Animazement There was a lot going on at Animazement but I will say that Animazement was the best place for cosplaying Ever since we were young many of us dreamed of growing up to become our favorite video game or anime character. Gaming During Animazement 2017 there was a lot of gaming going on and I was out there to check out all the fun anime and gaming things Anime has long held an influence in the world of video games. During gaming's rise to prominence within mainstream culture during the 70s and 80s which was helped greatly by a little known Japanese company that is still around today, Nintendo is a global giant in video games and has been for decades. While gaming was becoming increasingly popular so has anime with shows like Mobile Suit Gundam and Speed Racers. The Walking Dead During SDCC it was revealed that The Walking Dead from Telltale will be getting one more season to wrap up The Walking Dead story we've been waiting for There was a lot of good news to come out of SDCC this year but what we have here is a mix of good and bad as The Walking Dead: The Final Season has been announced to be in the works and heading to us sometime in 2018. Obviously we can see the good news here as we will get to see Clementine back in action and dig into some of the best storytelling that Telltale Games can offer, but it also means that all of this will be coming to an end here. I'm going to go on a limb and guess this is due to the fact that The Walking Dead is over saturating the market with all of the other titles they have coming out there, but it could just be that the team wants to move on to other things or maybe other aspects of the universe. Hellblade We now have a small tease at one of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice's features coming with the game that will focus on Hellblade's psychosis & how it was used in game By now we all know that Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is going to have some deep-rooted ideas and looks at "insanity" and psychosis in the game. The titular character suffers from some of it and Ninja Theory has been pretty open about talking to many scholars and those who suffer from similar ailments to make sure they are able to represent the whole thing properly. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was totally a recovery week in video games for us over here and the industry in whole. Two of the bigger cons for the industry have now wrapped and we have a few more off in the near future and here we site continuing the coverage out of both of those major events. Hellblade Another trailer for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has been released this week and goes into more on how Hellblade will be getting some PS Pro features & more It's always a good week when we get two big updates for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice as earlier in the week we caught wind that there was to be a Photo Mode in the game to capture all of the fun, and now we are back to see just how amazing some of those shots can be with the PS4 Pro features getting added on in and some of the video output specification the game will have for the PC version. If you've been following along since the beginning you'd know that Ninja Theory has been working their asses off to make this a spectacular looking game and now you can rest assured that Hellblade will be coming with the coveted 60fps on the PS4 Pro. Hellblade It has been announced that Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will have a Photo Mode mixed in & we have some new Hellblade gameplay to spy on It seems like Photo Mode is all the rage in a lot of the big titles nowadays and Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is not going to be left out of all of that fun. It has just been announced that Ninja Theory has put this mode into the game as well but before you roll your eyes, I will say that this is one of the games out there that will truly benefit from it. Citadel A new open-world RPG, Citadel: Forged With Fire, has been given the announcement & you'll be able to play Citadel: Forged With Fire soon If you've been hoping for a new Open-World RPG in a fantasy setting, then get ready as Citadel: Forged With Fire has just been given the full announcement treatment here and is bringing along just what you were hoping for. In fact, if you are interested in checking it all out early you'll be able to do so on July 26th when it hits Steam Early Access for those PC gamers. Lone Echo A new trailer for Lone Echo has dropped to get us all ready for the release of Lone Echo and its multiplayer side of Echo Arena Hopefully you've taken advantage of the many great deals going on for the Oculus Rift as it looks like we have another great tittle to add into the mix with Lone Echo getting its exclusive release on the system on July 20th. This would be the latest title from Ready At Dawn that will place us all in the virtual space of…well…space as we take on the role of an astronaut's companion after some mishap takes place. Shadow Of War It's time to hear who will be joining you on Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War's quest, aurally, & then maybe meet the Shadow Of War VO cast at SDCC We can mark this under the "Not A Huge Surprise" list, but Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War will be at SDCC this year and in tow will also be the voice cast for the game that has recently been announced. Of course some of the people from Monolith Productions will also be there to talk about the game, but given the way SDCC is, it will be more about the big names linked to the game and seeing them. Not overflowing with news and updates, but still just enough out there to keep things flowing. I mean it was more about the updates for Horizon Zero Dawn and Shadow Of Mordor, but other video games like Assassin’s Creed Origins had quite a bit of highlight and we learned about the physical version of LawBreakers that hopefully you picked up on the PC or are waiting for the PS4 version to open up. Shadow Of War A new update for Shadow Of Mordor has released that will carry over Nemesis & Followers to Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War If you had planned on getting to start completely new for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War, then you were right to think that as before now it didn't seem like there was going to be much of a bridge besides story for this title and Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor. For most gamers this is still an option, but for those who had some great nemesis and followers from the first game it looks like Monolith Productions is going to give us the option to carry over the best of each when we spin up the new game on October 10th. Hellblade New gameplay for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has just released and it will make you question your own sanity in terms of Hellblade and Senua I don't think I can say this enough, but with each new trailer for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice I don't think that August 8th can get here soon enough.
