Your Choices In The Walking Dead: A New Frontier Matter More Than We Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead A new look at the choices of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier that we've experienced is here just before the last episode of The Walking Dead's finale episode of the season As the next and last episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's season comes at us, it looks like it is a bit of time to look back at the season so far and some of the big choices we've had to make during the run of the season. While it still has a lot to do to be one of my favorite Telltale Games to date, they sure have crafted a fun experience that deviates perfectly from the comics and previous seasons to keep us all guessing and wanting to see more of the human experience in this way. Especially with family and all of the madness that goes with it being one of the core factors in The Walking Dead: A New Frontier it looks to be something great. Read More...

Red Dead Redemption 2 Is Moseying On Into 2018 Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Red Dead Redemption 2 It looks like Red Dead Redemption 2 will now release in 2018 but we do have some new Red Dead Redemption 2 screenshots to gaze at We all hate delays but sometimes it is for the better and hopefully that will be the case here for Red Dead Redemption 2 as it has now been hit with a delay. Even though there wasn't a release date specifically set for the game, Rockstar Games did state that they were aiming to get the game out on the PS4 and Xbox One by this Fall. Now the wait will be a little bit longer as Red Dead Redemption 2 will not be coming to us until sometime in Spring of 2018. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/15/17 — 5/19/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of May 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week What a week in video games this has been. I personally thought that it was going to be another of the slow weeks given the proximity of the big E3 just about to hit us but then all of those developers and publishers opted to hit us with some really great stuff. I'm still reeling in the fact that South Park: The Fractured But Whole has an official release date and that we will be seeing the next Assassin's Creed title before the end of the fiscal year. Not only that, but we some a huge leap forward for video games with Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and we also managed to get our review out for The Surge here as well. Read More...

We Have New Darksiders III Concept Art & How The Game Has Evolved
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Darksiders More updates on Darksiders III have been revealed alongside some new, amazing looking Darksiders III concept art to flesh out the world We had some interesting updates for Darksiders III earlier in the week and here we go again with even more. Not only more but a whole lot of new looks at the game and just how Gunfire Games has taken the original franchise from THQ Nordic and altered it and evolved it into something fitting for the current generation of gamers but to keep up with the changing times. That and we have a look at more concept art for Darksiders III to give us a clue into what we could expect when the game does launch on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Hopefully sometime this year, but that date still needs to be worked out before we can confirm anything. Read More...

The Walking Dead The date for the final episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier’s first season will be on us faster than a zombie from The Walking Dead It's funny to say now, but it seems not too long ago that The Walking Dead: A New Frontier season just kicked off and started to flow, but here we are with the final episode of the season about to come at us. It's been a fun roller coaster of events and twists in this latest outing from Telltale Games and now we are wrapping it up. Darksiders III's Gameplay Gets A Bit More Of An Explanation
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Darksiders Recently we had some gameplay for Darksiders III to look at and now we have some context for what it all means for Darksiders III and moving forward A little while back we had the announcement for Darksiders III and that was followed up pretty quickly with some of the first gameplay footage for the game to show it all off more than a cinematic trailer. While it was good to see where Gunfire Games was at with the game, it was not given much context and left a lot of things out there that, in my opinion, seemed to harm the franchise. The colors, art, and the combat for Darksiders III seemed to deviate from what we all know already and showed a bit of what THQ Nordic was paying for here. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/8/17 — 5/12/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of May 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with yet another pretty solid week for video games with its own ups and downs to be taken in. I think some of the bigger things had to be all of the Assassin's Creed leaks and rumors out there, but we also go to see quite a bit more for Injustice 2. I'm sure we are all excited to just get to play that game now so we can focus on other video games to come. Agents Of Mayhem and Absolver need some love out there so we can stop with the dominating of the news for a bit after next week. Read More...

