Injustice 2 Get Three More Fighters As The Second Fighter Pack Is Revealed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 Fighter pack two has been shown off for Injustice 2 and it looks like a few of the rumored Injustice 2 fighters are coming with a surprise Here we go with the next set of fighters coming to Injustice 2 now as the Fighter Pack 2 DLC has just been announced during a stream going on for Gamescom. Not the most shocking of news as NetherRealm Studios did tease this a bit just for the convention here, but here we go with the three new fighters we can expect. More or less all of the speculation and guesses for who was coming to Injustice 2 were about right as two of the fighters announced had been guessed for quite some time. Read More...

Far Cry 5 Has Forced Baptismals & Fishing Mini-Games
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of August 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Far Cry 5 New gameplay for Far Cry 5 is out there from Gamescom and it shows off some of the mini-games of Far Cry 5 as well as other ways to save the innocent If you wanted more Far Cry 5 then you have it. In fact, we have a whole lot more of the game here in terms of gameplay as Ubisoft takes us all on an extended look at some of the current gameplay being floated around out there to show off many other aspects of the game. It has been released here for Gamescom, but as it sounds, this is a slice of footage from back as far as E3 when they were showing off Far Cry 5 during that show. None of it was seen by me personally so I have a feeling it was all "behind closed doors" or for "privileged media" to experience, but now it is here and adds in a few things that we may or may not have wanted for the game. Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite Unleashes The Souls From The Deep
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Marvel Vs Capcom More gameplay for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite has been released and we get to see some of the darker characters for Marvel Vs Capcom in action with the Soul Stone Last week we were shown the last of the roster for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite that will be coming at launch and we were able to see how dark things could go; in terms of characters. Now that we have seen them, it is time to see them all in action and Capcom has delivered us a new gameplay video for the game just to show all of that. Well, at least to show us how these fights in Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite could play out when the characters are in the best of hands or set up. Read More...

by Jana Lass [ Monday, 21st of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Star Wars We get a glimpse of Star Wars Battlefront II's new mode that will have us in the cockpits of many of Star Wars' iconic space crafts and fighting ships We have all been gearing up for the massive ground battles we will have in Star Wars Battlefront II on November 17th when it all launches on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We have all been hoping that DICE would add in a few other options into the mix since the last entry for the franchise here. As it looks now, we are being granted such a new mode as Star Wars Battlefront II is now getting a Starfighter Assault mode mixed in and it sounds pretty much as you would guess. Read More...

Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War Will Be Filled With All Kinds Of Monsters
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War Another trailer for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is here and it shows us the other horrors we'll be facing in Shadow Of War besides the Orcs There are so many threats in Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War that we will have to deal with and here we go adding even more into the mix of it all. Not the biggest surprise to the game at all, or the IP either, but there will be a plethora of other monsters and creatures out there to hinder our progression and thus level us up just a bit more. While extra monsters in Shadow Of War is nothing too shocking, it was something that Monolith Productions wanted us to see and experience here as we all get ready for October 10th to swing around and give us more of the story and gameplay we've enjoyed for so long. This Week In Video Games 8/14/17 — 8/18/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of August 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There goes yet another week of video games in the bag. I swear that seems like the way we start all of these recaps out there. Nonetheless, we have hit the end of yet another week and it was filled with even more updates and news that could have been expected. There was a lot for Shadow Of War and Assassin’s Creed Origins yet again, and sadly we saw that Crackdown 3 had been delayed yet again until next year. Thankfully though, we have Agents Of Mayhem out there to feel those needs and if you are still on the fence for that title, we just published out review for it so you can get a better idea before purchase. The Dark Kingdom Is Rising In Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Marvel Vs Capcom More characters for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite have been revealed as well as more of the new story for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite we'll be experiencing soon Here we go with what I am guessing will be the final story trailer for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite before September 19th. I am guessing that as it also fleshes out the full thirty character roster that Capcom has put together for this next big outing. That and it also looks like we may have a few different stories floating around here in Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite unless the showing here doesn't truly pan out as it looks like it will. I know I am seeing another Civil War kind of set up here as two different groups of thought debate on letting Thanos truly join in the fight for it all. Read More...

