Final Fantasy We have a new trailer for Dissidia Final Fantasy that shows off all of the villains from past Final Fantasy titles that will be in the mix again It looks like another great trailer for Dissidia Final Fantasy has been unleashed out there and this time it is a showcasing of the various villains from the franchise's past that will be showing up in the final version of the game. It seems to have slipped out there in the mix of all of the holiday fun, but Square Enix wanted to make sure that we all had a chance to see if our favorites will be in there. Kingdom Hearts A new batch of 'leaked' screenshots for Kingdom Hearts III are here and it looks like we have another new world coming to Kingdom Hearts III It looks like we all received an extra treat over the holidays here as we had a few more 'leaked' images for Kingdom Hearts III crop up on the internet and in this case, they show off a potential new world we are going to be exploring. I state potential as this is nothing that Square Enix has officially put out there and there is a slight chance that these could be faked, but they still look like the real deal if you ask me. Given that Kingdom Hearts III is still slated to hit the PS4 and Xbox One sometime in 2018, there is still plenty of time for the team to show off more potential worlds so if true I think we will get a solid confirmation at some point. God Of War The ESRB let loose the rating for God Of War and it looks to hold a few interesting facts for this God Of War title that we did not know Even though it has been taken down, it looks like God Of War has been rated by the ESRB and it has offered up a few interesting tidbits for the game that we have yet to find out. Sadly, there is still no solid release date for the game but it does look like Santa Monica Studio has opted to leave a few of the franchise staples out in this go. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We have wrapped yet another week in video games had had yet more ups and downs as comes with almost every week we have out there. Granted, we did get some great announcements like Catherine: Full Body and Vermintide 2 but they were also followed by delay for Psychonauts 2 and lacking information on many other video games out there that we were hoping to hear about before the end of the year. Star Trek A new update for Star Trek: Bridge Crew is here and it allows you to join in on the Star Trek fun without the need for VR headsets We have some good news for you Trekkies out there that feel left out of the fun of Star Trek: Bridge Crew due to not having a full VR set up for your PC our a PSVR for your PS4. That news is that Ubisoft has listened to your cries and opted to put out an update that will allow non-VR gamers out there to access and enjoy the game. Far Cry 5 Meet another of Far Cry 5's cast of NPCs who will be handing out quests and making sure that Far Cry 5 is filled with even more insanity than even As if Far Cry 5 was not already going down the crazy train path with the Eden's Gate Cult we are going to have to be fighting, we now get some of the other crazy conspiracy theorists mixed to hand out quests and missions. I am going to guess that Ubisoft ran into a whole lot of these kinds of people out there when taking their scouting trip and now we are going to have to deal with it. South Park The next big DLC for South Park: The Fractured But Whole has dropped and it adds some new challenges throughout the town of South Park If you were not paying attention to South Park: The Fractured But Whole since its launch then you may have missed the fact that the latest DLC for the game has been released into the wilds for us all to partake in. It seems odd that Ubisoft did not have some big build up for the release as they always seem to do, but this is how it is and we can now pick up the Danger Deck DLC on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Warhammer It is official now that Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will be heading to the consoles after much speculation that we would see this Warhammer game head there too Since Warhammer: Vermintide 2 was first revealed and shown off for the PC it was heavily speculated that we would be seeing the game also on the consoles at some point. It was speculated but never confirmed from Fatshark and it seemed odd to many. Especially since Warhammer: End Times — Vermintide made the jump to the PS4 and Xbox One after a year of being released. God Of War If you missed out on the PSX tour of God Of War this year, then you are in luck as you can experience all of the God Of War that was shown there While we still may have been left wanting for more gameplay for God Of War here, we do have a bit more in terms of the game's story and background. At least for one of the characters we will be adventuring with here as Santa Monica Studio made sure to capture the guided tour they had at this year's PSX that went into detail on one of Atreus' first adventures. Far Cry 5 A lot of gameplay for Far Cry 5 has been released and it shows off the open world of Far Cry 5 better than we have seen so far Far Cry 5 may have been pushed back to March 27th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but that does not mean that we are not going to get flooded with new gameplay to look and get us hyped up for the game. This is Ubisoft after all and they will want us to see all the flashy visuals and explosions as possible to get us to shell out more cash for the game. This is most likely why we now have almost a half hour of new footage for Far Cry 5 to look at and see how the open world of the game will be as dynamic as some of us have wanted but also as lush as it should be. Metal Gear A new video for Metal Gear Survive is here to show off more of the game and just where Metal Gear Survive falls in the story of the overall IP All of those little bits for Metal Gear Survive were nice and all, but now it is time to get some real substance for the game.
