Spider-Man Shatters Into the Judge Dread Dimension

Ok, not really but it sure does look like a toned down version of Judge Dread in these new screen shots from Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions doesn't it? Of course it does. It also looks like a Spawn look has overtaken Spider-Man from these new screens as well, which looks extremely bad ass in my oh so non-humble opinion. But one question still runs in my head - what dimension is this one? Is it the same Roid-Rage one that the Goblin is seen in? Read More...

Dance On The Mass Grave Of Helghast

That is how you would pluralize that word right? Like sheep. Or is it Helghasts...Helghastes...Helghans? No matter how you would do that, I won't let it detract from the new "teaser" trailer for Killzone 3. Something you can see below or over at the official Killzone 3 website. If you want to go through all the normal BS to see this trailer and such. At first this may not look like much of a tease since it is all a pre-rendered fight scene. There were few games I was looking forward to this year more than Alpha Protocol. With every new video and image released I thought the customization, character interaction and apparent polish on the title would really push it to the top of my "gotta play" list. I felt like Obsidian Entertainment wouldn't disappoint, with their history of working on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II and Neverwinter Nights 2. New PSP Go Promotion Gives New Owners Free Games

A new promotion was announced on the PlayStation Blog yesterday for the PSPGo. Anyone who buys the handheld from now until March 31st, 2011 will receive three free game vouchers. The games included are: Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3, and Little Big Planet. Overall this is a solid set of games, but unfortunately the SCEA bundle pales in comparison with the SCEE deal, as anyone in Europe who buys a PSPGo gets 10 free games with their purchase. This offer pretty much confirms that we won't likely be hearing about a PSP2 anytime soon, and more importantly it shows that SCEA is still doing an incredibly awful job at marketing the PSPGo in the US. Review: Lost Planet II

When you start comparing Lost Planet II to its predecessor it seems like it should escape all of the pitfalls of the first title and really offer up a solid single player experience with a rich multiplayer to boot. Aside from technical issues, some slightly questionable AI and level design, it delivers. However, a word of advice: Don't bother playing the game by yourself. LP2 just doesn't seem designed for it. Killzone 3 Trying To One Up Uncharted 2

While it might not seem like it, since they are all Sony developers, it looks as if Guerrilla Games is trying to do just that visually. That and just recently the Senior Producer of Guerrilla Games said as much. But knowing that from the start doesn't help me grab your eyes and thrust them to these new screen shots for Killzone 3. Microsoft's Project Natal To Be Priced At $149

Accoriding to a report from Edge-Online today Microsoft has set a $149 price tag on its upcoming motion capture camera dubbed "Project Natal". This price is three times the original rumored price of $49. To keep it relative the anticipated pricepoint of Sony's similar upcoming hardware release "move" is rumored to be only $99. Will Microsoft sell the millions of units to the casual and non-traditional gaming crowd that it anticipates at this price point? Will Sony destroy any possibility of success with its newly announced 31% of the console market and its significantly cheaper "Move"? Read More...

Chris Hunting Hunters In Marvel Vs Capcom 3

Naughty Bear Are You Losing Your Touch?

As Naughty Bear has been stealing more and more for the book How To Be More Like Hades™, I would have expected him to use one of the better rules this time around. That rule being #12, "Use Their Own Knife Against Them." But instead he went with the less used rule #1012, "Curb Smash When You Can." Which does not make sense as it is a larger slap in the face to gut someone with their own machete. Knights Contract Trying To Out Gore Splatterhouse

While the announcement trailer for Knights Contract didn't do much to whet my whistle for the 2011 title, I will say that these screen shots just recently thrown out definitely do. I actually had no clue how blood and rage filled this game could potentially be. I mean, the trailer showed a bit, but these do so much more justice. Although visuals don't always make a game, they do add to the storytelling process of games. So we can only imagine how a skinned warrior and a huge, odd shaped looking monster fit in. Read More...

Splatterhouse Cranked To 11
