Champions Online For Swingers?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of April 2009 - 10:58 PM ]
Champions Online Swinging Travel Powers I bet you clicked this thinking that the new MMO from the people that brought you City of Heroes/Villains and Star Trek Online was going with an alternative social game. Don't lie. You know you did. But in all seriousness, if I ever am. There is a new clip out there for you gamers that have been looking forward to the game that was suppose to be Marvel Online originally. The clip shows how they took what worked in the Spiderman games, and most likely brought to the game before the Marvel game got scraped, and make it work in an MMO setting. That's right, you will be able to have swing travel powers in this game. Read More...

How Do You Like Her New Uniform?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of April 2009 - 11:03 PM ]
Villains in Batman Arkham Asylum What kind of Batman game would the new Arkham Asylum be if it only had the main baddy of the Joker and a slew of crazed "escaped" patients for Batman to wade through? Well a short type of game really. There are only so many regular patients for you to incapacitate before you got your hands around the killing jokester. Or just very repetitive. Which is why we can rest assured that this one will be a very interesting and fun game, as here are two more of the named baddies you will have to face off on. Read More...

Report is in sir!
by Binh Nguyen [ Sunday, 19th of April 2009 - 06:43 PM ]
For all you StarCraft junkies out there, Blizzard has released a second "Battle Report" for your viewing pleasure. In the video you will see Matt Cooper and David Kim facing off as Matt is using the Zerg race and David is using the Terrans race. The video really display the strength and weakness on both races which at one point I thought Matt Cooper was really going to dominate over David Kim, but David really came back and won  the match with updating his techs and forces to turn the tide on Matt Cooper. The new units and upgrades that blizzard released was shown here and to be honest with  you it really tickled me in a way that i cannot wait to try out those new units and abilities.I for one is really itching for this game to come out (when ever that may be) for the PC. Kratos Demands Your Help
by Jesse [ Thursday, 16th of April 2009 - 07:32 AM ]
Though the release of one of Sony’s most anticipated titles is still months away, that doesn’t mean that fans don’t have a reason to be excited. An email sent out by Sony links people to a survey asking 4 questions regarding what they want to see in a possible Collector’s Edition of God of War III. Questions 1&2 are simply “Do you own a PS3?” and “What God of War titles do you own? Read More...

Wii and DSi DLC for the Week of 4/13
by Brian Bentley [ Wednesday, 15th of April 2009 - 12:09 PM ]
Sorry it’s been a couple of weeks, folks, but once again, I’m bringing Nintendo’s weekly DLC into the spotlight.  This week, the big N drops two titles into the DSi Shop, one into Wii Ware and one into the Virtual Console.  Everyone has good weeks and bad weeks and Nintendo is different with this week’s lineup. The “Telephone” clone is impressive in that the title can support up to 21 people online, but 500 points seems a bit pricey for a slightly improved version of Picto-chat.  The Master of Illusion Express: Shuffle Games title is a great idea, for a demo. About time to know the Secret of Ulduar
by Binh Nguyen [ Wednesday, 15th of April 2009 - 05:22 AM ]
Attention please! It's time to learn the Secrets of Ulduar in the snowy regions of Storm Peaks! A few new things been released for this patch and the most notable Dual Spec. How this lovely ability works is when you are at level 40 you will be able to purchase Dual Spec for 1000g and it will allow you to switch between 2 different specs, glyphs and action bars. Now I could go on and list more changes like UI Improvement, The Argent Tournament. But I figured you would want to read the official patch notes instead. Read More...

Greatest Hits? Really?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 13th of April 2009 - 06:03 PM ]
Guitar Hero: Smash Hits Let me ask you a question, am I the only one that isn't a fan of greatest hits albums from bands? Compilations of songs that I already own but the band thinks that they are the best of their collection and need to make another CD of just these songs. Making the need to shell out more cash to pick up songs a new disk that I already paid good hard cash for. How does this make sense in a world? Really? Read More...

For The....Seals!!
by Binh Nguyen [ Thursday, 9th of April 2009 - 06:03 AM ]
Alright you animal loving people out there especially those who play the lovely game of World of Warcraft. This Saturday the lovely group of peta has set up an event on the WhisperWind realm at the Howling Fjord area to help stop the killing of….seals??  “Thrall refused to ban the slaughter of seals, despite multiple requests from the Alliance to do so, because Orgrimmar stands to make a large profit from the fur.  Activists from across the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor are banding together to put a stop to the atrocious seal slaughter.” Just recently the Canadian government has started their killing on seals, which means sealers are free to kill up to 338,200 of these harmless creatures. Unplugging The Amplitude
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of April 2009 - 05:15 PM ]
Rock Band Unplugged Does anyone else remember a little game Harmonix made oh so long ago called Amplitude? Where you flew a space craft around on different tracks and shot down "notes" to keep the beat, vocals, etc. going on a song playing in the background. You could upgrade and change your avatars and ships based on your scores. Also had some kick ass music that has yet to be fully seen on any of Harmonix's current projects. Ring a bell? Read More...

Fists Of Iron
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of April 2009 - 06:07 PM ]
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 For some reason Marvel would rather slowly tease us all with a slow release of playable characters for the next ultimate alliance game. Very slowly it would seem. Almost one a month from the count that I have seen. At least outside of the original outburst of characters that were assumed to carry over from the first game. But with around 24 playable characters, going at one a month won't be anywhere on time for their Autumn release schedule. Unless they plan to hammer us at E3 with a bunch of the others. Read More...

Fighting The Stills
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 30th of March 2009 - 08:02 PM ]
More Screen Shots Of Final Fantasy XIII While there is no confirmation on when the US will get their version of the FFXIII demo, the Japanese got one with the re-release of Advent Children, and only rumors of such a thing, what are we outside of Japan to do? Outside of try to find videos of the demo on youtube, or fuzzy screen shots of said demo, or poor translations from blogs about said demo, or well I could go on and on but I won't. But hopefully you get the point there. Well we are kind of in luck if the "Special Look" at FFXIII on the BluRay US version of the game turns out to be just another trailer for the game. Read More...
