As of right now it has been announced that Naughty Dog will be giving us Uncharted 4 on March 18th of 2016 so get those pre-orders a going. The Merc' With The Mouth, Deadpool, Is Hitting Next Gen Systems
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of September 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
It has been announced that Deadpool will be making the leap from the PS3 and 360 to the PS4 and Xbox One this November bringing all of the Deadpool goodness with him Talk about a "remaster" of sorts coming out of nowhere as Deadpool is coming to the PS4 and Xbox One almost two years after it hit the PS3 and Xbox 360. This would be the High Moon Studios game that came out in 2013 that also had a lot of mixed reviews based on the titular character Deadpool. I am sure that Activision isn't doing this because of the most likely success of the Marvel franchise recently and the new film on the way. Read More...

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Release Date Revealed & Augmentation Begins
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 31st of August 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
The official global release date for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has been revealed as well as a new way to alter your pre-order of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Add yet another title to the February 2016 release schedule as Deus Ex: Mankind Divided now has an official release date for February 23rd of 2016 on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. That is also a world wide release date at that as Square Enix has written it in soft stone. I say soft stone here as it looks like Deus Ex: Mankind Divided may still get a release date change only this time it won't be based on Eidos Montreal needing time but more in line of how many of us out there actually pre-order Deus Ex: Mankind Divided earlier than said date. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 31st of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
New gameplay and a release window for Final Fantasy XV have been given to us all out of PAX and it looks like Final Fantasy XV will be hitting in 2016 If for some reason there was any doubt that Final Fantasy XV was going to be hitting the PS4 and Xbox One in 2016 then you can set that to rest now. During PAX Prime it was announced that Final Fantasy XV was indeed coming sometime in 2016 and that we will know an exact date sometime in March of that year. This is of course right from Square Enix and no more speculation on any of it. Read More...

New Hitman Gameplay To See That Brings Down The House
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 31st of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Official gameplay for Hitman has been shown off and released into the wild to show us all how far the new Hitman title has progressed to We've seen plenty of Hitman footage "leaked" out by those testing the alpha build of the game. It never looked to eye-poppingly amazing before as it was always someone who doesn't know how to play Hitman, from the looks of the gameplay, as well as people with PCs that could barely seem to run the game. To fix this issue for all of us looking forward to Hitman on December 8th it looks like Io Interactive has taken it upon themselves to give us a real play through of the same area we've seen leaked and not plugged up by Square Enix to date. All of which right out of PAX over the weekend so we know it is as fresh as they can make for now. Read More...

Minecraft: Story Mode Is Going To Let Us Choose Our Hero Too
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
It looks like Minecraft: Story Mode isn't only letting us choose our own story paths but also how our hero of Minecraft looks and sounds…with new screenshots While all of those lucking gamers are attending PAX will be getting a chance to play with a beta build of Minecraft: Story Mode it looks like the rest of us are not being left out in the lurch with nothing to go one but word of mouth. Telltale wouldn't do that to us. And in fact they haven't as they have dropped a few new screenshots on us from Minecraft: Story Mode as well as a little nugget that is a first in the developer's history here for their foray into the Mojang franchise. All Of Those Just Cause 3 Destructibles Have Been Handled With Care
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of August 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new developer diary for Just Cause 3 has been released to show off how the team is getting all of those destructibles in Just Cause 3 just right We've all seen how destructible Just Cause 3's world and objects are going to be. We have and it is what we expect for the next gen title and the Just Cause franchise up to now. We know it and so does Avalanche Studios as they too have been taking great care to make everything in Just Cause 3 explode, decay, evaporate, or any other synonym for destroy, look just about right. Granted it isn't always going to be the most real world physics based kind of destructible but Just Cause 3 is a video game so it will make it look just right for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC universes that we will play in. Street Fighter V Bringing More Butt-Slams With R. Mika
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
R. Mika, or Rainbow Mika, is back for Street Fighter V and it looks like she is bringing more than just something Sir Mix-A-Lot would love in Street Fighter V Now that the Street Fighter V beta is underway, and going well from what I hear, it looks like it is time to bring out yet another fighter that will be gracing the scene when it comes to the PC and PS4. In fact it looks like Capcom is going into the Wayback Machine to pull this one up as it looks like we are getting a character that has been MIA since 1998. The character here being R. Read More...

