New gameplay for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is here as well as a bit of a demo for us to enjoy before the launch of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth We knew there was a lot to come out for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth with the latest State of Play that went down, but I do not think everyone expected to have as much as we did. Not only did Square Enix give us all one more trailer to look at before the game launches on the PS5 this coming February 29th, but we also have a demo and a whole lot of new gameplay. Not new gameplay as in we have not seen it before, but new gameplay that are features and functions that were not even in the Final Fantasy VII Remake or Intergrade versions of things. Read More...

New gameplay for Rise Of The Ronin is here to give us all a better feel for how our ronin will forge their fate in the game It is now time to dive into another title that has had a whole lot of hype in the mass of the community with Rise Of The Ronin. A new title on the way from Team Ninja that will be taking us back to the way everyone imagines the war-torn lands of Japan back in the early 19th century. All for us to take on the role of the titular ronin of the game so we can try to influence the outcome of the Boshin war and maybe save a few people along the way. All while getting some other bits of gameplay that most would not expect to see in this title. Read More...

Just ahead of the launch for REVEIL, we have a nice long bit of gameplay to show off the horrors coming in REVEIL Things are starting to truly ramp up here for REVEIL now that we are only a month out from the March 6th launch of the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Ramping up so much that Pixelsplit took the time to sit down and show off a massive amount of gameplay to the world recently. At least massive in the way of how some of the puzzle elements of REVEIL are going to play out and then how some of the bigger horror sequences are going to function in the game. Grab a snack and get cozy as we gear up to see how this new title is going to seep into our nightmares as well as twist our brains just a bit more than they already are. Read More...

More of the bodycam horror is on the way with Demonsomnia coming with a demo for Demonsomnia out right now We did call it from before that the bodycam style was going to be the next big craze and here we are with yet another title in the vein with Demonsomnia. A new title from Woziva that will be using the style to add to the horror but a few other fun tricks to get us all further engaged with the game. Some of it through different filters that the bodycams will have on them during the gameplay, but also with making Demonsomnia a co-op title in the mix of it all too. Not overly groundbreaking, sure, but it is a nice little extra to try to help sell us all on getting used to this look and feel in the horror world. Read More...

PHYSINT (working title) has been teased out there with PHYSINT seeing Kojima heading back to some roots There have been a few things circling about for Kojima Productions as of the latest State Of Play event and those looking only at the trailers might have missed the sly announcement for PHYSINT. This is a working title for the next title the studio is going to be working on after Death Stranding 2, so expect that to change. What you should not expect to change for PHYSINT, though, is that it will be a title that will have the designer and studio heading back into the action-espionage genre of video games again. The launch of the next DLC for Atomic Heart is here for us all to walk into Limbo one more time in Atomic Heart Limbo has now opened up to us all one more time in the world of Atomic Heart with the latest DLC dropping on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. One that is going to give us more of what Mundfish has been great at giving us in an FPS while also leaning into more of the weird hidden within. This is something that Atomic Heart has done well since launch, but now it looks as if the restraints are off and we need to hold onto our butts for all of the super, extra weird things to enter the world. Not to mention a bit more of the story that might also take a darker twist with our protagonist's lost wife coming back into the fold. Read More...

Those looking for reasons to play SERUM will have just that as the demo for SERUM is out there with five reasons why you should play It has been a little bit since we heard about SERUM, so it is high time that we had something new to share for the game. Not just in terms of gameplay but maybe for some of the reasons why we should all be looking to give what Game Island has been working on a solid try. Something you can do right now with the PC demo that Toplitz Productions has out there for SERUM as you are reading these words. If you need more reasons to give the game a go, though, then get ready to kick back and see why we should all be going into this new dark place sometime in Q2 of 2024 here. Read More...

Compare things between the original Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons and the upcoming Brothers Remake as it comes to the gameplay After over a decade of time and upgrades to the various technologies out there, one would be certain to think that the Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons Remake is going to be leaps and bounds beyond the original version of the game. It should blow us all away, and it seems Avantgarden has the same thought when it comes to it all and what the Unreal 5 engine can give us for it. With February 28th quickly approaching and the Brothers Remake landing on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC then, it should be time for us to see those improvements side-by-side with the original. The name for Death Stranding 2 has changed a bit as we watch Death Stranding 2: On The Beach ask some new questions for the world Things are getting weirder and things are changing up for Death Stranding 2: On The Beach. Yes, that is now the new name of the game that Kojima Productions is going with for this PS5 exclusive title. A bit of a reference to the last game as well as a showing of what we are going to be doing in the upcoming game. Although, it does look as if Death Stranding 2 is still going to be leaning toward the reconnecting of humanity but going a bit more global than we did before. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was definitely one of those weeks where things were all over the place for the various video games we had to talk about. Almost as all over the place as the early launch for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League that happened. That and the waiting until the last moment to get that promised gameplay for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2. Thankfully it was capped off with other video games like Judas and the Silent Hill 2 remake getting some big info drops and videos to enjoy. Read More...

One last gameplay breakdown for Banishers: Ghosts Of New Eden is out to make sure we are ready to take on the role of these Banishers soon At this point, I feel as if we all know Red and Antea rather well for Banishers: Ghosts Of New Eden. There has been a whole lot of story out there and a whole lot of gameplay footage that DON’T NOD has put together for us all to enjoy. Not that I am complaining, but it is starting to feel as if Focus Entertainment is dropping a new "breakdown" video every week as we get closer to the launch of the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this February 13th. That is about two weeks as of this writing. Read More...

Get ready to virtually step into the world of Metro with the announcement we have for Metro Awakening There were many surprises and announcements during the most recent State Of Play that PlayStation held, and here we go with Metro Awakening getting added into the mix. If you recognize part of the title from past titles, then you would be on the right track as Deep Silver is working with Vertigo Games to bring us another run in the Metro line of titles and in the massive novel world that has been built. This time, though, it will be on the PC and PS5 in a VR and PS VR2 setting. All so we can better experience the Armageddon that we have not fully been able to experience as of yet. Read More...

The remaster for Until Dawn is no longer a rumor as we have a confirmation Until Dawn will be coming out again this year It is a rumor no more, as we have the official look at the remaster for Until Dawn on the PS5 and PC is on the way. A new version of the massive hit that Supermassive Games put out there in the world almost a decade ago, now with Ballistic Moon helming the remaster to give us a version of the game worthy of the current systems we are gaming on. Hopefully, you do not remember the story of Until Dawn or just want to have another reason to see some massive actors live or die in a video game that you get to direct. All of this is slated for some time in 2024, with our money on an October release window for this version. Read More...

One more trailer for Judas is out there to show off more of the gameplay and story that Judas will have for us Since the reveal of Judas back in 2022, yes it has been that long, there has not been all that much to go on from the game. Outside of the basics we could assume from what Ghost Story Games was already known for with the team and game director. After all of this time, it looks as if they were ready to give us more during the latest PlayStation State Of Play event. Only a little bit more, but something that will highlight that Judas is both very similar and very different from the other titles in any of their histories. Read More...