Paragon Phases In Another Character To Punk All Of Your Opponents
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Paragon The next character to join the fight of Paragon has been shown off and looks to add a lot of flair to Paragon in the coming week There has been so much going on in gaming recently that I've almost forgot about Paragon and all of the new heroes that are coming to the game. Here we are with yet another on that is coming to the game here on May 16th and she looks to add a whole lot of flair to Epic Games' MOBA title on the PC and PS4. At least as much flair that we can expect in Paragon but it does look like a page was taken from the most recent inFAMOUS title when it comes to powers and abilities. At least if you go with the neon powers and all of that stuff that comes with it. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/1/17 — 5/5/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of May 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was one of the more exciting weeks for video games that we've had in quite some time now wasn't it? I know it was for me as we had a whole lot get shown off this week and we also had Darksiders III get an official announcement out there. We also had a lot more hype for Friday The 13th: The Game and a look at the full roster for Injustice 2 and some of the new DLC that will be coming for it. All of that and a few reviews for a few video games that have made a whole lot of page space on the site here over the last few months and years. Read More...

Review — Guardians Of The Galaxy — Tangled Up In Blue
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Guardians Of The Galaxy We sit down and review Guardians Of The Galaxy — Tangled Up In Blue. This is the first episode of Telltale's version of Guardians Of The Galaxy. Here's our review on how they did With Guardians Of The Galaxy being the big thing right now in the Marvel film universe, it makes sense that we would see the first episode of the new episodic game release here to add to the whole experience. It is not linked to the film or comics, outside of the basics, and is completely something from Telltale Games for us to experience and have fun with before, after, and for a while after we catch the film. We do only have the first episode of this Guardians Of The Galaxy experience so far, but we've had our chance to give it all a whirl and see just how they did. Read More...

Darksiders III Shows How Fury Can Get Rid Of Sloth
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Darksiders New gameplay for Darksiders III has just been shown off and it gives us a look at how Darksiders III has progressed from the past titles Earlier in the week we saw that Darksiders III was going to be a thing like many of us had hoped. Usually when it comes to game reveals that is where everything is left and then we have to wait a bit to actually see any real gameplay. At least when we all get a reveal like we did for Darksiders III that only held a cinematic trailer and nothing else. It looks like Gunfire Games is going to skip that usual procession as now we have some gameplay to gaze upon as we wait for the THQ Nordic to give us the full release sometime next year. Read More...

Space Hulk: Deathwing Is Getting An Enhanced Edition For Consoles In Q4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Space Hulk While Space Hulk: Deathwing may have released on PCs already, the wait for the console version of Space Hulk: Deathwing continues but will be getting big enhancements Since Space Hulk: Deathwing launched near the end of last year on the PC it has been met with a few mixed reviews but still seems to be holding strong with the core fans of the universe. Something I am going to guess is to the pleasure of Streum On Studio as they are still working on the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game so that even more fans can have access to it. I was under the assumption a while ago that Space Hulk: Deathwing was going to hit all platforms at the same time and was a bit let down that it missed the mark. Read More...

Call Of Duty: WWII Had A Huge Reveal & Here's A Breakdown
by Duke Searles [ Wednesday, 3rd of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty We've had the official Call Of Duty: WWII reveal but that wasn't the only thing shown off for Call Of Duty and it looks like more zombies Last week we all had a nice showing of Call Of Duty: WWII with the huge reveal event that showed us just how Sledgehammer Games was going to take the franchise back it its roots and era that started it all. We had an amazing trailer shown off, you can see it below, and a lot of praise thrown around but also mixed in were quite a few other tidbits that may have been glossed over or missed. I'm sure Activision doesn't want that to have happened and that is why I am here to bring you what we know for Call Of Duty: WWII right now and up until November 3rd when the game will land on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC around the world. It Is Time To Release Your Fury As Darksiders III Is Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Darksiders Darksiders III has been officially announced after many Darksiders III leaks popped up in preparation for the full reveal of the game All of those hopes and prayers have been answered as Darksiders III has just been announced by THQ Nordic and is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2018. Yes, this is not a drill or more wishful thinking based on the remasters we saw recently from Gunfire Games and such. I am sure that both remasters of the other Darksiders titles help push this along, but now we have it and now we have to wait. Read More...
