A new teaser for the suspected Shadow Realms IP from BioWare has been released and it is looking like it could be very interesting Last week we covered a newly teased IP from BioWare that most have been calling Shadow Realms. Near the end of last week Deep Silver and Occupant Entertainment announced that a Dead Island film adaptation is in the works Time to hear the resounding cheers and jeers for the announcement of a Dead Island film. Yes, it looks like we may be getting a film adaptation of Deep Silver's largest zombie themed game. The first Dead Island has sold over 8 million copies of the game to date so it seems like it would be a perfect time to rake in more dough on the franchise. Two new live action trailers from BioWare have popped up online and signs point to a new IP called Shadow Realms Over the last few weeks it looks like BioWare has been teasing a new IP and if all clues are correct it could be titles Shadow Realms. It makes sense as EA recently filed for a trademark for Shadow Realms back in March and the thumbnail for the first video is straight up titled ShadowRealms_Teaser_video.jpg. The Walking Dead Escape was back at SDCC giving all of us a feel for what a Survival Horror game really feels like For the third year running (pun intended) I was able to experience The Walking Dead Escape at SDCC. I broke down what it was all about before but I'll give the quick version just in case you are lazy. In a nut shell it is a real world survival horror event that tests if you could escape from one end of a location, Petco Park in this case, to the other without being swarmed by the undead horde. While At SDCC I Got To See Escape Dead Island In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It It seems like I should have had to wait a bit longer to get a look at Escape Dead Island as it was only announced a month ago but I'll take it none the less. Especially since Escape Dead Island seems to be taking the amazing universe and changing a lot of the mechanics that we are used to and changing them or removing them to fit this new take on Dead Island. During the Skybound Entertainment panel for The Walking Dead at SDCC, season three for the game was announced We haven't even finished off season two of The Walking Dead from Telltale and now we have season three on the way. It has been confirmed during the panel at SDCC where the game was mentioned and then confirmed from Robert Kirkman and the president of Telltale games, Kevin Bruner. GameStop has announced that they will have an exclusive DCL pack for Batman: Arkham Knight that adds the Red Hood's Story It looks like we are getting more to Batman: Arkham Knight than just the Harley Quinn story pack. That is at least if you are pre-ordering the game for your local GameStop and nowhere else. None the less it is confirmed now that we are getting more story DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight in the form of the Red Hood and it doesn't look like the Joker's version of the Red Hood either. A cinematic trailer for The Walking Dead: No Man's Land has been released to announce the new tie-in game The Walking Dead franchise is still a steam roller and in a preempt for SDCC we now have The Walking Dead: No Man's Land announced. The Telltale game has been relatively amazing, the Facebook tie-in social game was ok-ish, and the other console game from what I hear was 'meh'. Now we have yet another title but this time just for mobile from Next Games and AMC. Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is being released this week and here is the launch trailer for the game Talk about one of the best blasts from the past coming to PS4. Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is the most recent HD remastering for Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee and it is releasing tomorrow (7/22) on the PS4 in the North American region. Wednesday (7/23) for all those EU regional people and TBA this year for everyone else who wants to replay one of the games that started my next-gen-now-way-last-gen gaming love. A new trailer for Styx: Master Of Shadows has been released to show off the main goblin doing what he does best Last month we were able to re-watch the E3 gameplay for Styx: Master Of Shadows and it looks to be the perfect Thief-like game to me. Now we have a nice little extra look at a bit of gameplay and a bit more on the story that will be taking place during the game. It isn't all that much more but it is something for what I am seeing as a sleeper hit coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC this upcoming September.
