Modern Warfare 3 May Have Been A Hoax, But Battlefield 3 Is Not
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of March 2011 - 06:36 PM ]
So while the Modern Warfare 3 counter was technically a hoax, the rumors that EA was going to bring something to GDC for the announced Battlefield 3 were not. In fact EA brought with them a little bit of game play for all of the FPS fans out there to gush over and whine about how long the wait for the game is going to be. If you just got offended by that, odds are you just thought how long the wait is going to be. Don't lie. Read More...

Review: Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (Single Player)
by Michael Camacho [ Friday, 12th of March 2010 - 12:00 AM ]
"B" Squad, AKA Bad Company, is back! EA and DICE have returned with a much improved sequel with Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Hope you are ready for the next mission filled with more explosions, more destruction, and even more laughs. You return as Preston Marlowe, along with your entire squad from the first game, consisting of Terrance Sweetwater, George Haggard, and Samuel "Sarge" Redford. But before you get to play the games from the eyes of Private Marlowe, the game takes you on a trip to the past. You begin in Japan on a mission set during World War II. Read More...

In Corollary To Real Warfare
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of July 2009 - 07:43 PM ]
Battlefield 1943 Launch Trailer A few things have happened in the world over the last week or two. Outside of "famous" people loosing their mortal coil. We've celebrated our freedom, US at least. We've lost some more people who give us our freedoms. We've gained a game that lets a simulate what people have gone through to give us these freedoms. That game being Battlefield 1943. Well at least console gamers have gained the game. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of June 2009 - 07:49 PM ]
Chance for some 1943 Want a chance to get your grubby mitts on some Battlefield 1943 for the platform of your choice? Have a digital camera and minor photoshop skills? Have access and the testicular fortitude to force a GameStop employee to take a picture with you while holding a game in your hands? Then does Dice and EA have a challenge for you to get 1943 in your hands. Run through the games Official Twitter page and their actual home page, they are giving that chance I talked about. E3 Impressions: Battlefield Bad Company 2
by Ben Brody [ Sunday, 7th of June 2009 - 06:29 PM ]
The boys from Bad Company are back and are in even more trouble as they face off in the cold Russian winter. While the focus of the Battlefield Bad Company series is certainly on the singleplayer campaign mode, the E3 demonstration was of a gold rush-style multiplayer map.Gold rush is essentially the same as it is from the first game, a team of attackers vs a team of defenders fighting over crates gold. While it is no longer called "gold rush" (the crates no longer contain gold) the objective is the same, secure and plant explosives on 8 crates (4 series of 2) or vice versa for the defenders. The multiplayer classes have been trimmed from 5 classes to 4 (support is no longer in the game), and while I prefer more classes (my favorite game in the series, Battlefield 2, has 7 playable classes with the option to play as the commander), I understand that it makes the game more accessible to gamers new to the series. We Need Some Support Up Here Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of May 2009 - 04:22 PM ]
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Trailer and Screen Shots When the first game came out, EA was totally trying to show their lighter side with some pretty funny clips and shots from the game. Something that most of us got use to seeing and having a good laugh at to get us excited about the game. For some reason that is unknown to me, it would seem they are going a different route with this one. At least from the start. I'm expecting to see some things like that in the future, but for now, we get some serious stuff. Read More...

Battlefield Heroes UPDATE
by Taylor Rose [ Friday, 2nd of May 2008 - 08:43 PM ]
This may be fairly old news to any of you hardcore Battlefield fans, but for those of you who haven't heard, the EAD.I.C.E. team behind Battlefield 1942™ and Battlefield 2™ has developed a new cartoon shooter: Battlefie ld Heroes. Set to be released for XP/Vista users this summer, Battlefield Heroes is EA's first title that's completely free to download and play. It will be funded through advertisements on the game's website and on the start menu of the game; no longer will we be bothered with obnoxious in-game ads! Every map will be ad-free. Read More...
