Review — The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Above The Law
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead We sit down and review The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Above The Law. This is the third episode of Telltale's continuation on their version of The Walking Dead. Here's our review on how they did It has been some time since the last two episodes for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier were launched. I was hopeful that the back to back releases of the episodes were a sign that Telltale Games was going to get this season out there rather quickly. Sadly that was not the case as it was three months until the third episode for this season of The Walking Dead to release, but release it has. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Conan Exiles Another major content update for Conan Exiles is out there and it brings a load of new weapons and enemies to Conan Exiles as well as a new dungeon If you've been enjoying Conan Exiles' early access so far, then you'll be glad to see that there is now more of it to enjoy as another new content update has been pushed out and it brings a whole lot of new things to the game. This is listed as the twenty-fourth update for the game but the third major content update that Funcom has given us all. Not too shabby for a game that has yet to have a full release and still technically in development. Read More...

The Surge Is Letting Us Target Some Limbs & Then Take The Spoils
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
The Surge The limb cutting mechanic for The Surge has a new trailer to try and show it off as well as the loot and crafting system that The Surge will employ Here we go with yet another video for The Surge and this time it is slated toward a mechanic I have been trying to wrap my head around in the game. Deck 13 has stated that there is a limb cutting mechanic in the game and has shown it off a few times before. From what I've seen in the past for The Surge it looks like just how it sounds as limbs do come off when hit, but what I have yet to understand is just how we do this without just flailing wild and hoping for the best. Here We Go With Mass Effect: Andromeda's 1.05 Patch
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Wednesday, 5th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Mass Effect What does Mass Effect: Andromeda look like with less bugs? Hopefully Mass Effect: Andromeda's latest patch will show us Tomorrow (4/6) BioWare’s 1.05 patch for Mass Effect: Andromeda will be available. Down below I’ll leave a link to BioWare’s blog post with the patch notes since I’m going to only gloss over the big ones, and for the fact, I don’t play the multiplayer. The first patch note if “Improved Tutorial Placement” which to me seems odd since I don’t know how they could improve that and what was wrong with it. The opening for Mass Effect: Andromeda was very clunky in every aspect of the word but I felt that was more of a story problem than any oddly placed tutorials. Read More...

If It Wasn't For Gamers Resident Evil 7 May Not Have Had VR Support
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 The third video for Resident Evil 7's making of series has been released and we get to see just how Resident Evil 7 got the VR support it has It's not uncommon that the wants and needs of gamers help shape their games, but as it turns out for Resident Evil 7, it looks like we all were the basis for one specific feature to be added into the game. That feature being the VR support that came with the PS4 version of the game as it turns out that Capcom wasn't originally keen on having it in there. Understandably so as it is still a budding technology and they really needed Resident Evil 7 to be the game that brought the franchise back into the lime light. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th It has just been announced that Friday The 13th: The Game will allow Jason the ability to use traps to further the horror of Friday The 13th matches We are supposed to be getting into the final stretch of Friday The 13th: The Game based on the update from last week, or at least that was the assumption based on Gun Media's thoughts of Early 2017, but that has not seemed to stop the updates and changes coming to the game. Last week we saw the new ability for Jason that Illfonic has put together for us, and now we get to see another addition to Jason to make him even deadlier. Now in Friday The 13th it looks like the player of Jason will be able to set traps. Read More...

It's Time To Try Out Some Of Prey's New Toys & Hardware
by Julia Schoebel [ Tuesday, 4th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Prey Another trailer for Prey is here and this one goes over all the fun gadgets and gear we'll have to play with in Prey when it launches Another week and another video here for Prey. With May 5th quickly approaching, I know I still have many questions and things I want to see from Arkane Studios and it looks like they are going to deliver it all right up until the launch. Well, at least as much as Bethesda will let them until then. For now though it looks like we have another great look at Prey and the weapons and gear that we will be using here soon to take down the Typhon that are plaguing our ship. Read More...