Black Mirror Is Getting Rebooted & Coming This November
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of August 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Black Mirror Old games die-hard as Black Mirror is getting a reboot of sorts and we can all look to see Black Mirror release this coming November I hope you are ready for another reboot to come your way this year as Black Mirror has just been announced to be heading our way to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC here in November. This isn't something tied to the Netflix show as THQ Nordic has made perfectly clear, but a whole new-ish title form KING Art Games that will slightly build off the previous titles in the same IP. Why they didn't go with a Black Mirror IV to keep the whole thing going, I don't know, but this is how it is and fans of the old point-and-click horror title can look to have a whole new experience coming their way. Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War's Terror Tribe Is Here For Blood & Pain
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War The Orcs of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War now have tribes & here is Shadow Of War's Terror Tribe to bring the pain and blades for us As if things weren't already going to be a bit on the crazy side for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War's Orcs, it looks like we can add in specialized tribes into the mix that will drive their thoughts and actions while we are making new enemies and allies throughout the land. Hopefully allies as the first up we have here is the Terror Tribe that Monolith Productions has for us and then look to be just as chaotic and horrible as the name alludes to. I going to go on a limb that this won't be the absolute worst of them in Shadow Of War, but at least we now know that we are in for some pain when October 10th rolls around. Read More...

Travel Into Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War's In-Game Market
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is getting an in-game market that will allow you to quickly upgrade your Shadow Of War characters if you choose It looks like we can add another game in the mix that will be implementing micro-transactions in the way of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War. Yes, it looks like we are getting them here as we have just been introduced to The Market aspect of the game that will allow us to purchase upgrades, weapons, and other boosts to help us survive the game that Monolith Productions has for us here. Sadly, this is not a huge shocker as many titles are going down this path to continue to generate revenue after a title has been launched. Now we just get to add Shadow Of War to that list of titles when it lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 10th here. Read More...

Let's Do The Impossible & Kill A God In Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Dishonored The first gameplay trailer for Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider is here and we get to see how we are tackling this new Dishonored standalone DLC During the big E3 event from Bethesda we heard that we were getting Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider to continue on the story as we all wanted. There isn't much more of a wait as we can see it on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC on September 15th but it would be nice to see what Arkane Studios has crafted so far to get us all hyped up for it. Gameplay for an upcoming title, or expansion, or DLC (or whatever this can be considered for the Dishonored universe as it is a standalone thing but not a full game), is always welcome to help us get a feel for it all and that is what we have here today. Let's Go A Little Behind The Scenes Of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Uncharted A new behind the scenes look for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has dropped and we get to go down the path that led to the fan favorites of Uncharted taking the lead Since August 22nd isn't far off, I guess it is high time to dig into some of the developer choices that were made for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and just how the game was all crafted. Well, I guess more on how the story was crafted and the specific characters were selected by Naughty Dog for this spin-off title that will be hitting the PS4 here. Yes, this is going to be another "how the game was made" kind of update as that is just what we have here for the next in the Uncharted line here. Read More...

Sinner A new game, Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption, has been announced and it will be testing the “Sinner” in each of us as we traverse Hell I hope you are ready to go to Hell again as we have Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption just recently getting an announcement and a bit of a gameplay trailer to show it all off. As if this premise hasn't been done to death already in our media, but nonetheless, Dark Star Game Studios is coming together to bring us this epic story and give us some different gameplay to go with it. If you haven't heard of said studio before, it is okay. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/31/17 — 8/4/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of August 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week of video games in the bag and there was still so much we didn't get to. Even with it only being SDCC and Animazement being the big conventions that just happened there seems to still be a whole lot of new information and updates out there. More so with Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Agents Of Mayhem, and Observer all just about to release next week and massive info dumps for all of those video games adding on to all of the other things. There is still much more we have to bring you from the conventions that will pick up next week as long as things don't go completely off the rails out there for it all. Read More...

Cosplay Culture Was Out In Force At Animazement 2017
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Friday, 4th of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Animazement There was a lot going on at Animazement but I will say that Animazement was the best place for cosplaying Ever since we were young many of us dreamed of growing up to become our favorite video game or anime character. I had no clue that so many years later I’d be going to conventions like Animazement dressed as a vault dweller and seeing so many others donning their amazing costumes. People draw inspiration from a variety of sources. Comics, Anime, and Video Games just to name a few. Read More...
