This Is WWII Like We Have Never Seen Before In Battlefield V
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of September 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Battlefield Have a new rundown of Battlefield V and all of the modes we will be playing and discovering when this Battlefield game finally launches The wait for Battlefield V may have been made a little longer here recently, but it looks like we have something that should take the edge off of that a little bit. Not as much as EA surprise dropping the game on us, but it is a new look at a plethora of the new and old modes coming back to the game. We also get to see just how the single-player mode of Battlefield V will play out and focus on a whole lot of rarely told stories from WWII. Read More...

Join In On The Devastation Of Rotterdam In Battlefield V
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of August 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Battlefield A new look at Battlefield V is here before Gamescom to show us a new location we will be running and gunning around in Battlefield V Gamescom may still be a little ways out, but that will not stop us from getting trailers early-ish as we have here for Battlefield V. It is usually how it always is for these kinds of things to get us all pumped to stand in lines to play the next subsection DICE has for us for the game wherever EA is showing it off at. You should know how it is now and it will continue for Battlefield V until October 11th when we all will be playing it and the teams move on to the downloadable content, updates, and the inevitable next title in the franchise launching next year. Unless they choose to take an extra year to make a bigger game for us all. Read More...

The Closed Alpha For Battlefield V Has Kicked Off & Here Is A Look At It
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Battlefield Footage from the closed alpha of Battlefield V is here and it gives us all a look at the current state of Battlefield V and its operations It looks like the closed alpha for Battlefield V is now in full swing and that means we have a whole lot more to look at the game in terms of gameplay here. At least for those who were not lucky enough to swag one of these keys as of yet and still want to see how DICE has changed up the franchise and set things up for the new title. I am sure that this number will dwindle given how things normally go, but if EA holds out more of those keys for those who pre-order Battlefield V, this may be one of the few ways to see how the game has progressed. Battlefield V Has Been Revealed & Promises To Give Us Things We Have Yet To Experience
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 24th of May 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Battlefield The official Battlefield V reveal event has come and gone and now we have our first look at what Battlefield V will have to offer us Yesterday we finally had our official reveal for Battlefield V and with it came some of the first gameplay and a whole lot of promises. The big one given to us that I am sure DICE wants us to focus on is that we will have a new look at WWII that we have yet to experience before. A lofty claim given that we have had so many other installments into the WWII era and some of them from the Battlefield franchise already. Given how well the last one did in WWI, though, it does feel like a claim that we could be seeing come to light on October 19th when the game hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

Battlefield V Has Been Officially Announced With A Reveal Next Week
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of May 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Battlefield It has been officially revealed that Battlefield V will be the next game in the Battlefield line and we will have a live reveal next week The headline here kind of says it all, but Battlefield V has been set as the official name for the next entry into the franchise with EA and DICE setting up a live event where the game will be shown off for the first time. I wish there was more to officially state for this reveal, but that is about the extent of what we have been given in terms of details and we will have to wait until May 23rd for Trevor Noah to give us more of the skinny. Him and some of the actual developers for Battlefield V will be giving us those details, but obviously the larger performer is what they are trying to use as the pull for us fans of the franchise and non-fans of the franchise. Battlefield 1 Couldn't Recreate The Real World Christmas Truce In The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Battlefield 1 It looks like the real word comparison to Battlefield 1 has ended for now as Battlefield 1 players fail to recreate the Christmas Truce of WWI The time has come and gone and it looks like Battlefield 1 players just couldn't hold back their killing urges long enough to try and recreate the great Christmas Truce of WWI. At least not on their own as it could have been forced by DICE and EA but it was not and only boiled down to some players trying to recreate it all as well as Battlefield 1 has been trying to do in general. It seems the killing of soldiers was more fun in a game about doing that all the other times of year than standing by and not doing that for a single day. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/10/16 — 10/14/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of October 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site And thus completes our week in video games. Well more the week in news and updates about games but I'm sure you get the point by now. We've been all over the place here again as we had some amazing updates for Friday The 13th and Battlefield 1. We also were able to see how fast both Hitman and King's Quest could be on getting out their next and final episodes and that is not to exclude the fact that Batman is getting another so quick as well. All kinds of great updates for our video games even if some of them seemed to be a bit basic in the end. Read More...

Take To The Skies Of Battlefield 1 On The Majestic Wings Of A… Pigeon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Battlefield 1 Details on a new mission for Battlefield 1 show that we will be playing a portion of Battlefield 1 as a pigeon to save the day We've seen some great things for Battlefield 1 so far and I know I am hyped for EA to release the game on October 21st but we have yet another mission to look at for the game and it may not be what you think. Some are questioning the minds over at DICE for this but it looks like we have a small mission mixed in where we play as a pigeon in the middle of the fire fight. That's right, Battlefield 1 will have playable pigeons in the game and it makes sense. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/3/16 — 10/7/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of October 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games Thus concludes yet another fun week in video games. It was all over the place from the look of things but we were there every step of the way to make sure that we were able to cover everything. Or at least as much as we could get to during the week. It was sad to see that Styx was hit with a delay but getting to try out Outlast 2 for the next month made up for it all. Read More...

You Are Not Expected To Survive Battlefield 1's First 12 Minutes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Battlefield 1 The first twelve minutes of Battlefield 1 have been released and it looks like Battlefield 1 is redefining how the war shooter plays out Last week we had a small showing of how Battlefield 1's campaign will play out as well as a few details on all of that. If you don't remember, DICE is taking a different path for the story and not having us follow one person or team along a path during WWI. This kind of shocked a few people out there but EA has put a lot of cash into Battlefield 1 and with its launch on October 21st here is seemed like an odd thing to hold onto up to now. Of course, many people don't look to the franchise for the campaign but it is a thing and it was very odd to hear. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 9/26/16 — 9/30/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of September 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games One more week in the world of video games is in the bag yet again. Oddly this week started out a bit slow on the news side of things and then it seemed like everything exploded onto the scene shortly after. We had plenty of Mafia 3 to cover yet again and other, smaller video games like Sundered and Here They Lie get mixed into it all. Not to mention a review for the latest episode of Batman from Telltale. Read More...
