Playstation 3 2.76 Software Update = Live

So the inFamous compatibility 2.76 update for the PS3 "improves the playback quality of some PS3 format software. and you will no longer have to restart a game to display trophies after a hard drive upgrade or if you restore from the backup" (like we do that SO much). The software update is most likely aimed at issues that arose during the testing of inFamous, the new game coming from Sucker Punch. GO DOWNLOAD IT NOW WOOOT! *missing from the update is the ability to do cross-game invitations, cross-game microphone chatting, or anything that makes playing a game as easy as XBOX Live. Ghostly Multiplayer Madness

Ghostbusters Game Trailer It makes total sense for this game to have a multiplayer aspect to it. Albeit, limited to four people multiplayer, but multiplayer none the less. What fun would it be if you could only have one of the Busters active by a player at a time? Especially with the others possibly being run by an AI that could be poor. Don't need another Sheva incident, if you know what I mean. All there was for the game was a short video clip showing off some of the antics and very little game play for Sony's new MMO. Japanese PSP Game Shocks Otaku

Japanese PSP game, Toradora! Portable, a visual novel game based on the anime Toradora!, has managed to shock and please numerous otaku. Sankaku Complex reported earlier that when one completes Taiga's Scenario in game to 100% completion, you are greeted with a rather surprise ending. Fans come to the realization that Taiga is in fact pregnant with Ryuji's child. There are other scenarios available to complete with two other characters, Ami and Minorin, but no word on how they end as of yet. Toradora! Read More...

Capcom Confirms US Release For Fate/Unlimited Codes

Capcom announced last week during CAPTIVATE 09 that they will be releasing the PSP fighting game, Fate/Unlimited Codes Portable, in the U.S. Unlike Japan, the American release will be following Europe in releasing the game digitally only through the Playstation Store. Sony and Capcom both firmly state that they are not abandoning the UMD format that is the primary media used in PSP games. Capcom has promised a winter release at a retail price of $29.99. Bethesda Software Gets All WET

Bethesda Software announced this morning via a press release on their website, that they will be publishing WET for the 360 and PS3. This 3rd person action title from Artificial Mind and Movement (A2M) has finally found its home after a long struggle since its release from Activision. It is being developed for both the XBox 360 and the Playstation 3 and slated for a release this Fall of 2009."We're very excited about the opportunity to bring WET to all gamers," said Vlatko Andonov, president of Bethesda Softworks. By totally behind I'm talking the Film, comics, and pre-planed sequel to Dead Space. All the DLC plans for Mirror's Edge. It's arena in PSHome. This also seems to be no different for there next big IP, Dante's Inferno. Why? An inFAMOUS DATE

inFamous Not Releasing This June, After All We're all use to it by now. A new game is coming out. A date is chosen for launch. When there is little over a month or two before the launch, the date get's changed and we all should have thought so in the first place. At least that is generally the case.
