New gameplay for Secret Of Mana's remake has dropped and it gives us all a look at how the combat in Secret Of Mana will handle here With Secret Of Mana getting a full remake here, it would make sense that other things besides the visuals would be getting touched on and updated too. At least if Square Enix thought that there was the need for that, and here we go with a look at some of the actual gameplay and combat that will be getting touched on for this remake. At least if memory serves it looks like it is being touched here, but it has been a while since I played the original Secret Of Mana so I could be off. Read More...

In the first three months Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has outperformed than the team expected and Hellblade shows little sign of stopping Word has officially broken that Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has crossed the five-hundred thousand sold mark and is well into making a solid profit for Ninja Theory's small team. This is not news that we normally cover here on the site, but this is kind of a bigger deal for gaming in general and not just the coffers of this one developer. It is a sign that even a small team of about twenty can make a title that can meet and then exceed expectations in a short amount of time and not require a whole lot of "fluff" to do so. Read More...

The Slaughter Tribe for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is here to join in the fight and you can get a taste of what they will add to Shadow Of War here Yesterday we all caught wind of the new and free updates coming to Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War today (11/21/17). All of that should be rolling out there as soon as the respective stores for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC get all of those things updated for us. We would be remiss though if we left out the other DLC that Monolith Productions has for us here with the addition of the Slaughter Tribe into the mix of it all. This is paid DLC for Shadow Of War, so it may not resonate with all of you out there, but it is one more tribe that will be mixed into the Nemesis System for us and needs to be shown off. We have a release date for the next three fighters to join Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite and we also get to see them in action here for Marvel Vs Capcom There is now a solid date to look at for when we will get the next batch of characters for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite as December 5th will mark the day that Black Widow, Winter Soldier, and Venom will officially join the ranks of the game. I am going to guess that the Capcom side of the character DLC will be somewhere in the near future, but for now, we get to focus on all of the fun Marvel characters joining right in. At least if there will be more DLC characters to fill in the other side of the Marvel Vs Capcom rift going on here. Read More...

Have a look at The Surge's next big DLC to come that shows off just what would happen in an amusement park after events for The Surge occur Attention all of you gluttons for punishment. It looks like the next big DLC for The Surge is almost here and now we have a fun tease to see what it will most likely hold within. A safe guess would be that Deck 13 has added a lot more in the way of deadly robots out there trying to kill us non-stop, but if you are not a guessing human you will be happy to see that there is a bit more than that. Of course, Focus Home Interactive has dropped a new teaser for this DLC for The Surge called A Walk In The Park so there will not be much in the way of speculation as to what we will have to face off with. See the weapons of Hunt: Showdown in action and learn how they have all be designed to give Hunt: Showdown a better gameplay setup If you want more weapons and gunplay for Hunt: Showdown, then you will now have it. At least in the build-up to the Alpha release for the game and little teases that Crytek has for us here. Also, a bit more after this as I am sure we are going to be seeing a lot more of these live streams for Hunt: Showdown in due time, but for now this is where we are. A nice long video showing off how some of the weapons we will be hunting with were crafted and also how they are implemented in the game. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with another great week of video games in the bag and so much more to go on with. Even as we head into the "big lull" where everyone is just playing what they currently have or are waiting for titles that we will not see until next year, we had a good chunk of news and updates to cover. We even had a chance to get our review of Horizon Zero Dawn's latest expansion out there for you. All while enjoying what we have for Injustice 2, Far Cry 5, and Final Fantasy XV in the mix. Here for the new Justice League film, you can unlock new gear in Injustice 2 that will get the team looking like their real-world counterparts Maybe you have put Injustice 2 down for a bit given all of the other games that have dropped here recently, or you are still knee-deep in the action and are only going to put it down long enough to go see the latest Justice League movie. No matter the case, it looks like NetherRealm Studios is taking their shot at bringing you more of these characters to you through the game's gear system as now you can unlock the gear from the film. At least if you are willing and able to hop back into Injustice 2 and take part in the Multiverse challenges to unlock them all. Read More...

A new VR experience in The Exorcist universe is almost here as we know when The Exorcist: Legion VR will be hitting the Oculus, HTC Vive, and PSVR It looks like we can add another huge horror franchise to the list of VR titles out there as The Exorcist: Legion VR is coming to us all on November 22nd to carry on all of the prophecies that were laid out in the lore. Well at least it is coming to the PC on the HTC Vive and Oculus as Fun Train and Wolf & Wood have not given a release date for the PS VR, but none the less we are getting a nice and creepy extension to The Exorcist III. Nonetheless, the game is coming to us and it looks like it will add to the "the scariest franchise" in horror movie history. Read More...

The Safeword DLC for Agents Of Mayhem and this adds a few little things but also Kinzie Kensington to the roster for Agents Of Mayhem If you are still jamming out to Agents Of Mayhem and still having a blast with it, then you should know that a new bit of DLC just quietly dropped out there that you may want to take notice of. Why Deep Silver and Volition did not make a big deal about it is beyond me, but another character from the Saints Row world is now available for the game. Who? Read More...

In a recent interview for Vampyr, it was revealed that the team does not want to do any DLC for Vampyr but plan for a sequel based on sales In a recent interview for DontNod's upcoming Vampyr, a few interesting things for the game were revealed but sadly still no solid release date for the PS4, Xbox One, or PC. It is still set for "early 2018" and I am going to venture a guess around E3 or so. Nonetheless, there were some interesting facts about Vampyr that did come to light outside of when Focus Home Interactive will deem it a full success or not. Read More...

A new behind the scenes video for Far Cry 5 is here to show us how much of Montana has been recreated just for Far Cry 5 By now there should be little doubt that Far Cry 5 is going to look amazing on February 27th when it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Unless Ubisoft has been going out of their way to only make the small demos look impressive and the gameplay videos are overclocked, it is going to be an amazing looking game. Not just because this is one of those franchises they work to make look visually stunning, but because Far Cry 5 is finally mirroring a real-world location and that just happens to be something that the team over there can do very well. I'll point you all at the Watch Dogs franchise if you were questioning any of that as both of those are insanely well done to give a true feeling for the towns and locations they are set. The launch for Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier is almost upon us and that means we have a new trailer for this Planet Of The Apes outing November 21st marks the day that Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier will be landing on the PS4 and there is still so much that we all do not know about this little narrative game here. We do know that it will be telling some of the story between Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes and War For The Planet Of The Apes; also that it will have four players involved in driving the story forward by making the choices that the Humans and the Apes need to make. Also that Imaginati Studios is all behind it here and trying something new for the whole genre and storytelling methods we have been used to for some time. Read More...
