Red Dead Redemption
A delay has hit Red Dead Redemption 2 but now we have a new solid date to expect Red Dead Redemption 2 to launch on as well as some new screenshots
The wait continues for Red Dead Redemption 2, but now we have a new solid release date for the game. As is usually the reason given for delays, it looks like Rockstar Games needs some more time to "polish" the game a bit more. Yes, the same polish excuse as usual. That said, we can now look for Red Dead Redemption 2 to hit the PS4 and Xbox One on October 26th now. Another great game to hit us right in the middle of all of the other huge releases of the year that generally come. I have a feeling some titles will be getting shifted around now to make space for this one.
To go along with the delay announcement for Red Dead Redemption 2, we also have a few new screenshots for the game to take in. You can see them below, but it does make me question where they are going to polish this game any further. Not in a bad way at all as these new images look gods damned amazing and make Red Dead Redemption 2 look like a true next-gen title on these current systems. Have a look for yourself and see what I am talking about. Of course, these are marketing photos so there may be some kind of touch up done. Even if that is the case, it does look like there is not much more polish that can be added on here, as it looks spectacular already.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Is Coming October 26th 2018
Dear All,
We are excited to announce that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on October 26th 2018. We apologize to everyone disappointed by this delay. While we had hoped to have the game out sooner, we require a little extra time for polish.
We sincerely thank you for your patience and hope that when you get to play the game, you will agree the wait will have been worth it. In the meantime, please check out these screenshots from the game. We look forward to sharing a lot more information with you in the coming weeks.
With thanks,
What do you think about the delay for Red Dead Redemption 2 that we have here? Do you think it is more to polish up the code and mechanics of the game or will we see something better than what we have here? Could these screenshots be where the team wants to get the game on the consoles but need to work that out so they can deliver? Let us know your thoughts on all of this down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. We will certainly have more for Red Dead Redemption 2 and when we do, we will have it up here on the site. Keep checking back in to see it all and get further excited for the game to finally come.
