseball Player  costumes.  Each costume has 2 different color schemes to them.  This is the 2nd pack released of costumes in Japan, and I would expect both to be released in the states by the end of the year. Kratos Is Back: God of War 3 To Be Shown At E3 Ok, so the title may be a little misleading, but that was lifted straight from the english source for this tid bit. Rise of the Argonauts So I swear I heard about this over a year ago. I could be wrong. Or I could be right. In either instance, this game looks like it could be epic. Pun intended as always. This game is suppose to be a pretty close telling of the Greek Legends of yore, with a little new world twist to get a broader audience than freaks like me who are all about the Greek stories.