Rise Of The Tomb Raider's Collector's Edition Has Been Detailed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The collector's edition for Rise Of The Tomb Raider has been revealed and it is pretty standard in the ways of collector’s editions goes Surprise, surprise. It looks like Rise Of The Tomb Raider is getting a Collector's Edition version of the game. Okay. Not really that big of a surprise here but up until now there has been no word from Square Enix on if there was going to be one or not. Hells, Crystal Dynamics has been pretty quiet on the whole thing but I am sure that is due to them trying to make Rise Of The Tomb Raider the game we want and need and not just a bland addition to the franchise. That is at least what I would like to think as it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside to think that as I'll most likely have another year to sit and wait for Rise Of The Tomb Raider to move from the Xbox 360 and Xbox One over to the PC and PS4. Darwin & Dickens Will Have Larger Roles In Assassin's Creed Syndicate
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new video for Assassin's Creed Syndicate has been released that shows off Charles Darwin and Charles Dickens as well as more Assassin's Creed Syndicate pre-order bonuses If you've been following along with Assassin's Creed Syndicate then you most likely have heard about the Charles-es making a strong appearance in the game. These being Charles Darwin and Charles Dickens even though I'm not sure how they would feel about Ubisoft placing them on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC as we would have to speculate on dead human feelings. None the less they are coming and helping Jacob and Evie in Assassin's Creed Syndicate in their own ways and we've seen little bets of this before. Read More...

The Street Fighter V North American Stress Test Starts
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of August 2015 - 09:02 PM ]
The stress test for the latest Street Fighter V beta build in the North American region begins this week for all those Street Fighter fans Talk about one hell of a turnaround as it looks like the Street Fighter V "beta" stress test for the North American region is upon us sooner than speculated. In fact by the time some of you are reading this Capcom will have turned on the flood gates for all of those PC and PS4 gamers to try and bring down the Street Fighter V servers. Not via hacking or anything but by sheer amount of players trying to beat each other down over their network and in the game. I hope no one gets any wise ideas here as this Street Fighter V "beta" has been trying to get rolled out for some time now and it looks like the wait is over…for now. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of August 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
New screenshots for LEGO Dimensions show off a few of the brave new worlds we will be saving when traversing the LEGO Dimensions universe Up until now we've been getting LEGO Dimensions based on the individual worlds or dimensions that we will be exploring in the game when it comes on September 27th. All kinds of new worlds will be added to our PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Wii Us via TT Games' amazing undertaking and foray into a new genre of video games. Unlike before though, in this new update we have a nice new look at a few of the LEGO Dimensions worlds all mixed into one update. Read More...

The Ultimate Metal Gear Is Coming In Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
The launch trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has been released and it is full of nostalgia and new gameplay just for The Phantom Pain We are now officially a week out from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's release on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. Next Tuesday, September 1st we will be giving Kojima Productions' final foray into the Metal Gear franchise before departing Konami and moving on to other things. It will be a sad time but it looks like The Phantom Pain will be bringing us so much joy and "ultimate story" that we can overlook all of that and just pine for the game when not in our hands. The Phantom Pain has looked to be one of those titles that have the ability to last for quite some time even if you don't take part in the online multiplayer aspect of it all. Read More...

Hear & See The Terror That SOMA Will Hopefully Instill
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of August 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new developer diary and screenshots for SOMA have been released all focusing on the atmosphere and sounds that will inspire fear in SOMA Given that SOMA is supposed to be a horror-like title it would make sense that there are a lot of creepy sounds during the game. Same goes with the fact that it is a Sci-Fi title as well so we should be expecting a whole lot of that as well. SOMA wouldn't be the title that Frictional Games is pushing if these elements were not present as we all should know that sound and music help drive emotions and tone in video games. Well, any form of media, but we are talking SOMA and we are talking video games here. Read More...