Review — Bear With Me: Episode One
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Tuesday, 4th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Slime-San We sit down and review Bear With Me: Episode One. Dive in to the detective thriller of the century. Here's our review of Bear With Me: Episode One Bear With Me: Episode One has been pretty much an obsession for me. I’ve had rocky experiences with point and click adventure games over the years. Some are so simple it’s not even fun, then some are masochistically hard from making no logical sense. Why would kicking over a rock in the garden, causing you to stumble back, fall into the pool so that the sun can bounce off the waves, and that somehow blinds the cat causing him to jump from his perch on top the coat rack and brush the lock on the door to open it? Review — Slime-San
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 3rd of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Slime-San We sit down and review Slime-San. Out of this world and into a worm. Here's our review of Slime-San Slime-San is an incredibly hard platformer developed by Fabraz and is the second game from the indie team. I will let my bias be known this type of game really isn’t for me. My main motivation for playing and subsequently reviewing this game was because it’s similarity to Super Meat Boy. I like to challenge myself and Slime-San is the very definition of challenging. At first, it kind of turned me off. Read More...

Agents Of Mayhem Is Bringing The Classic Bad Vs. Evil Story To Us Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Agents Of Mayhem The release date for Agents Of Mayhem has been set and with the new trailer it looks like Agents Of Mayhem will be hitting us all this August Last year at E3 we were all introduced to Agents Of Mayhem and all of the absurdly fun times that the game and characters mixed in could bring. Volition is definitely know for all of the insanity, no pun intended for those in the know, and this game surely piqued my interest when I had a chance to sit down and play it. Back then it looked to be another great game added to the growing library of Deep Silver and then things went mostly silent for Agents Of Mayhem. Read More...

Jump For Joy As We Happy Few Gets Another Major Update & Area To Explore
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of March 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
We Happy Few The second major update for We Happy Few has been released and this one adds in some requested items as well as adding to We Happy Few a new area to explore Great news for all of those gamers out there still enjoying We Happy Few. It looks like there is now even more to enjoy as a new major update for the game has been pushed out there that adds a whole new area to explore and quest on. Not only that, but some other great things have been added into the mix so that you can now stop pestering Compulsion Games for a bit so they can double down on making We Happy Few a final project and not an early access thing that we have right now. When you force the developers to look at things that could be left alone for now it only pushes the final launch out just that much further. Read More...

Prey Is Now Letting Us Play With Power…s
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Prey New details on Prey's alien powers and human upgrades are here and it shows just how in Prey we will be playing with more power As we mentioned earlier in the week, Prey was slated to get a few new videos to look at to go over the alien powers and upgrades that we could jam into Yu's eyes. We've already seen a nice smattering of them all already but just when you though that Arkane Studios has shown them all, they have a few more in the wings waiting to be seen. Now we get to see them and hopefully not all for Prey here as we still need some surprises come May 5th and hopefully Bethesda is going to reel it all in to make sure we aren't left wanting but also don't know it all. That is the hope at least. Read More...

Enter Senua’s Soundscape With The Latest For Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Hellblade The latest developer diary for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has been released and this one goes into just how sound in Hellblade will be a huge aspect Every time I see something new for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice I am generally impressed and can't wait to see where it all goes from there. This time around I can't say that I saw anything new and impressive with Ninja Theory's latest developer update for the game. Thankfully this is not due to the team faltering on Hellblade or anything, but because this time around it is all about the audio and in that aspect I am taken back yet again. Read More...

It's Almost Time To Get Tangled In Blue With The Guardians Of The Galaxy
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of March 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Guardians Of The Galaxy The release date for Guardians Of The Galaxy has been set and we also have a new trailer for Guardians Of The Galaxy's first episode The date has been set and the Guardians Of The Galaxy episodic title will be here by April 18th for those who want to pick it up digitally for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It kind of looks like Telltale Games is only slightly using the new film to synergize sales for the game but none the less it is coming. I guess you could say it is going to piggy back off the Guardians Of The Galaxy sequel in the way that a physical form of the game will be available on May 5th, the same day as the film, but that won't get everyone as amped up as it'll still only be the digital code for the season in the box more or less.
