Review — Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of April 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
Wonderlands We sit down and review Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. A trip back into the fantasy lands of the Borderlands. Here is our review of Wonderlands Sometimes DLC falls flat and sometimes DLC takes off and becomes its own thing, which is the case we have here for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Not that we are seeing Gearbox slap on some DLC from past titles, but taking an idea that so many loved and giving us all a full game instead of a small segment to it all. All of which would be a gross simplification of what Wonderlands actually is, but someone needed a good intro here, Bay Bay!. Now we can dive in to see just how well this all translated over and if it is worth your time and money to spin up a game of Bunkers & Badasses. Read More...

Hello Neighbor 2 Is Opening Up Even More For Us To Test Out
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of April 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Hello Neighbor Pre-orders for Hello Neighbor 2 are kicking off with one of the bonuses giving us more Hello Neighbor to experience before the launch The full game launch for Hello Neighbor 2 is coming at us more and more with each passing day as we head toward December 6th. That is the date that tinyBuild has it all listed down to hit the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC but what if there was a way to get your hands on it all a bit early. I am not talking just with the Early Access for Hello Neighbor 2, but in terms of a new closed beta that you can get access to. That is, if you want to pre-order the game now and just make sure you are securing your place in the game. Read More...

The Quarry Shows Why You Should Not Cry Bigfoot
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of April 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
Quarry Another podcast for The Quarry opens up a bit more on cryptids and a bit of gameplay for The Quarry Things keep progressing here for The Quarry as we get ever so closer to that June 10th release date we are all waiting for. At least if you are a fan of horror games and the ones that Supermassive Games have given us over the years. Now that they have 2K backing them and getting more of the bigger named actors mixed in, I can see why they are all thinking that The Quarry will be the next big one for them. The track record does hold up. Read More...

Celebrate Your First Contact With Destroy All Humans! 2 — Reprobed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of April 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
Destroy All Humans You can get a look at how Destroy All Humans has evolved up to what we are getting with Destroy All Humans! 2 — Reprobed Apparently, today is the day that is being heralded as First Contact day for Destroy All Humans! 2 — Reprobed. A bit odd given all of the release dates and many other references not lining up, but it does mean that we have a bit more to look at from Black Forest Games as we wait for the game to launch on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Maybe it is all a deep cut in the Destroy All Humans! lore that I am missing, but here we go anyway. Read More...

PlayStation Plus Is Getting Quite A Few Changes Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 31st of March 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
PlayStation PlayStation Plus is finally folding PlayStation Now into one specific service for us all It was one of the worst kept secrets and, thankfully, the rumors can now stop with the announcement we have for PlayStation Plus and how things are going to be changing for the service. Try not to freak out just yet; we still have to wait until June for all of these to go into effect, but it does sound close to what gamers have been asking for. Even if it does mean that PlayStation Now is slightly going away and we will see this service wrapped up in the new one here. All so we can get those classic PS1, PS2, and PS3 titles on the PS4 or PS5 depending on where you are in the cycle here. Read More...

Quarry A new cinematic horror title, The Quarry, is announced where we will have to help teenagers survive the terrors this quarry holds Supermassive Games is still riding a bit of a high with their previous endeavor we are still waiting to wrap up, but that does not mean they will not be hitting us with a new title here with The Quarry. Before you think it, this is not another addition to the ongoing titles they are still going with but a new one that 2K is helping them get out there on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. In an insanely timely manner with The Quarry getting announced then slated with a June 10th release date for all of those platforms. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with putting one more week of video games in the bag and heading toward the next. It is an endless cycle, but it does offer up a fun game loop to enjoy as we see titles like Wanted: Dead and Ragnaröck get some interesting updates this week. Not to mention all of the updates coming to Returnal and a new review for A Musical Story that we had the pleasure to drop out there to you. We all live our lives as we do in our video games, just with things generally being less fun and extravagant. Read More...

Aragami 2 Is Taking Us All Back Into The Classics Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of March 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Aragami The classic mode for Aragami 2 is finally here to give us all that original Aragami feel again Aragami 2 has been out there for a while now and we have seen various updates from Lince Works to better improve all of our experiences. An experience that has had some naysayers out there as it did shift things a bit from what the original Aragami offered up to the world. Thankfully, those issues should be going away after today with the new Classic Mode getting added into the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions of the game. Just as you might assume, it is bringing back the standard gameplay that won over so many to this IP when it first dropped. Read More...

Go A Little Further With The Season Pass For Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of March 2022 - 08:00 PM ]
Wonderlands The Wonderlands will be expanding fast with the Season Pass of content coming to Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Even though we just received a look at what we could expect for the endgame portion of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, it looks like Gearbox already has plans to give us all much more and in short order. In fact, it looks like we will only be scratching that endgame content in the core of Wonderlands for just about a month as the Season Pass content is kicking off on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on April 21st. It seems like a quick turnaround but at the very least, it will give us something to do with all of the loot we are going to gather in the Chaos Chamber once we open it all. Read More...
