This Week In Video Games 7/11/16 — 7/15/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of July 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games This week seemed to drag on but luckily we had all kinds of video games and all their news to keep us entertained and moving forward. That isn't to say that we didn't have some cool things come out like the new stuff for No Man's Sky and Call Of Duty. Then we had the flip flop on the Batman franchise although both of the video games in question there were from different developers. I guess it's best to get all of that out before SDCC this year as that kicks off next week and I am sure we're going to see a whole lot more out there during that event. Read More...

Paragon The new character for Paragon has been added to the list now let's have a look at Greystone from Paragon in a little more detail Earlier on we had word on the new character coming to Paragon with the most recent update to the game. That would be an update that Epic Games pushed out to the PS4 and PC versions of the game yesterday for those wonder. His name is Greystone and he brings a bit of a new way to go about matches for Paragon on both sides of the coin. We had a quick and easy breakdown for him before but that all ends as we have yet another closer and better look at the character. Read More...

Paragon's Next Hero Is About To Join The Fight To Die
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of July 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Paragon The next hero to join Paragon is Greystone and we get to see him fight and die in Paragon only to come back and save the day The next and newest hero to come to Paragon has just been shown off and slated to come with the July 12th update for the game. I've said it before but it looks like Epic Games is really keeping to their schedule and now we have so many more characters on the list since the initial five we were shown back during the announcement of the game. I am curious when it will stop but for now we get to see Paragon's Greystone who is joining the fight on the battle field. Not only that but bringing something we've yet to see in the game. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of June 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games That was another intensive week in video games now wasn't it? We are all still dealing with the aftermath of E3 this year as there was just so many video games we didn't get to fully cover last week and there are still more to come. It doesn't help when more on games like God Of War and Final Fantasy XV come out when trying to play catch up and everything. The God Of War Demo Had A Lot More In It Than We Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of June 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
God Of War A new look at the God Of War demo out of E3 has been release where a few of the God Of War developers explain more on the game than we saw live Last week the world was given a great surprise in terms of the new God Of War being shown off at E3. A lot of questions obviously popped up due to all of this but Santa Monica Studios was very tight lipped about every aspect of the game that we couldn't physically see in the demo. Believe me I tried and the closest little extra I got for God Of War was the fact that they are not ignoring anything from his past but are doing a solid continuation. That and it will of course be on the PS4 but that is all stuff that we could have just made a solid assumption on given the state of everything. Read More...

E3 2016 Impressions — LEGO Dimensions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of June 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
LEGO Dimensions While at E3 I was able to see LEGO Dimensions in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on LEGO Dimensions When I first stepped into the very cushiony area to check out what was coming to LEGO Dimensions I was half expecting it to be something akin to all of the other toys-to-life genre titles in the way of a new disc and new toys to purchase. Of course with how TT Games has had everything set up it could have gone either way or at least the way that Warner Bros. would have wanted. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 6/13/16 — 6/17/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of June 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games Holy hells this was one intense week in video games now wasn't it? Of course with E3 taking place we had a lot to look out for and man did we get a whole lot of new information and new titles coming our way. I knew we would get to see something from God Of War but didn't expect to have seen Resident Evil 7 in the mix. I thought the most of the horror I was going to see was going to be from Friday The 13th: The Game. Read More...

God Of War Is Back And It Doesn’t Look Like The One We Are Use To
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of June 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
God Of War At E3 2016 the new God Of War title was revealed with gameplay and it looks to shake up the God Of War franchise in a good way If you watched last night’s press conference then you should know that God Of War has a new title coming to the franchise and it looks like all of the rumors were true. In this go of it it looks like Santa Monica Studios is taking Kratos into the Norse mythology as the rumors from before had us all thinking. Pretty cool but we also had a solid look at actual gameplay for the new God Of War in almost a whole ten minutes with a few extra tidbits revealed along with it. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of June 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This was a rough week, personally, but at least we had a whole lot of video games to keep everything flowing. We had a few confirmations like Watch Dogs 2 and Injustice 2 coming for E3 next week and we also had some great updates to other titles like XCOM 2 and Call Of Cthulu. This is also just the tip of the ice berg that will be the reveals and updates for video games though as we will be flushed with many more here in short order. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of June 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Paragon The new physical edition of Paragon has been released and will let players hop into the Paragon fun with a whole slew of extras in tow If you are still not into the digital age but wanted to get your hands on Paragon during all of the Beta hullabaloo then you need to know that now you can. Right now you can head on out to your favorite retailer and pick up the new Essentials Edition of the game that Epic Games has put together for you and it will give you solid access into the current running beta and a whole slew of other things. Seems odd to have to physically purchase Paragon given how everything is digital now but I guess some of you PC and PS4 players out there are still on the hold-out bench and need to have a plethora of options still. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of June 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games One more week of video games in the bag and it's time to look onward and upward. It was a shorter week in gaming for certain but that doesn't mean it was left barren like next week most likely will be as we prep for E3. Hopefully we'll hear and see more on Final Fantasy XV before the next big update at the show. Or a bit more on Agony and Hellblade. Read More...
